Samsung VP-D381

Terrible – We purchased this for our son for his Birthday. He didn't use it for a while but has now decided to make an important year 11 project on it using production, actors etc. He has managed to film 12 minutes of footage and the camera now has mechanical fault. It has erased all of the tapes visuals & has kept the sound and repetitively ejects the tape. 12mins....wow, that takes the cake in break down! Anyways, we are one day out of warranty, figures!, the Samsung repairer won't touch it if it's not under warranty and another said it is just not worth the money to fix it. Now we have a useless camera that won't do anything, a devastated kid who put a lot of effort into his project and less than adequate support. Well, I've got nothing to loose and Samsung will be getting their camera back and they can.....well let's say they can deal with it.
