Panasonic SDR-H40

Excellent – Great camera, very easy to use. Just turn it on and it records. No complicated touch screen menus etc. Picture quality is good, only standard definition (not into HD tv etc, so SD is fine for me). Saves straight onto the hard drive, so no tape or discs to worry about. Love it!!! Love the zoom on the H60 - best closeups ever. Easy to use, turn it on and it goes. Camera menu is easy. Handshake stabiliser works great. When transfering from the camera to the computer, a bit fiddly having to use mains power instead of the battery power. Didn't dislike it, just a bit awkward with having to plug the charger into the camera via a dummy batttery.
