Great vacuum cleaner – I've received NV500 as warranty replacement for NV350 back in 2015. After 8 years, I'm looking to replace the broken hose. Yes, it is little bit heavy, but I'm not caring it anywhere. Easy access to filters and it very easy to empty the container. Love my vacuum and the service from Mann & Noble – I love my Shark Vac. With a bad back is so easy to push around without putting effort in to it. It does all the work and basically pulls itself along. IT is extremely versatile and has too many attachments to mention. After almost 5 years of getting a workout most days, the head died. Shop who sold it to me.. they had my name and had debited my account for 6 month but couldn't find the details. MAnn & Noble have taken over sales and service and quickly honored the warranty. New Head sent next day 6 months after, the main motor stopped. Again TV shop were appalling.. But Mann & Noble were sensible enough to take the purchase information and again honour warranty. New machine next day. Best machine !! And as long as Shark is back by MAnn and Noble it will be my vacuum of choice,

Love it! – When I first used this vacuum.. I could not believe how much it pulled out of the carpet! It's sooo versatile, and with all the attachments it's also great for the car. Not a fan on wooden flooring..it blows stuff about a bit... but I don't know what any other vac is like on them so cannot compare. Show details

Amazing product – Best vacuum I have ever owned. Use it every day as I have 2 large dogs whom like to play and sleep inside. Perfect on all surfaces. excellent when new spares hard to suorce in regional nsw – cleans very well when new, not a lot of information for servicing appliance with product, the supplier was via tv hard to deal with once i had paid deposit, had to go to fair trading in nsw to resolve matter 3 monthsto arrive via courier, in the meantime i bought from big w , vaccum arrived after approximatley 3 months later ,then could not arrange for their courier to collect . shark needs a better dealer to distrubute product.  Show details

Good Vacuum – Best vacuum ever. The trick is that I taped up the "Suction Control" completely with a packing tape so no suction is lost. Also, every week I clean the Foam, Felt, and Hepa filter. You have to keep doing this habit so the vacuum itself operates as if it just came out of the box. Hope this helps.  Show details

Great Vacuum - Exceptional Power! – Compare to my old Dyson vacumn cleaner, this is a great vacuum with very strong suction power. It’s a little heavy but you can use it easy to maneuver and swivels smoothly also xceanning is also easy as well. If you have a pet, this product could be a good option.  Show details

Worst money ever spent – I wished I had written this review when I first bought it. It has no suction at all on hard surfaces, it is so heavy that I am exhausted by the time I finish vacuuming. I thought for the money I spent it would be a dream, instead it is a nightmare every time i use it. I can see why it has been discontinued.  Show details

garbage – this has to be the worst vacuum cleaner i have ever used the cord gets in the way and gets twisted when trying to wind up it does lose suction after about 5 uses it is just a nightmare to use would never buy from this company again as i have also had trouble with other products they produce ie the nutra ninja which just stopped working after about 10 or so uses company produces cheap garbage that is not worth investing in  Show details

Outstanding value – This vacuum is a dream, easy to meneuver and empty. Suction better quality then my sisters $1200 vaccuum. Obviously need some degree of maintenance with the filters but more than happy to do so once in a while. I loved my shark navigator lift away and upgraded to this model.  Show details

not worth the money – The vacuum is ok but not worth the amount I paid. The hose is that tight that when you use it the vacuum just tìps over. Suction loss after a few months and now the power head doesnt work. 150 for a replacement head! When the power head stopped working the vacuum made a loud bang and smelt burnt, assumed it was the rubber band but it wasnt. Its ok! Post sales Customer service is really bad – I bought this 3-4 years back & have been having issues in suction. Have youtube'd & cleaned as much as I could but a slight band on the base & the suction is lost. I've to switch off & on to use & the cycle continues every time I use it. to pay P&H. This is so unacceptable. I understand to pay for the part which is damaged in use by me but this is really crazy. People choose to buy these expensive products to get value & peace of mind of post-sales service in return. Really disappointed.

Great device, Certainly worth the price – I initially purchased a shark rocket which was recalled by the company and was issued with the NV 500. I am very happy with the performance. I believe the appliance although not so light is easy to maneuver. I use it on carpets and tiles . A 2 bedroom 2 bathroom living room balcony 99sq meters. I have only use a few of the attachments. The best vacuum I have ever used – A great job done on all my floors tiles carpet &laminated it is the best I have ever had great job nice &light And not to noisy a very to use it is. Overall great vacuum cleaner – Great vacuum cleaner. Easy to maneuver, easy to pull apart to use various functions. Contrary to it's claims though, mine does lose suction when the canister is full. This item is good – Doesnt pick up like hair well. Better on wood then it is carpet. Its heavy however it gets in hard to reach spots really well. The house is pretty big. However we just like to sweep everything up and vacuum up the piles so we don't lug the vacuum all around the house. It is quieter then most.  Show details

one as they felt that a head breaking after 3 months was normal wear & tear, no replacement, no repair and they couldn't care less about Australian Consumer Law as they are based in NZ.

In fact the ONLY THING that has 12 months warranty is the motor - it's a complete breach of the Australian Consumer Law but these guys don't seem to care. So essentially if anything breaks after 3 months they don't take responsibility, so BUYER BEWARE if anything breaks after 3 months you will need to buy a new piece so pretty useless as a vacuum - I will be going back to a Dyson in the next few months when all the components of this vacuum wear out.

Best I've owned – In 30 years of 'adulting', this has been the best vacuum I've used! It have great suction, easy to clean and maintain, quick and easy to use. Picks up the dog hair and cat fur and sucks all the fine dust and dirt from the carpet. Manoeuvrable and versatile. Takes up little room. Excellent vacuum!!  Show details

Perfect vacuum cleaner cannot fault it – Extremely happy with this purchase. Very good vacuum cleaner purchased from the TVSN. It's not very light however it is very easy to manoeuvre as it just drives itself. The headlights makes it easier to pick up dust from easy to miss areas.comes with many parts which is useful. amount of attachments so any task is covered and it has some great attributes we didn't even know to look for. E.g. It seems to virtually drive itself, it has headlights and a good storage capacity. The only thing missing is a retractable lead but all up we are extremely happy. Highly recommended.

Couldnt live without my shark! – I have a 4 bedroom house with 2 living areas, all carpet! Also lino in the kitchen area. I use my shark 3 days a week on both surfaces and i absolutely love it! Better then dyson – Can not be happier with my vacuume cleaner, I used the dyson first then used the shark over the same area, the shark still picked up dust etc. It can be used on carpet, tiles and floor boards no problem, it has multiple attachments, I use most if them, and find them all really handy! Shocking only had for 1 day – I run a business and this machine is the worst choice I made. Falls over when cleaning couches , have to go over the same spot on carpet to make sure all is picked up. to buy a backup vacuum cleaner as its obvious this brand and the company are not reliable .I have been left without a vacuum for 6 weeks now for the second time , I have a 4 bedroom house with carpet in every room..Do not believe anyone who says this vacuum is light ,its heavy to lift and tiresome to push around, and very loud , The suction isn't as great as they say...I will never buy a vacuum from companies like TV Shop ...Or this brand...

Love this vacuum!!! – The suction is amazing! Not quiet by any means but for its effectiveness I don't really care!
