Disgraceful – Disgraceful store with no intention to do anything but help themselves to your money. When a complaint was finally acknowledged you are given a different answer to the previous explanation. The best explanation for their behavior is that they have no stock of anything, and while they string you along with endless lies, they are using your money to gamble on the currency markets [or worse] and hope you just give up.

If you are willing to be out of money for over a month go for it – I waited over 3 weeks for my phone to be dispatched, after 3 weeks I desided to cancel and order the phone from amazon and got it the next day. Now been waiting another 3 weeks for my refund. If you are willing to be out of money for over a month go for it. I will never again order from them. Never got the phone, waiting over 3 weeks for a refund.

great shopping – I brought a kindle from Simply Electronics and they provided prompt delivery, with great prices and easy to follow web page. The kindle was cheaper than everywhere else and delivered within 7 days as promised even though we live in a smaller town. Email notification was straight away with purchase. I was more than happy with shopping here.

A great experience – Ordered a Camera that I had been coveting for some time. Half price of retail and much cheaper than any other site. I assumed there was 'a catch' or something 'was wrong.' I took the chance anyway and was amazed by the quality and speed of service, strong level of communication and the fact I got exactly what I wanted. I am 'almost' a convert to online buying! Simply Electronics Good Price took 7 day to arrive, given so close to Xmas OK – The Samsung Galaxy note 10.1 GT-N 8010 has been good for photo work, so easy to use. The S-Pen is great I have no need to print a document to sign it just use the pen, even completing forms do it on the tablet and send. The S-Pen Keeps my screen clean. Take your money, then email you they are out of stock – Ordered Sony handycam sales told me plenty in stock in Australia (SA/ WA number) warehouse in Melbourne,.payed though Paypal they took out $19.50 because of overseas transation.First I've heard its not Australian company. is not declared as a gift which I had to pay for my last phone from USA. I became concerned after reading dire reviews on other sites and after waiting for 2 weeks with no sign of despatch, I had decided in the end to purchase my phone via a retailer on Amazon (which was cheaper & received in less than week).

I am still waiting for my refund from Simply Electronics.....order date was 02/05/2013, refund requested 15/05/2013 that generated an automated email message ensuring that the product will still be delivered (went to junkmail)and you have to reconfirm again for a refund, which then sends out another automated service

Overall, awful service and I should demand interest to be paid back on top of the £310. I don't see how a transaction refund or delivery despatch can take more than 2 weeks to process. Company must be doing this on purpose for business cashflow.

Will never use them again. Never – I orded a Motorola Defy plus Optus 3g 900/2100 mobile phone. Two weeks later arrived a Telstra Next G 850/2100 model. via trackable post costing $52. I could not send it back to the Australian depot which i believe is non existant. After they found out the cost they said they had sent me the correct unit and i would have to cover the postage costs. Customer support confirm the the incorrect product after i spent 1hr explaining the problem but are useless, saying i have to send another email to get the issue to the correct section. 1 month has passed and they have not accepted they have made a mistake. I think they are hoping i will just give up. I am not sure about sending it back as they originally asked me to pay for the postage and they will reinburse me. This is the most frustrating company i have ever delt with and i am running out of headache tablets. Polite with lots of "sorry for your inconvenience" Customer service is painfully slow when something goes wrong.

Long wait times and product unavailability issues – The item may say availability, but this is not the case. I went through multiple selections of digital cameras until I found one they had available. Delivery takes 1 to 2 months, I have only had one low cost item sent within 2 weeks. The items provided usually come with an international adaptor, not with the cable for the county of purchase Some items are cheap Long delivery times

No product no money! – I hava ordered GoPro Hearo 3 on 28/02/13. Today is 21/05/13. After so many emails, phone calls etc I have no camerra and no money back on my account yet. They could not provide the camera cos apparently foulty stock. They are returning my money for the last 3 months. Simply avoid at all costs!!!!

further 5 emails and 4 phone calls from me (2 from London and 2 from Brisbane) demanding a refund before my money was credited to my m/card on 8 May 2013. Do not buy from this company unless you are 100% certain they have stock of what you want.

Would not give refund until demanded, did not answer emails.

freight! I opened a case and requested this is sorted and they said no problem. Waited a week and no result. Had to raise another case as the last was closed and they I'd no problem and a week later still no refund. I have had to escalate to PayPal all for the sake of a measly $10. Pretty sure these guys expect me to stop wasting my time chasing the money and to be honest it is a waste of time but it is the principle. I would strongly recommend you find another supplier who understands the value of customer service cause these guys don't!!!

Reasonably cheap but bad service and higher risk of default – Simply Electronics are extremely efficient with processing payments (immediate), but even items in stock (or so they claim are in stock) take more than a week even to pick from their warehouse. as to where they source product, accordingly there will be a higher risk should goods be faulty. Of course, that may be academic if you don't receive the goods in the first place! I'm hoping to eventually receive the goods that I've paid for! A rare case where the consumer assumes a credit risk with the supplier.

I would've thought this amount would be reimbursed since it was under warranty but was told that wasn't the case (after multiple emails requesting this information).

From 17th November 2012 until 1st March 2013 I emailed them 32 times and lastly made a phone call because I was sick of them ignoring my emails and not answering my questions when they did respond.

Each time they replied with an automated reply, that was often not followed up by a staff member email for several days. Each response from them said basically the same thing, that there was delays whilst waiting for the assessment team to assess the watch damage. That's fine if you are talking about a few weeks, not three and a half months!

I finally received an email early February stating that they'd replace the watch with a brand new one since it was taking so long to be assessed, it still took one month to be posted to me! The watch finally arrived and was a brand new one as promised.

I am extremely disappointed with this company, especially since I purchased the watch to use for training for a marathon and yet wasn't able to. I definitely would no recommend this company and will not be making any future purchases from them.

arranged my refund in 2 days. As per PayPal policy any dispute must need to be report within 45 day of purchase to get a refund. Beware! this SimpleElectronics will keep you wait for more than 45 days (this is most of credit card companies dispute report period) and end with eat up you money.

Australian regulation authorities should shut down this company ASAP.

Dont order from SimplyElectronics – Im still waiting for my refund placed the order on the 19th December, when you call SimplyElectronics they Wont let you speak to any management or their accounts department the also try and give the impression they are a local company, which they are not! they should be closed down. they keep your money without sending product

mistakes over what it was that I had ordered, what I had received instead, what I was trying to return etc. When the return was finally made I was told that their latest shipment of the camera I had originally ordered was damaged, so could I choose a different one. I went through about 5 requests for different models - all of them out of stock. One request I made was $30 more expensive than what I had paid and they wouldn't even cover that. So I decided to cancel the order and after emails promising the the refund had been processed and would be in my account "shortly", it is now Feb 2013 and still no refund!! Cheap prices... being told my order was about to be queued for shipment I smelled a rat and requested cancellation.

Then the process of course started over again. My refund was about to be queued for processing, I was told. After a couple of weeks of this I contacted Visa who reversed the payment immediately. They were great. And it didn't cost me the currency conversion (maybe twice if the refund had ever got processed! Once being converted to HK$ and again from HK$ to AU$). They do answer the phone but unfortunately that provides misleading reassurance. Dishonest about location and status of order and refund. Misleading not to flag currency conversion in costing.g

10 working days, however i had to wait for more than 30 days for my money to reach my account. Their customer service representatives are paid to listen to all your tough talks or no matter what you abuse with.

I recommend "Do Not Buy" from these sellers. Prices are lower than most competitors poor customer service

No Good – Bought an apple tv and got a uk connection for the power adaptor. Im buying within Australia and getting delivery to Australia, not sure why there thought I'd need a uk power adaptor is the best fit. Good service and excellent product – I am very happy with my Nikon SB-400 flash. It is small and light to put into the camera bag but is sufficiently powerful for general photography and I am really surprised with the result with the bounce flash .The service of Simply Electronics was good taking only 7 days (including week end) to deliver. light,compact with sufficient power

number of emails requesting information on the status of my order, all were met with generic, non-specific responses; (i.e. "due to a high volume of orders your item has not yet been dispatched, rest assured we will dispatch it as soon as possible").

After just over a month, I did the sensible thing and canceled. I was told the refund would be with me in 3-10 days. It has now been over a month since my cancellation and no sign of my refund. During this time I have sent various emails requesting someone contact me to explain why it is taking so long. The only response I have received reads: "Please be advised that your refund is still in process. However, rest assured that we will have your case followed up".. needless to say, I'm still waiting.

In summary, I seem to have donated just over £300 to Simply Electronics. I would prefer it if you avoided doing the same thing. I realize It may be tempting to save a few pounds and order from them, but trust me.. just pay the extra £10 and order from amazon or e-buyer. Think of it as an investment in not spending the next three months of your life on the phone to customer services.

Two emails later, they finally accepted I was cancelling. That was just the beginning of the saga. After numerous emails and just as many excuses as to why my refund hadn't been processed after 16 days, I raised a dispute through Paypal. Surprise, surprise, the money was refunded within 2 days. If you must buy from Simply Electronics only use PayPal and allow plenty of time for your goods to, hopefully, arrive. I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. It is the worst experience I have ever had over the internet. I ended up buying the camera before we left locally for the same price. The good thing was I was able to pick it up and pay by credit card when I did.

Slow to despatch despite being "in stock". Only refunded after a Paypal dispute raised.

They say that they ship and deliver in a few days - not true for me. It took them two weeks to ship by which time I'd already raised a Paypal claim. Awful service – I purchased a phone they said would be delivered in 6 days. After 2 weeks I called and they said they hadn't sent it and could I wait longer. Well, no I couldn't so I asked for a refund. It's been 2 weeks and I'm still waiting. Meanwhile I ordered the same phone from Expansys and it arrived in 5 days. and it was delivered yesterday. Less than two weeks and a saving of over $160.00 on a store price here in Adelaide. Product is in perfect condition and I now have a superb lense to take on my holiday next week. reliable service. Took nearly two weeks but that's what the site said their terms were.

Incompetent – Without doubt this is the worst online purchase I have ever made. I use the term purchase loosely as I have still yet to receive my "in stock" products that they took money for on August 24th.. Absolutely useless. In fact when it comes to setting a bar low for customer service and still failing to achieve it Simply Electronics wins the Gold Medal... Avoid at all costs.. Terrible incompetent customer service.
