Don’t buy this model – Very disappointed with my new hair straightener. Bought it online without seeing it as it was not available in stores close to me. Bought as a Christmas present on Black Friday sales. Sales person in Shaver Shop said it was a great straightener for the price … on sale for $120. Very light in weight, feels plastic. Doesn’t straighten hair… Read more

easily, need to go over it several times. I recommend you only buy if you’ve tried the straightener on YOUR hair!

Not all it’s hyped up to be – When I was looking for a new straightener I saw this one and saw that it had almost all 5 star reviews on so many websites. So many reviews gassed it up as being ridiculously good for the price. I’ve always just had cheap hair straighteners but the reviews convinced me. But man, was I disappointed when it arrived. This is a very below average… Read more

straightener. Absolutely NOT worth the money at all. It is literally worse than the $10 Kmart ones I’ve used before. The Silver Bullet is just so bad. It takes forever to heat up, straightening takes so much effort, you have to often go over the bit of hair several times (my hair is naturally straight and I’ve never had this problem in the past with much cheaper Remingtons). The straightener also just feels very cheap to hold. As soon as I took it out of the box i knew it’d be bad because it just felt like cheap materials. I thankfully got this one on half price sale, id be so furious if I paid the Silver Bullet store price (which at the time was around $200). It’s insane that such a bad, cheap straightener can have such a steep price tag. My advice? Just get a cheap Remington or tbh, the cheap $10 Kmart ones are even better than this piece of trash.

Does the job – I bought this to replace my 10 year old GHD, it works well and has good heat, but definitely not as hot as my old straightener. I purchased on sale from Ebay so worth it for $85 in my opinion. Show details

This is the perfect straightener – I’m amazed with the excellent quality and ease of use. It’s very quick heating up and I spend half the time I use to straightening my hair. Very satisfied with this product Show details

Expensive and worth it – I have owned a few hair straighteners in the past and this one is far superior to anyone. It glides on my hair and makes it straight without any effort, very easy to use, it does not tangle my hair, it heats up fast, results last until the next wash which is also great. Show details

Pink beauty – Yes, it heats up pretty fast and gets very hot. Needs some kind of protection around the outer plastic so it stays cool that hold the metal plates as it also gets very hot and I’ve burnt my neck and face a few times from this. Yes it just glides through my hair with ease leaving it shiny and straight. Yes it is easy to use only it does dry my hair out if I don’t use some sort of leave in treatment first.

Absolutely love this straightener – I am so happy with this hair straightener! It’s easy to use, heats up really fast, it doesn’t catch your hair and because it is so easy to use it just glides down your hair and you never have to redo the same place twice so minamal heat damage!

Great – I purchased the pink one with black plates as I heard that the gold plates tend to snag more hair. This has definitely reduced the amount of snags. It heats up in less than 20 seconds. Initially, it felt and looked really cheap but it actually does a really good job - very happy with it.

A good product but dried out my hair – Product heats up reasonably fast, with a good maximum temperature. I am happy with the overall product but I have an issue with how much this dries out my blonde foiled hair, even when utilizing products such as a conditioning spray or mouse it will still dry and make my hair easily susceptible to breakage. This does not happen with all… Read more

straighteners, my hairdresser uses the acclaimed GHD which makes my hair quite the opposite, silky smooth! However, apparently, they won't last as long as the Silver bullet, mine of which has lasted me 5 years!

Very good flat iron – Has a number of different heat settings for a lot of different hair types. It heats up very quickly so you can almost start using it immediately. The plates are a little on the smaller side so it may not straighten hair as quickly as some.

Pretty happy – Heats up really quickly and very easy to use. I have short curly hair and it straightens very well, but I wouldn't say it is dead straight. Has an auto switch off if you forget to turn it off. Overall I would recommend to anyone.

Can't fault it – I bought this hair straightener after my straight hair began to get natural kinks in it and it's great! It heats up very quickly and I haven't noticed any damage to my hair. I really love the little accessories pack that comes with it too, very handy and has everything you need. November 4th 2017 Update: Great little buy for the price I… Read more

bought this hair straightener after my straight hair suddenly began to have waves in it. I was after a good quality product without the price tag as I wouldn't be using it all the time, and this has been perfect! It heats up quickly and hasn't snagged my hair. Would definitely recommend to anyone in a similar position!

Does the job but takes time and patience – I bought this as I had tried the keratin model of silver bullet and thought they are the same. I was happy with the result of keratin model but this one took me more time to straighten my hair as I had to divide my hair into smaller portions to make it work. The body of the iron also feels cheap and not a very high quality and it gets hot on the back so better to keep fingers away from the back of ceramic parts.

good flat iron but not as good as keratin one – I bough this one to straighten my mid height hair. It does the job, however the Keratin one is much better and efficient as I tried my friend's one and felt the big difference. The attitude one has some kind of cheap quality feeling when I hold it in my hand and I need longer time to straighten my hair. still for the price it's ok.

Very good – I straighten my hair 1-2 times a week and it's perfect, my hair is so soft and silky when I use this. It lasted 12 years, best straightener I've ever used. I think it stopped working because I wrapped the cord around the straightener, which I recently learnt can pull the wires and stop it from working. I recon of i hadn't done that it would have lasted even longer

Works fine but after 8 months stops working! – I'll press the on button and it will heat up, I'll use it for 10 seconds only to realise it's been off the whole time. Every time I turn it on again it turns back off. Wouldn't ever by one again I'm convertible to a GHD.

absolute crap – the straightener works for about 2 minutes then my hair just goes back to the curly mess, leaves hair looking dried out , never straightens properly i would never buy one of these ever again.

Would probably never buy another one – I've had mine for about 6 months and then one day the plates decided to stop heating up and the whole straightener just turns off when I try to use it! I'm so upset about it, it was half price when I bought it though... :(

Amazing! – I had a GHD for years and after loosing it I was looking straight away to buy a new one but that weekend while at my hairdressers noticed they didn't use GHD they use silver bullet my hair felt amazing so I bought one. When using it it feels like your hair just melts to it and it glides through way better than GHD You can adjust temperature, reasonable price.

Finally my hair looks fab, I use it everytime I wash – After considering the GHD at more than twice the price, I bought the Silver Bullet and found it so easy to use. I've never burnt myself or my hair and I keep it on maximum temperature. I've discovered it's best not to use on damp hair, and I use Moroccan hair oil first for a shiny look. I have slightly curly hair and it will either completely… Read more

straighten or curl (which takes more practice). I love it and it always comes on holiday with me. I tried a girlfriend's GHD which was 3 years old and it couldn't get hot enough to work for me.

Several years later...I don't use it everyday as it can damage/dry your hair. It's only for special occasions now. But it's still magic! everything including the price

Burnout – This straightener lasted less than a year before it packed it in. It doesn't heat up to the required temperature, and the temp keeps dropping. I have to turn it on and off multiple times to get through straightening my hair once. I would not recommend buying this product. Spend the extra money on a better product. Doesn't work

Silver Bullet Attitude Ceramic – I don't actually own a Silver Bullet Attitude Ceramic, but borrowed one from a friend for a few weeks. I was quiet unhappy with the results the Silver Bullet had on my hair. Even though I applied a heat tamer spray, it managed to make my hair feel/look really dry and frizzy. I got a good grip on the strand of hair, but the straightener didn't… Read more

even straighten it properly. I had to go over each strand almost 3 times before it looked half decent.

The only thing I liked about the straightener was that it was light and easy to use.. Dries the hair out making it look frizzy/damaged. Doesn't straighten the hair properly, you have to keep going over and over the strand. Takes even longer to get the job done then others straighteners do.. Easy to handle/use. Expensive considering the poor quality of the product.

Excellent – This straightener is very good for the price. I would recommend it to anyone and it does just as well as a GHD but without burning your hair. I have very wavy long hair. This straightener worked just as well as a GHD (if not better) and left my hair very staright and frizz free. Curling your hair with this straightener is a breeze and your hair stays straight, even after slleeping on it!

Excellent – Great Straightener, paid half of the price for it than what the GHD goes for, and I can't see the difference in performance, and no one is going to judge you for using a $160 straightener of a $300. I've dropped it, taken it everywhere with me and its still working. I've had it for 2 years now and I wouldn't look at needing to buy a new one… Read more

anytime soon. Turns off if you leave it but I have come back to find the bench still hot. Straightens my thick long hair in about 20mins, and stays straight, Easy to curl None unless you favour the bigger, well known, highly advertised, more expensive brand over your bank balance... And a Brand conscious because you don't have the 'IT' brand of straightener

Excellent – This makes my hair smooth, soft and it actually feels healthier the more I use it. The person I purchased it from told me the tourmaline in the plates is extremely good for your hair and doesn't damage like traditional cermaic and metal plate irons. At half the price of GHD, this iron is much better at straightening and looking after your hair...… Read more

not burning it like GHD because you can control the heat with this one. If your thinking about it, don't hesitate, you will love this iron!! :) I have thick, long, curly hair that usually takes me an hour to straighten. With this iron, it took me 1/2 that time and it stayed straight for 3 days!! I even danced the night away in a hot and humid nightclub on NYE and it stayed straight and didn't frizz or fluff up at all!! none, I love it.
