Best fridge we have ever had – We purchased this Samsung fridge in 2005, and sorry to say after 17 years of faithful service she finally threw in the towel. It has been the best fridge we have ever had, not one service call/fault in that time. This cannot be said with the current Samsung range when we were looking for a replacement, at the end we purchased an Electrolux French door fridge, we hope we get the same reliability as our old Samsung.

Still going strong – Had this fridge 12 years and it never missed a beat apart fro the water dispenser getting blocked. Never needs defrost and easy to roll out to clean never ran out of ice.

very bad quality – We payed around $1800 for our side by side after about 6 months we notice there was a bubbling efect on the face of the fridge just below the water tray , It looks like the paint is coming off . But its suppose to be stainless steel .Any way samsung repair man has came round and said they will replace the door at no cost to us great . This time only! But it looks to me the fridge is only covered with a thin layer of stainless steel laminate. Not the solid stainless steel we believed it was made out . Not sure what will happen 6 months down the track the door if the same thing wiil start to happen.???
