Fridge freezing food, not great! – I have a White SR432NW, purchased by my parents for me as a gift/thanks for helping them out with stuff. Bought in Aug 2011, so now outside 2yr warranty. Will be speaking to Samsung tomorrow, so fingers crossed...but the fridge keeps freezing our fresh produce down the bottom, and the eggs up the top. We've turned it off to reset it, changed the… Read more

temp up, down, cleaned it all out to make sure nothing was stuck...nothing. It's still ruining half my food. Not happy. Should have known better after a bad experience with them with a microwave years ago. Didn't learn my lesson. Don't buy this fridge. I'm hoping they will come to the party with fixing it as it just isn't on for a fridge to do this within 3 years of being bought. I expect a fridge to at least get to 6-8 years before giving me grief. I had a Maytag before, the ex now has it...was fabulous. And an Admiral-they don't make those now. Wish they didn't make this piece of rubbish. As a freezer, it's great. As a fridge, it's a freezer....less than great. wish me luck.

This is a power saver – We have owned this model now for 7 months and found that our power bill has dropped and average of $92 per bill, and the first one of those was the bill from winter when heater usage is at a max and this makes the power saving even more remarkable..It keeps food at a very even temp while the interior shape gives easy cleaning even around the… Read more

corners..The only spot I find hard to get at and clean is the space below the crisper..The freezer compartment is quite spacious and suits our family with 4 kids so ice cream is always perfect and the ice maker/tray is hidden and works well..Very happy with our purchase. Spacious, very energy efficient and easy to clean.Good value.

Loving my Samsung – I have just bought this model twelve months ago and so far, it has been down right marvelous. It is the first time, hand on my heart, I have been over the moon; about a fridge. Its size is just perfect for my large family and it works efficiently. Especially with everyone opening and shutting it all the time. It is such a giant performer. I got… Read more ·  1

Great fridge for larger families!! – I purchased this fridge a year or so ago now and I am loving it.. As a renter, I find that this seems to be the maximum size we can have due to the way a lot of the kitchens are set out these days.. It's not a huge fridge but it is very well set out and with the adjustable shelves you can customise it to how you want it! This is a very… Read more

quiet fridge with a great thermostat, always keeps things perfectly chilled without freezing them.. (unless they're in the freezer!! lol) It has both a chiller and crisper down the bottom which is great for keeping certain foods separate. I like that it is big enough for our family of 5 without being overly expensive. This has been a very reliable family member, and keeps everything so fresh and crisp! As great as this fridge IS.. It has its faults. The door handle pops off every now and then. It is easy to put back on but an inconvenience nonetheless.. The plastic compartments on the freezer have a tendency to crack. I have 2 that have cracked now, however they do still perform their jobs!

Excellent – Highly recommended to anyone. Was doing research on fridges and keep looking at local newspaper, appliance online, compare.com.au and product review.com.au, and I had filter out this model in the very beginning becoz applianceonline.com.au don't have it in stock and they had the best price ($745 delivered), and i found the depth is significantly… Read more

larger (more than 700mm), so then I almost got kevinator ktm3900, however after seeing the real product, i found the number didn't indicate the whole truth as the depth figure includes the handle, without counting the door and handle the depth is 610mm, which have this fridge back to my list again, plus good guys manage to price match appliance online, just have to paid $70 extra for Sunday delivery. Can't find any other deal that can paid less than $745 for 434L. Great deal in terms of $/litre, also a former fridge I had from Samsung also give me confident on this fridge, the old one already worked for 5 years without a problem. Good inner spacing, quiet, i have another smaller samsung fridge and i can hear the noise from the old smaller fridge even louder than this new one. Also glad that it doesnt have a stupid giant ice tray like the former samsung model or Westinghouse that takes 25% space of the freezer. The led light is a plus, hope they can also put a led light on the freezer. The egg tray comes with the fridge only hold 8 eggs?! For a 434L fridge I reckon they should have make it more or give me another egg tray. The bottom crisper is not very smooth when I try to slide it out.

Good – I went looking everywhere for one of these and I ended up getting it for $800 delivered brand new. Hasn't missed a beat and I was pleased with everything in it. It was simple, had glass shelving and some 3D cooling system which stops cold spots. Very pleased and I am impressed for a Samsung Fridge. Works well, keeps cool and does what it's meant to do. Nothing, sometimes a little noisy.
