Great Customer Experience – I rarely attend the branch...however today I had cause to drop into the Mascot branch at the Qantas Campus. was different to my present card, I made contact to query this. I was assured that the 'coloured' card generated a new card number. So off I go to bank to withdraw some cash from ATM with my present card. Guess what - card 'gobbled up' as it was 'stolen' or 'cancelled', and NO cash for me. Phone calls - you can never get a Manager, only a Supervisor (who purports to be a Manager, until pushed on status) who then identified all the errors!
1. My initial email was not read properly, resulting in the staff member immediately canx my card without any notification to me. 2. The new card ordered will NOT be a 'coloured' card, as they are not available!! 3. I am left with No cash available, No card, and when I receive the new card - it will be the SAME as the old card !!!
I refer to Qudos bank as Westpac2 as the level of service is no different to all the other large banks, that we know only treat customers as a source of profit.
Qudos goes out of its way in a bad way – When running a business they have stopped bank feeds as people use this to help reconcile their accounts for tax reasons. I also went to buy a car last year with my own money I had done all the checks as I have done it a number of times over the years. I have been an account holder for over 30 years and I have had enough. Firstly I made a two payments to the same person, this was so I could keep track on what I was paying them back. they could not do that unless I told them what it was for and paying them back was not good enough. Needless to say I was pretty upset and told them it was none of their business. It took them 48 hours to finally realease the payment. They have frozen not just one account but three accounts leaving me with no money and having to borrow money from family as they expect you to fill out forms whilst on a Christmas break and not knowing anything about it. They also gave me false information which then meant more accounts were frozen. I am changing banks as soon as possible. Be very careful they are a very intrusive bank wanting to know everything you do and that was a minimal amount $500.00 I would recommend going to any other bank NOT QUDOS!!

Talking with Brandon helped ease me down as he went through the process I was trying and picked up that I had forgot to increase my limit he then proceeded to speak to another department to speed up limit increase and they in turn requested confirmation that I knew who I was trading with , if I was confident with the transfer etc as once done I was on my own with no responsibility to Qudos. I was so pleased to have them point out that fact as I had overlooked it even though I knew of the tradie so another thank you to Brandon for taking time out to follow through on my behalf. How long have I been with Qudos as it is now known, since about the 1960's or early 70's and the reason why is in the event above , you can rely on the staff to be there for you in all situations.

Again, his service was excellent; he understood my complicated issues; provided excellent informed advice on how to deal with them; and resulted in his increasing my limit; to assist my needs. I felt that the processes which each went through with me to verify not only my ID, but also to verify the transactions which I was undertaking; as well as external transfers intended to be made; make me feel VERY confident in making each transaction. Each of them understood my complicated needs; and addressed them perfectly. Thanks to Qudos for employing such empathetic and wonderful people; as well as for training them to such a high level in the required knowledge for them to be able to deliver such exceptional customer service. Been a member/owner since 1989. Since merged with Bank Australia the customer service is woeful, long holds, and inability for proper staff explanations. Similarly, my Platinum Credit card continually gets rejected by airlines, hotels, and often requires phone calls to their so called fraud team to stop embarrassment and get tickets issued even with QANTAS who is supposedly the key card partner. Given this is quickly becoming a lefty communist leaning bank telling us what cars we should buy and what we should do with our lives, I'm ditching everything I can.

Qudos Babk sent me an sms requesting action to complete foreign tax and know your customer form in 2 working days. If I did not complete these form the sms stated access to my accounts would be restricted! The tone of the sms was horrible and the time to complete the forms was totally unreasonable. I know this is about compliance for Qudos Bank… Read more
but this is no way to treat a customer i have been s member for over 50 years when it was Qantas staff credit union. I am happy to complete whatever forms the Bank requires but not unreasonable timelines or receive harsh tones in their sms. I am about to switch my funds to another bank.

Unfortunately they have let me down with the worst customer service, I thought that being an existing customer would be different, apply to get a cash advance from my home loan, applied on the 8 Jan 26 through my broker, signed the contract on the 13 Jan 26, loan settled on the 19 Jan 26, still waiting to receive the money, one email from them… Read more
stating they have a technical issue and can’t deposit the money, nearly two weeks, no other means of asking if they can help or any other follow up from the bank, I was hoping they would be diff other banks and actually care for customers

As a current customer, rang Qudos Bank phone line with a specific home loan question. Henri very nicely promptly asked about my question, and after phone call customer user name & password protocols were passed, provided prompt answers to my concerns. Even went above and beyond with further questions regarding loans generally. All I can say is... well done Henri. And well done Qudos for your very good customer relations department.
