perfect. Couldn't be happier – This has lasted me ages. I bought it second hand and love it....so easy to use....just goes and goes. I love the auto reheat...snsor reheat button.....the thaw program is amazing....thaws the emat safely without partly cooking it as it is done by weight. I don't actually use it to cook with ....maily reheating thawing, melting butter, heating milk… Read more

etc so can't vouch for it's actual cooking qualities. It is also very easy to clean and just keeps on looking like new. I will be sorry when it breaks down as I will find it hard to find one I am so happy with I think.

You wouldn't recommend Panasonic to your worst enemy – Unfortunately I had to give this 1 star in order to submit my review. This is the biggest lemon of a microwave you could find. The only reason we purchased this was to match our white kitchen, thank goodness we kept the old one. This has so many unfriendly features (1) the cool cycle, what is that all about! (2) the buttons on the control panel… Read more

are so hard to push, the unit ends up pushed to the rear of the cabinet. (3) the door never closes properly (4) food never heats evenly. (5) Panasonic customer service

The problems started early. The interior light gave up within the first 6 months. Then the turntable ceased to rotate. We can't be sure of the timing because we couldn't see inside but by sheer luck I could make out the dish through the glass and it was stationary.

We called Panasonic in April and were told to deliver it to the service centre for assessment. Panasonic did not want to come to the party to fix it under warranty. The service centre agreed it was a product fault and fixed the lamp and DB board under warranty. 2 months later we travelled back to pick it up. Now 6 weeks later the spring on the door latch has broken. Panasonic customer service is a bad excuse for a title.

Consumers beware!

Works well – The display is a dark blue so it is hard to read. The door button has gotten stuck so need to push it and also pull the door open at the same time. The door is also hard to close so the quality is not what I would expect for the price. It heats up the food well though so is not in the dump yet.  Show details

Scorecard - Can Do Better – Owned Panasonic Microwaves in the last 30 years and always recommended them to family and friends. This model is a shocker in comparison. Cannot complain when it worked just an annoying cooling cycle. Failed in 2 years of use, used for about 5 minutes per day. H97 error code. Loud crackling noise and no more heating.  Show details

Worst Panasonic I have had in 35 years – After owning only Panasonic Genius 42 litre+ microwaves for 3 decades this model is a shocker. The power is definitely lower than the previous model, not a big deal but.. The darn cooling starts after only 30 seconds and yes we have the appropriate spaces all around the unit. So annoying as you don't notice the finished beeps because the unit… Read more

keeps going. And finally you have to push the "touch" buttons on the panel so hard it just about pushes the unit into the back wall. Not a happy customer.

Panasonic NNst780 W – We had the previous 44 litre genius Microwave for 16 years and found it brilliant and user friendly so we replaced it with the newer when we updated it fitted back in the kitchen spot perfect .That is the only thing nice I have to say it isn't user friendly the timers are now back to front the key pad is stiff and hard to read as the lettering is… Read more

not big enough or dark enough you have to slam the door and push the open button so hard it feels like your pushing it into the cupboard .It is the most hated thing in the house every body is sick of it and curses it . they blame me for buying it .My son said the original was still working can we put it back .I have to say I hate it and ill put up with most things . Its a cheap and nasty imitation of the original .I would advise would be buyers don't even consider it specially if you have had the earlier version its not even close . Panasonic this a cheap poor quality disgrace. Its big inside Every thing its cheap nasty and non user friendly wouldnt recomend

Dud – I purchased one of these about three years ago and it made lots of crackly noises after about a week. I took it back to the Good Guys and they replaced it with another one. It worked fine for about two weeks before I put it back in it's box and stored it while we moved house. The place I moved to had a microwave so I didn't use mine for about 2… Read more

1/2 years. Finally moved into another house and pulled the microwave out of storage. Guess what after a week it started to make crackly noises then without warning itself. It literally blew up. Unfortunately out of warranty so of to buy another microwave, just not this brand.

Two crap ones in a row. Now thats some pretty bad luck right there.
