Looks good, useless model – Always buy Samsung appliances as you can normally guarantee quality. This microwave cleans well and looks good but its absolutely useless, the worse microwave so far and it wasn't cheap either. designed this has let Samsung down badly. What's the point of a microwave light if you can't see stuff cooking through the door? Useless.
Worst microwave I've owned – We bought 3 of these at the same time, one for the kitchen, 1 for the cinema and 1 for work and every one of them it garbage. You can't see through the door and it doesn't cook anything in a reasonable amount time. Even packaged foods, if the packet says 7 minutes you will need 10 minutes. Very frustrating to use – I hate this microwave with a passion. The black door was designed by someone with no idea about cooking. You can't see in so the bowel, mugs and jugs boil over. It overcooks the edges, but very slow to defrost. I do it for double the weight to get it anywhere near defrosted. Every time I use it, I say never again. I suppose you get what you pay… Read more

All in all good microwave – This microwave is easy to use with many preloaded settings .good value . BUT HAS ONE BIG FAULT , THE DOOR IS TOO HEAVILY TINTED AS YOU CAN NOT SEE INSIDE MICRO WHEN IN USE TOO MUCH TINT AND LIGHT NOT STRONG ENOUGH. this is the only fault I have found . cheap microwaves we've owned, all the condensation was inside the microwave which tells me they were sealed well) This machine is not sealed at all.. if i continue to cook in it, it'll cause my cabinets to swell from the moisture. Not to mention there are holes on the side of the door with light shining thru it... which means all the radiation just seeps out while its in use. I'll be binning this one!!

repairer Woolly Appliances in Ravenhall. Great customer service and efficiently done all in 24 hours. They advised they have cleaned the machine thoroughly as requested (strange but unusual issue, not really falls on a manufacturer warranty) due to potential infestation. We were ready to buy new one as we had no way to get rid of the insect. Thank you Samsung for agreeing to take care of the issue after warranty had expired free of charge.
Easy to operate – Just bought this microwave replacing a Samsung that lasted 7 years. I cant fault the microwave it worked well and this one I am sure will be the same, so that is why I bought another. The only thing to be aware of is replacing them every 5-7 years. I was amused to see some with 10 year warranties on the cavity of the microwaves, they are not the thing that is going to break down, so that means nothing really, but sounds good. Show details

Can’t see a thing! – Works well enough. Not as good nor as quick as my old one. BUT WHY ON EARTH IS IT BLACK INSIDE? You can’t see a thing. Very poor usability because of this. I bought it during lockdown so didn’t see it prior to delivery or I would NOT have purchased it because I can’t see inside, groan. Can I rip out the black bit on the inside of the door?

running. The old Samsung "Timeshare" microwave had a plus/minus 10 seconds button, so u could adjust cooking time, and I really miss this feature. Also, according the guide, the only things that u can use the sensor cook function on are popcorn, a potato or "single entrees".
Great for reheating and steam cooking – I am visually impaired but by colour coding the start and stop buttons I can reheat drinks and foods effortlessly. Steaming beans, broccoli etc is just a matter of putting them in an oven bag with a little water. Show details

Samsung ME6124W Inferior quality product and warranty service – I purchased a Samsung ME6124W 34 litre 1000 watt inverter microwave on special from The Good Guys Mandurah in October 2019. It has a 2 year warranty. The oven is making a loud horn like noise which is intermittent. I returned the oven to The Good Guys Mandurah who sent it to the Samsung repair agent (Camtec). that it was an intermittent loud noise and offered a video I had taken with my phone. The response was "the service agent will find the problem " After 3 weeks the oven was returned "no fault found ". I took the oven home and the first time I used it the noise started instantly. I then contacted Samsung Customer Care (Rebecca 23/11) who had a solution to take it to another service agent that is 90km from my home, this makes it a trip of 360km to drop off and pick up. This is not a fair and reasonable solution to a defective and possibly dangerous product. So in summing up a poor quality product backed up with even worse service from Samsung and The Goodguys Mandurah. I have loaded the video at YouTube as "Samsung ME6124W noisy operation" BTW I I have a Samsung TV, tablet and 2 mobile phones. I will consider other options when these are due for replacement.

display. We continually had to keep switching it on and off for it to work. Now it choses not to work at all. Our cheap microwave lasted 10yrs, that is more than 3 times longer than our expensive Samsung and it cost half the price.
I called Samsung, they refused to help without my receipt.
Spoke to a repairer they recommended and to fix it, there would be a 1hr round trip to the repairer, a $65 minimum inspection fee, not including repairs and a minimum 48hrs to inspect. I can go down to my local Kmart, a 10 minute round trip, spend $85 (less than half the price) and get a microwave with the same warrantee and better product reviews.
I love their phones, but I am very disappointed in their microwaves. Lets hope their fridges are as good as their phones, because if our fridge lasts as long as this microwave..... I will be extremely annoyed to say the least.
Don't get a Samsung Microwave if you want it to last.

Standard Microwave Oven – We only use the microwave oven to reheat food and a little bit of defrosting. It works perfectly. The user interface is not great though. I need to take the instruction manual out every time when I need it to do something more than just reheating. Show details · 1

Dissapointed – Bought this today, and used once, but sending it back. Cannot see a thing through the glass door while cooking in progress. The light is so dim and the glass is so dark that you are unable to see anything inside while heating is in progress. Great except it broke after 2 months of use – Was going great until the door mechanism broke after 2 months meaning that it couldn’t be used as door fault kept showing. Samsung doesn’t offer replacement so has to be sent away meaning no microwave for 6 weeks. Wouldn’t recommend, our Kmart microwave before was better. Show details

noise is louder than you'd like.
My elderly parents also find this a little difficult to use as the buttons aren't colour coded. I've actually resorted to putting stickers over the buttons to help them.

Great - except for the interior colour – Good microwave. Does what is needed. Easy enough to work out cooking options. I like the 30sec cooking button. Have had it for 3 hours. It has worked...once – The microwave was used for the +30 button, pushed 4 times, heated up a cup of water. Then I set the clock. Then the microwave failed to heat. I reset it, did not reset the clock, tried changing the power to 10, turned off eco...nothing. I don't have time for this. It's going back to the shop tomorrow and I will buy Westinghouse. Love this appliance – I've had my Samsung microwave for 8 months now and I have no complaints, apart from the darkness of the front door panel which makes it difficult to see through but that's a minor irritant.
