Love it! – I am no expert at doing my hair. Actually quite hopeless. I went to Harris Scarfe because I find they have great special on appliances. I picked this up for $35 down from $74!! I used it on the weekend and got my husband to do the back for me (I told you I am hopeless). I found it really easy to use and I like that you can change the heat… Read more ·  1

settings. The cord rotates so it's easy to use. It heats up so quickly which is great because I have kids and I don't want to have to leave it laying waiting for it to be ready. Very happy! Easy to use, heats up quickly. Nothing yet.

Can't live without it!! we love it – Wow, this is the best hair straighter ever. We definitely can't live without it. We use it everyday and it has never failed us. It heats up in a flash, you can always count on it and if you have a bad hair day it will fix all your problems. It's easy to use and reliable. Nothing, it's awesome!!

Bad – This is an update of an earlier review. After using this for a couple of weeks I found that unless it was at a very high temp on my fine hair my hair would get very dry and fly-away. On a lower setting it didn't last at all. Do not use if your hair is fine price didn't work on my hair after several hours

Excellent – I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Its an awesome hair tool - Definitely worth the $70 australian dollars it cost. If your looking for a flat iron this is the one in my opinion! If you have any questions feel free to email me or send me a message or whatever it is you do on these things :) btw I'm under 20 so I use this ALL the time :) I bought this… Read more

straightener after my previous one broke down (the old one was Remington but from an op-shop so probably quite old). Anyway I did a lot of research, and I mean HEAPS! I never spend a cent more than I need to (when we get into the $20's +) and I research everything thoroughly. But I adore my Infinity straightener! I couldn't live without it. It doesn't damage my hair, or snag or burn, and it can even curl - although if your planning to do that often I would suggest getting a proper curler. Heats up super quick and has a lock switch so I don't accidentally change temperatures.

FANTASTIC!! Nothing not to love :)

Brilliant Value for Money – I had been looking around for a straightener for a while to replace my old, very basic and pretty ineffective Vidal Sassoon. I went to Hair house Warehouse and the people there were wonderfully helpful. They tried both the GHD and the Silver Bullet on my hair, and the Silver Bullet did a better job. But I was reluctant to spend around $200.00 or… Read more

more for an appliance I used periodically only.

After reading the reviews here about Remington, I bought the Infinity S9800 at Harris Scarfe - advertised on sale for about $50 after deducting a take $10 off voucher.

The Infinity has a number of different heat settings up to 230 degrees which can be selected and locked in so you don’t accidentally increase the temperature to 230. (Like I did the first time I used it!) It heats up fast and is light and easy to operate. The ceramic plates are wide and float (I like that they are bigger than my old straightener but haven’t found the floating feature of much benefit). It has a two year replacement warranty, which encouraged me in my choice.

It’s very effective, far superior to my old one and I much prefer being able to select the temperature. I have fine hair but lots of it and find 200/210 degrees suits my hair type.

It came with a small cloth pouch which only covers the straightener, it’s not big enough to accommodate the cord too - so it’s not as useful as it might have been.

My hair stays perfectly straight between washes and after 3 weeks use, I’m very happy with my purchase and the money I saved. I like the results so much, that I now use my straightener every time I wash my hair. Good features, great value for money and most importantly - very effective. The pretty useless pouch that came with it - disappointing but small negative. The straightener itself is great.

Excellent – As this was my first hair straightener I wanted to buy a good one. This product was recommended to me by the store I went to, even though I was planning to buy another more expensive model. The slimeline style makes it easy to use on my short fringe as well as great for the back. It is so easy to use and I love it This is my first hair… Read more

straightener and I love it. It is so easy to use and the variable heat settings are great. I can straighten my shoulder length hair in about 10 minutes. Nothing I dislike about this product

Excellent – Brilliant :)I am very happy my hair looks like its been salon straigtened and it only cost me $67 from Priceline, I wish I had bought it sooner. It also comes with a 2 year replacement warranty if anything goes wrong with it you just take it back to the store with the reciept and they will exchange it for a new one. Just bought one of these after… Read more

my old muster finally blew up.

Did a lot of research on straighteners but did not want to spend $200 on the hairdresser type ones.

Well I am very happy. I have hair down past the shoulders and this straightened my hair in no time, I put it on the maximum setting as my hair is thick and coarse and locked the temp in.

It stayed straight for 4 days until I washed it, I did not have to do anything to my hair inbetween and it still looked good. Going to try some curls with it now. My hair was a little fly away, but maybe I had the temp a bit too hot but its only the first time I have used it.

It soon settled down.

Excellent – An amazing product that curls and straightens with eaze. CURLS LAST in my painfully long straight hair.... Weigh up the cost compared to GHD and you seriously cannot go wrong! (I picked mine up for $60 at Harris Scarffe) A fabulous straightener that is hard to beat! I did my research and decided to purchase this one. It straightens my hair… Read more

beautifully and leaves a gorgeous shine. The huge benefit for me is that it curls my pin straight hair and the curls LAST!! It's an amazing product and the salon length plates are a great advantage and I love the digital display. The cord could be a little longer.

Excellent – I LOVE IT!!! i would recommend it to anyone!! save yourself $200 and get one of these it works just as well as the expensive straighteners. i will never buy an expensive straighter again cause they just aren't worth the money! I love this straightener. i had a cortec and it broke one week out of warranty. this one comes with a 2 year warranty and… Read more

only cost me $60. it heats up quickly and does everything all the expensive straighteners do. it also had a lock function so once you have the temperature you want you press the button and it locks it so you can't accidentally change the temperature the cord is a bit shorter than other straighteners.
