Really good breast pump ! – I love this pump! Bought it 3 years ago for my first baby and it still works for my second. Poor product. Do not buy! – You would expect an expensive breast pump to simply do its job, but the suction is so poor. There is plenty of milk there, but the pump doesn’t seal properly and therefore doesn’t extract much milk. at all - they told me to change over a part with the spare one from the box, but it made no difference at all. It has been like this from day 1, but its too late to get a refund as I bought it on special months before we had baby. Do not buy!!

Good quality – I opened it but havent used it yet. Will use it from April. But the package is tight and no bad smell of any plastic thing. I am going to use it from the day my baby girl born. Perfect, easy to use – Is it comfortable to use? Yes, I use it with both my kids (almost 3 years apart) could hardly tell it was there, How long do you typically use the machine for? 6 Months. Minimum 4 times a day, roughly 10 minutes each breast, both times. Is it easy to clean and maintain? Its very easy to clean and maintain just pull it apart and wash it then pop it in the steriliser. This is perfect – I bought the Avnet breast pump for occasional use and this is working perfectly. I can get around 50ml of milk in 5 minutes. The parts are easy to remove and wash and the suction of the pump is good. I boght this for around $150 which is $100 off the regular price.  Show reply

Very limited life span – I am really disappointed as i purchased this pump in April 2017 and for first few months I had no complaints with the machine it did work well but after 4-5 months of use it started making noises and the suction got very slow and took almost 1 and half hour to express 180ml of milk. Waste of money and only stress – I bought this machine 6 weeks ago. It has no suction at alll. I did read the tips and tricks and tried again as well. No use.spent so much money and not reliable .Cant even return it. Wont recommend to anyone. copies ytour rythm – this pump copies your rythym. ndidnt know how to use it at the start. you have to manually pump as fast or slow you want to go and then press the button to start the pumpimg. the actual sucking strength is not strong enoughj though. Not a hospital grade pump

then needing a valve replacement have had no other problems. The only thing that is a bit annoying is the power pack with its adapter can be very touchy and if bumped will turn off.

Waste of money – I bought this pump and seems to work ok as a manual pump. When I connect it as an electric pump either to power or batteries it is completely useless. Will not get any milk at all. Wish I would have not wasted the money and bought a better quality electric pump. Bought it at a baby show so couldn't do anything about it. Will definitely be looking at a different brand.

the bottles don't work....how hard is it to make bottles? They have bottles with your pack that don't hold in milk. As soon as i go to feed my baby using avent bottles milk leak from the lid on his face.

Not only can they not make a pump but cant even make a bottle yet they charge so much for such an awful product.

Doesnt get milk – I have brought both manual and electric pumps, the electric pump does not get good suction on my breast unless i remove the silicon breast protector and i have to pump for a long time to get a good amount of milk as the suction is not very good! The electronic pump is a disaster! I'm very disappointed! – I paid for $240 for the breast pump that last not even 4 months. The suction is completely inadequate.

Even worse is the appalling customer service and the refusal to offer a refund. The Chemist Warehouse in Sth Melb were similarly unhelpful.

'Have we tried using it with a photo of baby in front of us to help stimulate milk flow?' was the most condescending of all suggestions.

This is the worst electronic device I have ever purchased. Both Philips and Chemist Warehouse have lost us as customers for life.

time when money is already scarce and the pharmacy won't follow through with a refund. Don't buy this product if you don't want to be disappointed! I wish I had read the reviews first but I thought it would be OK using a reputable brand... It just goes to show that products don't always deliver what is expected or advertised and that is very wrong.

Hopeless suction – Just purchased this pump and also wish I had read the reviews!! This machine if you could call it that is hopeless. I bought it to upgrade from my Grobaby electric pump and I am back using the Grobaby as the suction is so much better. This pump literally does not suck no matter how I assemble it. I need to express. I've tried relatives' pumps (two other common brands) and they were fantastic and put this pump to shame. I thought it may have been my assembly of the product, but I have reassembled it many times. I came on here and realised that I'm not the only one who has this trouble. Very disappointing!!

Very Frustrating! – I bought it because my friends recommendation. After 2 weeks becoming a mother, using single electronic breast pump was so frustrating. Failed to get the suction. My hands are tired holding the part in order to establish the suction. I am so unlucky that the white valve was not included in my purchases. The price is not cheap in Malaysia. all the advice be relaxed, put a warm face washer on your breast, pump one side while feeding from the other side etc etc etc and yet it still doesn't work! My 6-year-old Avent was MUCH better (and cheaper) – Totally agree with previous reviewer About the very poor suction. This is my third baby, and I've never had any problems expressing with my Avent electric pump purchased in 2009. When it needed replacing, I didn't hesitate to purchase Avent again - now I wish I'd read some reviews! The suction is very weak, and what little I've been able to express has taken ages. Avent, I fear you may have outsmarted yourselves with this new design.

Avent used to be good – I bought avent electric pump as had used a manual one for my other son 16 years ago and loved it. I also bought all avent bottles, tests, sterilisers etc. The pump doesn't work very well at all and takes me ages to get a small amount. Just bought 4hole nipple feel teats and they don't fit in the bottle very well at all and leak a lot.

I would not recommend the electric pump to anyone. It is a complete waste of money. I even bought sets of the avent bottles and steriliser. The bottle lids are hard to screw on and often leak.

It's a shame because I was under the impression that advent was a decent brand!

using it incorrectly, I'm going to invest in a different brand. The only saving grace was that it came with a manual pump. It's gotten me through the first week with a newborn that is struggling to latch, but even now, after multiple uses, the manual pump components are starting to creak incredibly loudly during use and isn't as effective as when first used. The entire product is just pure rubbish. Stressed out mothers with young bubs need a product that is easy to assemble, reliable and works well every time. This product has put me off Avent for life.

supply and an ebf 6 month old. My medela pump broke after 5 years and I bought this thinking it would be as good as Avents other products. I am so upset. Please do not waste your money. Spend the extra on a medela it's worth it.
