Excellent – This is a really affordable product which has all the necessary features to make it good; 6 heat settings, on/off button, clip to kept it closed, swivel cord and ceramic teflon coated plates. This is the first and only straightner i have had. It was very well priced and i think it works well considering this. It takes a few minutes to heat up but… Read more
whats that mean really? Six heat settings is great but it probably wouldnt be the best for thick hair. I am even able to create curls with this straightner which is a bonus. There is acutally nothing i like about it, it's not as good as a really expensive straightner but it's still great.
OK – Doesn't leave hair dead straight, but does a good enough job. Also doesn't dry hair out too much as i have experienced with other straighteners. Paid less than $35 for it (cheap as!). Gets to temperature quite quickly. Seems to lose temperature slowly while being used. Really hot at first but doesn't produce consistent results, unless you put it… Read more
down and let it reheat again. My "on" button has fallen inside the unit and you have to push the edge of it down on an angle, and hold it there for a few seconds to turn it on
Excellent – Best straightener ever. Doesn't burn your hair. Works like majic. i have really thick and buffy hair and when i use this straightener it makes it nice and thin and smooth. you can't get any better you gotter love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The best straightener ever. I have never burnt myself with it. I can do more than just straighten. it can make curls… Read more
and waves. I have had this straightener for a year now and it stil works the same. The teflon coating hasn't peeled off and it still look brand new!!! Works like an expencive straitener but only cheeper. I have nothing bad to say about this straightener.
OK – All right for a first straightener. It finally stopped working after 3 years. But maybe because I curl the cord to store it. Reasonably priced. Did not get dead straight hair.
Excellent – This is one of the best things i have ever bought. I almost bought a GHD but thankfully my wise sister talked me into buying this Remington. Love it! Super cheap. Heats to 230 degrees. Lightweight and easy to use. Don t dislike anything about this product.
Bad – Was very good at the start and loved how you could change the temp. But now once it's heated up and I start to use it, it swtiches itself off?! It's a good size, easy to use and the temperature control is good. Well I've had mine for 1 year and it's switches itself off?!
Good – A very good straightener considering the price. It straightened my hair quite well and my friends also comment on how good they think it is (for its price) but be warned that after a while the quality seems to degrade and your hair doesn't stay straightened. Also, this straightener is probably not good for your hair in the long run. It's great… Read more
as a "first" straightener or if you don't straighten your hair that often and so don't need anything too strong. I bought 2 of these over the last 6 years, but recently decided to upgrade to an expensive straightener which will get the job done in less time and is healthier for my hair. Cheap
Ceramic-coated plates
Relatively fast to heat up
Long-lasting Ceramic coating comes off after a while
Seems damaging to hair
Excellent – I really LOVE this straightener. If it works in my hair it will work in anybodys hair. When mine finally dies I will be going out to get the some one. I could not live without my Remington slimline digital straightener. I just love what it does !!!! I am hooked!!!!! I love this product!!!! I have had mine for 3 1/2 years and I have NEVER had any… Read more
problems with it. I have really thick, frezzy hair and after straightening (which only takes me 20 mins) my hair comes out looking so sleek and shiney and it lasts for about 3 days. NONE AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good – I would reccomned this product to anyone as a good first off hair straightner. It would be ideal for poeple with thin hair but can perform just as well with thick hair but more time is involved. Im glad i bought this straightner. Straightens easily and well and you can also create curls, waves and flicks. Straightens without frizz and leaves hair… Read more
shiny. Does not take long to heat up and get hot enough to work well. Digital display is good. Its also one of the cheaper hair straighteners on the market. It is worth the money and your hair stays in place. the cord can wear out easily. but other than that its pretty good.
Excellent – this one is probably best for medium to thin hair. it works best if you do small sections at a time. i put my hair into two braids and then straighten over them for perfect waves! definatly buy this one. i still havent found anything better or cheaper Heats up in about 5 minutes, it can be used on wet hair, goes right up to 210 degrees, its thin… Read more
enough to do curls with it if you know how, i have had it for about 2 years and still works perfectly. its also best value for money i could find. turns itself off when left on for to long! impatient people wont like the 5 min wait compared to something like a GHD. letter on buttons fade fairly quickly, if let on for to long the tip where you hold it closed can get hot!!
OK – I've had this one for about two years now but im upgrading (as im in highschool and good hir is important to me)now. the hair strtaightener works really good on curly, thin hair but if you have thick hair like mine i don't really recommend it as it dosnt straighten that type of hair well and only last a short period of time. im either now going to… Read more
get a GHD,OZhead think pink or a diva hair straightener. Overall for the price it is an ok hairstraightener but only for certain types of hair. nice design. can be used for curling if you know how to curl with a straightener. straightens thin hair very well. it akes ages to heat to the maxium temperature(about 5 mins). Hair dosn't stay straight for long. dosn't straighten think hair very well.
OK – I really liked this hair straightener and wished it lasted me a lot longer. It would heat up real quick and straightened my hair real well and kept straight the whole day. It was easy to use and for a cheapie (i think i got mine for $34.95) it worked real well especially on thick hair. I was so disappointed when my one broke and i known there was… Read more
2 years warranty on it i would have gotten it fixed (i thought the warranty was only a year). Anyway after this one i got a WAHL ceramic straightener. Cheap, worked well, fast heat-up, temperature control, auto shut off Mine broke after only a year
