Pascall Marshmallows

Pot Product – I found the marshmallows to be powdery on the exterior and rubbery in texture. I have used them for years in my Christmas cooking and this year has resulted in total failure. Six jumbo bags plus all the other ingredients became an expensive exercise. I will never rely on Pascal marshmallows again Show details
Mixed Views – My husband liked them better than the cheapies but I find them terrible. They have a crusty exterior which is covered in powder and have an almost medicinal taste to me.
Bug in my jubes – Hi just letting you know I found this in my jubes .it looks like some kind of bug.Iam 69years and I have never found anything like this ,as I buy jubes every week

Pascalls pink and white marshmallows – Purchased IGA NSW 23/5/22. Expiry date 20/5/22. The outside coating was flaky and gritty. It spoilt the whole experience of eating them as is. December 2021 were soft and enjoyable. Show details
Where have they gone? – Only a couple of years ago I found your Mocha marshmallows at one store and I’d buy their entire stock out because they were so AMAZING!! Now I can’t find them anywhere in Tasmania :( Where did they go and please bring them back!! Show details

Melt in the Mouth – I realise there are cheaper brands of marshmallow on the market, but are often rubbery and lack flavour. In my humble opinion none measure up to the cloud like quality of the Pascall brand. My 99y.o.mother loves them because they are a sweet treat that virtually melt in the mouth. They also hold their integrity if you want to toast them over a… Read more
fire. I tend to stock up when they are on special.Yesterday at Woolworths I paid $3.80 for a 280 gram bag. They are an Australian made product.
Snakes – Got two packets of pink and white mashmallows only to find a jelly snake in each packet. I just wonder how did a snake slide into these two packets. Mmmm
Only love the pink ones! – I wish Pascall would sell the colours separately. I looooove the pink, but hate the white, so I only ever eat half a bag. I can't justify buying them often as the white get thrown out. Please sell bags of pink only!!! I haven't noticed a change in texture.

Pass on the crusty musty tops – My two packets of marshmallows are crusty on top, and crumbled when chopped, why would you disappoint me like that for. I only grabbed two packets because they were on special. Not happy.
wish i had not put it in my mouth – just bought a packet of choc mallow bites, strawberry and creme. only had 1, spat it out, tasted revolting, over salty and just plain YUCK...YOU as a company should taste them and rethink selling this product. Show details
Yuck!! These have changed!! – The marshmallows have changed. No longer melt in hot chocolate, have a gross crystallized sugar crust and different texture all round. These were the only marshmallows i bought....now i wont be buying any at all. Gross!!! Show details

What has happened to Pascall Marshmallows? – I have been enjoying Pascall marshmallows in my hot chocolates for years. In the last two years, however, I have definitely noticed a change for the worse in their texture. They are now firm, rubbery and generally unpleasant, whereas they used to be soft, light and melt-in-the-mouth. Because of this, they no longer melt properly in my hot chocolate! How disappointing. I won't be purchasing them again. Show details

So disappointing – The latest Pascall Marshmallows I have purchased taste so much different now. They are rubbery and break into small pieces instead of melting. What has happened to the original recipe? Won't be buying these again. Show details
Floury, chewy more like a jube than marshmallow – What has happened to my favourite childhood treat? It's now too chewy and has lost that soft, melt in the mouth experience. Also coated in too much powder. Very disappointed! Show details
Cringy squeaky cornflour – I used to love pascall marshmallows but today I went to roast them and found the abhorrent cornflour coating them. I am disgusted and would like them to change back!!!! Show details
Way too much flour - ugh! – These used to be nice but are covered in a ridiculous amount of cornflour. It tastes gross (like eating flour - because you are actually eating flour). It makes an enormous mess on your hands, clothes, table... everywhere. Don’t buy them for kids unless you are prepared to clean everything they go near. So surprised these make it through quality control.
Used to be great – What’s with the horrible squeaky cornflour that is so horrible to touch and gets all over your clothes. Yuk. Toasted some last night and they didn’t burn properly either.
WHY is there soooo much cornflour? – I am 60 and have been eating Pascall Marshmallows all my life and they have been delicious, so WHY have you changed them now to coat them in such a thick coating of cornflour? Obviously it's to stop them sticking together but they never used to stick together until recently so what did you do to the recipe that changed them?
Used to be delicious now like eating baby powder!! – Seriously guys - sort it out!!!! The cornflour feels revolting to touch and revolting on your mouth. Used to be a favorite :(
Not a fan of the texture, but the taste is good! – I do like the flavour of the marshmallows themselves, however the amount of cornflour(?) coating these things make them rather difficult to enjoy. The dry powdery texture on the outside gives me goosebumps every time I eat them, a similar sensation to nails on a chalkboard.
Too much white coating on marshmellows – What has happened to pascalls marshmellows they are covered in so much white stuff you can barely taste the marshmellows... They weren't like this before what's happened?? They taste revolting..

Changed Recipe – We used to eat these all the time but they have changed for the worse. Maybe because they have changed their recipe so that they can be[Content Removed]
Texture change – These have been changed. The texture is different. They are chewy - not melt in your mouth like they used to be. Shame on you pascall for changing another recipe.
Yuck – These have changed, and not for the better. I actually returned them as I thought there was something 'wrong' with them but no, this is the 'new taste' which Pascalls have confirmed they have You've lost me
Awesome – When you are either making a hot chocolate at home on a cold and wintery night, or, when you have finished cooking all of your meat at a BBQ, or, simply hanging out with your friends, using these marshmallow just adds more fun and taste to it. I love them! Great taste and texture Should come in smaller sizes for hot chocolates
Mmmm – Going on a camp? You definitely need Pascall Marshmellows. Drinking hot chocolate? Definitely need some marshmellows too! I absolutely love these marshmellows. I always have them around the camp fire and they melt very nicely and taste amazing! During winter I also pop one or two marshmellows in my hot chocolate too and it tastes just divine!… Read more
Melts easily. Affordable. They are extremely yummy Sometimes when I have too much I would begin to feel sick..
A yummy sweet treat – I buy these to have in the house whenever I want to have hot chocolate with marshallows during the winter. These are so soft and really are like pillows that are super fluffy and soft! Even though they are made of sugar, somehow they arent that sweet for me and I dont feel too sick after I eat a couple of them. Since they are so soft, they would… Read more
be great for someone with sensitive dental issues and wants something soft and easy to eat. I love both the soft white and the rose pink one, I always have trouble choosing which colour to eat first. These are great to eat on their own or to cut into smaller squares to have in hot chocolate. It would be nice if they were a bit smaller, so I didnt have to cut them into tiny pieces for my hot chocolate.
Good – They taste like soft, heavenly clouds that seem to disappear once popped in your mouth. The outside has a light, slightly stiff texture with a soft and sticky inside. They're inexpensive and taste great in any rocky road or chocolate fondant. They come in packs of vanilla and raspberry or a tropical pack with banana, apricot and raspberry- all deliciously tasting. Love 'em
OK – I often buy these Marsh mellows and not once have I been unsatisfied. I use them for cooking and they work a treat. Also like toasting them and they also taste great. I like the idea of them coming in different flavours, (pink white and peach) for a bit of variety. They taste yummy and are better than the generic brands None at this stage, but… Read more
would like to see them bring out Gluten Free range or something along those lines. And I find the packet goes way too quickly!:(
Excellent – Raspberry and vanilla flavoured treats that are incredibly soft and fluffy to eat. Sweet tasting but perfectly sized treats suitable for the whole family. Can be used in a variety of ways. Found at all good supermarkets for a great price. Soft and fluffy textured mallows that have a sweet sugary smell. They are very soft when squeezed but easily… Read more
pop back into shape. Available in white and light pink (vanilla and raspberry). Fat free and gluten free treats that are creamy and slightly chewy. Diverse range of uses. Can be eaten plain, added to recipes such as rocky road, toasted on a camp fire, dipped in chocolate (fondant), added to hot chocolate drinks and even used for decorating cakes. Great treat size.
