CCTV LAZY DISRESPECTFUL COURIER The driver didn’t respect our property walked through the garden twice, flattening plants, then dropped the package, snapped a photo, and walked off without even knocking on the door. The company’s excuse is that they had “authority to leave it,” yet somehow couldn’t knock? More like authority to be lazy. The driver had a perfectly clear walkway up the driveway. Poor customer service all around. Show details

Remotes Store did the right thing here and issued a refund on postage - I’m grateful, but relying on Sendle is not helping their business one little bit. The package is a small fan remote. are in run of 36 to 39/40 degree days. How does that help Remotes Australia or any business? Sendle is going to cost you business. If I had to order from any Australian business and found they were using Sendle, I would look elsewhere. If this had been an Amazon delivery, it would have arrived in two days. Why do Australian businesses keep shooting themselves in the foot? It is now so absolutely clear that Australian businesses simply cannot compete on service.

It's now been delayed again.

Don’t expect a recommendation. Don’t expect return business. Sendle - You have FAILED!

As a seller, this is the second time I’m writing a review about Sendle. The first time was because they damaged my parcel and refused to compensate me. This time, they’ve come up with a new trick. Most sellers probably never check the weekly bill Sendle sends out, because it often goes straight to your spam folder. But if you actually open your… Read more

bill, you’ll realise that the shipping fees you thought you saved were never really saved — in fact, you’ve been charged much more than the actual cost.

I’ve attached some screenshots as evidence showing how Sendle overcharged me. Everyone can take a look and be aware. They actually overcharged me on more shipments than what I’ve shown here, but I’m honestly too tired to go through every single one.

On the evening of 08/12/2025, I checked last week’s bill. I had 32 shipments, and Sendle listed nine of them as requiring extra charges, claiming that the parcels exceeded the actual size or weight. For 32 shipments, the total postage was $198.97, but they added an extra $59.66 for 9 of those parcels which they said it oversize or overweight.

I found this very suspicious, so I checked which orders were flagged. They labelled these parcels as “small parcel size” but claimed they weighed 4kg or 5kg. It’s unbelievable — my small parcels don’t even reach 250g.

Unlike Australia Post, which notifies you when a parcel is scanned as oversized or overweight (and gives sellers a chance to double-check before paying), Sendle gives no notification at all. They simply charge you directly and then send a “bill email” that conveniently gets filtered into spam. If you don’t open it, you’ll never know you’ve been overcharged.

The funniest part? One of my parcels was only 45 × 15 × 11 cm, yet Sendle claimed it was 138 × 40 × 20 cm. The original shipping cost should have been $8.62, but they added an extra $47.87 on top! Is this still a logistics company? Or is it basically fraud and robbery?

To all sellers using Sendle: check your bills. See if you’ve also been overcharged. If you have, please share your experience. We shouldn’t let an unethical company like this continue taking advantage of sellers.

Revised Version I recently tried this shipping company again after a long break from my previous experience, and unfortunately nothing has improved. They are not truly Australia-based—they rely on… Read more

third-party delivery companies, many of which provide very poor service.

I posted a product sold on eBay for delivery within WA (buyer and seller both located in WA). The customer lodged a non-delivery dispute, and after a week of what I believe was a misleading or careless investigation, I received an email saying the parcel was “lost.”

This is not the first time. Previously, I lost almost $1,000 due to their mishandling, and they refused to compensate me despite providing all evidence. Now they have lost another parcel worth $250.

Based on repeated losses and unacceptable customer support, I strongly recommend avoiding this company even for local deliveries. If anyone needs proof of the communication and losses, I have all screenshots and documentation.

It comes as no surprise that this scam operation collapsed. designated pick up point.(hubbard) Well it became much clearer a few days later when I saw on the internet that Sendle `had suspended services from the 11th January with no explanation. See below the details downloaded from the internet. "Australian parcel and courier service Sendle has suddenly ceased operations, leaving small businesses in limbo. Sendle, founded in 2014, sent an email to customers informing them that the service will be halting all bookings "effective immediately" from yesterday, January 11. "If you have any existing or scheduled bookings with us: Any parcels that have already been picked up and are in transit will be delivered at the discretion of the delivery partner." Maybe I will be lucky and have my purchase delivered but I am not holding my breath. Another one bites the dust.

Sendle is a terrible middle man "courier service" that does nothing but subcontract out to shonky disreputable couriers like Amarex, and take no responsibility. I bought an item from an online seller, and the package needed to go from one suburb of Melbourne to a Melbourne CBD apartment. Someone was often home, however instructions were to leave… Read more

the package if otherwise. Not rocket science. It's now over a month, no package, and they want me to go collect it myself. By comparison, during this time we successfully received packages from other sellers using Australia Post and other courier companies.

Every missed deadline I had to chase it up with Sendle (they did not proactively manage the courier/delivery in any way).

Package was due to be delivered 8-11th of December. At almost 6pm on the 11th I got an email from Sendle claiming "delivery attempted/card left". Why did they not leave the package as per instructions?

The email contained a link to organise "redelivery", and this redirected to an Amarex website. It required a code from the card left. But they didn't actually leave a card. There was no evidence they had ever actually come to my apartment.

I contacted Sendle support to let them know of this issue (12th December). They didn't have answers, but put in a request for redelivery and told me it would be delivered on the next business day. After 3 business days (17th December) I recontacted them, and they marked the package as not delivered and began an investigation which was meant to take up to 7 business days, and they were meant to provide updates throughout.

I didn't feel confident in Sendle at all, so I reached out to the seller to ensure they had all the correct information, however they just rerouted the issue back to Sendle.

I didn't receive any updates through the "investigation", and after 7 business days I chased it up again (30th December). At this point I saw that the tracking history claimed that on the 18th of December another attempted delivery/card left. I didn't see this update as I received no message from Sendle related to it. No package was left, no card was left. Sendle support (after much faffing about) acknowledged that the investigation period was past and Sendle staff had not received replies from Amarex, so it would be finalised and they would let the seller know to resolve the issue with me.

When I didn't hear anything further, I contacted the seller to let them know what Sendle had said, and give them the option of delivering the package through a fast reliable method (Express Australia Post) or refund. They pointed back to Sendle and said that Sendle had told them the investigation was still ongoing (different to what they told me). This led to many support messages and emails back and forth with different Sendle staff that was frustrating as they did not read the whole message thread and I had to keep repeating the information while they gave nonsense responses.

On the 5th of December there was another claimed "attempted delivery/card left". Again, no parcel left despite that being the instructions.

When Sendle staff requested "redelivery" again, it couldn't be done, as they claimed it had already been attempted twice.

At this point Sendle put it back on me to go and collect the parcel myself!!! In Amarex's business hours (never mind my own work). And it would take 3 business days for the request to be processed!

Throughout the month I repeatedly asked straight forward questions that they never answered: - IF the courier attempted delivery, why didn't they leave the parcel as per instructions? - Show me evidence that they actually came to my building. They did not leave the claimed card either. - It is the Seller, Sendle and Amarex's shared responsibility to resolve this. It should not be me the receiver having to fix their problem.

The Seller basically pointed all inquiries to Sendle, and then Sendle said they couldn't do anything but trust Amarex, and Aramex claimed whatever it wanted and still pocketed the delivery fee without delivering the parcel.

Do not use Sendle. Do not use sellers who use Sendle. Total time waster. You will waste many hours chasing things up and still not have your package.
