A great Camera, both a good compact, and extensive Enthusiast Tool – I have had this Camera for about 2 Years now, its very versatile and also fun to use and can get your creative side out. even thou its not a DSLR it has the manual features of such cameras, yes, not as accessible as a SLR but Panasonic have done a great job. The LX3 has been super seeded by the new LX5 but that being said, the LX3 is still a great camera, and that also means that if you can get your hands on one you should be able to get a great price! and it will also be classed as a classic in the future im sure of it! Stylish, Retro, Artistic, and Great Build Lens Cover

I adore this camera – I wanted to get a camera which would be easy to use, high quality but also allow for a little creativity. This camera has turned out to be just what I needed. There are plenty of different functions and settings to play around with when I'm in the mood but it's also really easy to take fantastic photos when you just select automatic. The HD video recording is fantastic. The way it looks, the quality and ease of use

Excellent – This is a fantastic little camera. It is at the top of its class, as one of the very best point and shoot compact cameras available. The camera offers manual control over the settings, and has the option of shooting in RAW. What sets it apart is its larger image sensor (than most compacts) and fast lens. This camera would be great for DSLR users who want something small for everyday but don’t want to sacrifice (so much) image quality, or for amateur enthusiasts who want to get the best quality they can from a compact. Best image quality in compact camera, Leica lens, good low light performance, lens filters and adapters available (wide angle, telephoto and fisheye), manual controls available. Larger than most compacts (but worth it for image quality).

Excellent – This is a fantastic piece of kit. I have had this camera for 10 months and have used it in many different settings with great results. Low light images look fantastic even on automatic, and the manual tweaking allows even greater control. This camera produces wonderful black and white images, with beautiful fine grain on portraits. But where this camera really excels is in landscape photography. Colours are bright and natural. There are lots of other "film stocks" to choose from too.

The only thing lacking is a longer zoom lens, but this is somewhat ameliorated by the high quality of the images that are captured. You can crop images to produce a digital zoom and still have good enough quality to make a large print.

Over all I love this camera and it is rarely more than a couple of metres from me. Fast lens, easy menu, full manual settings Lack of zoom.
