Watch out for the Corkage – The food is just Ok but what really leaves a bad taste in your month is the $6.50 per person corkage. There was only two of us - she brought her white wine and I took my favorite red. That cost us an extra $13.00. I thought corkage was to cover the cost of the waiter servicing wine and cleaning the glasses. We open and served our wine and yes we used their glasses. If I had know it would cost $13.00 I would have brought my own glasses. Their Corkage fee sounds more like another way to make profit. Would not recommend this place.

Waves Seafood Buffet Surfers Paradise – 9 of us dined there last night Sat 4th Dec Sunday a fairly busy night. The service? Impeccable, friendly and attentive. The atmosphere? It is a large dining area and with large self serving areas please do not expect a quiet intimate romantic experience. The food? Something for everyones taste, Asian Curries, South American flavours, Italian pasta, side salads, soups, Vegies baked or stir fried. The Seafood? some may agrue that the vaiety is limited but the supply of it never ran out. All food was fresh and to my way of liking. Did we have a good time? A resounding YES. The price was fantastic ( it helped that I rang before hand and got a great deal/discount).

Would I recommend to a friend yes yes yes. We have eaten here before as locals we have a great variety of restaurants to choose from. We choose here whenever we have friends stopping by as it is a treat for all to eat the variety and finding something to suit every palate. SWEETS yes and fruit salad and the hit with most people if they still have space.....A Chocolate Fountain with everything you could imagine and more to put on a stick to smother in chocolate and enjoy.
