washer/dryer combo – Dryer function, while it won't completely parch your clothes (not a negative in my opinion) comes in handy on those cloudy/wet weekends. enough though - the other week we had to dry our sheets so we could sleep on them. It did the job in about 2hrs. Usually we don't use the dryer at all, but on a cloudy/wet weekend we will run it for 60-90 minutes just to dry clothes a little, then hang them inside.

Update: this washer got so annoying when trying to use it to capacity. anything over about 4.5kg it refused to spin or would just take forever. Dryer built in it good. Quiet. Airwash is good for winter clothes that aren't actually dirty, just musty. Shakes like crazy during spin cycle since we moved house. Only since we moved though, so perhaps it got roughed up a bit or it's not on a flat enough surface

Clothes come out very damp – These washer dryers are a good idea in theory but have a way to go until we have a good product I think. Also I had to turn the machine off at the wall and wait 3 minutes for it to unlock if i wanted to stop the dryer early. Luckly I bought it from Harvey Norman and they allowed me to take it back after 4 days.

I tolerate this machine, clothes damp after many hours, Also they get extremely hot while drying cau – It's quiet and washes clothes OK, But after maybe 5 hours of "drying" our clothes are still damp. If you stop it part way through drying you'll find your clothes are red hot, to me that means it was a waste of time selecting a cool wash in order to avoid shrinkage etc. Now, after 14 months, the thing is going to need repair as it just stops without any error code, part way through a drying cycle. This is perfect! Can't live without it – Its lasted us 3 years now and we use it four times a week with full loads.It has a handy quick wash thats good if you are in a hurry.Drying takes quiet long thou,but it gets the job done. It is a good machine.I tell my friends that all the time.  Show reply

Terrible – Don't waste $1500 on this machine look else where for a better product as you will be disappointed at wasting your hard earned cash on this piece of crap. Washes cloths great and is quiet Doesn't dry cloths or anything properly even after 9hrs!! everything comes out damp waste of $1500

clean, dry clothes out, then into the airing cupboard they go. Jut so everyone knows... No condensor dryer ever gets clothes completly dry, as drying them in a machine isn't the best for them, always leaves them a little damp to finish in the airing cupboard which is way better than having them burnt dry and all your towels lose their fluff and geting as hard as rocks, and your delicates burnt and ruined over time!!!!! To anyone still living in the dark ages and using one of those tired old top loading machines.... WAKE UP and get something decent.... or would you rather continue to get about in your horse drawn carriage... *smiles* This machiner is fantastic and you'll never be sorry you bought one. Don't buy this!! – We like this washing machine but it broke down just 13 months after using. We got it fixed and 3 months later it broke down again. Broken down twice in 16 months?? Well, i think it's not worth the money. If you do get this machine, please get yourself extended warranty. And we haven't even got to try the dryer function yet. electricity is cheaper)and also have it finish washing or drying when I wake up in the morning. One unit that washes and dries, perfect for a small laundry.

Drying was no problem for me as I read the directions and did not overload the machine. It has a 7.5kg wash load limit but only 4.5kg for drying. Wouldn't recommend this product for large families as it does take awhile to wash and dry and if your washing load is excessive on a regular basis it will take you a very long time to get through it.

If you want to wash and then dry the same load you have to make sure it doesn't exceed the 4.5kg limit or it will not dry.

Terrible – Make sure this machine is installed level or it will shake you house to pieces. Had two service calls to remove lint from dryer pipes why do they not just have a lint filter. Samsung WD8704EJA which they did. Read my review of the Samsung WD8704EJA to see what a fail that machine was Very good at washing 28min cycle fine for every day, 1400rpm spin good for saving line drying time. DOES NOT DRY, extreemely heavy @ 90kg
