Oldie but a Goldie – The Simpson Dryer never ceases to amaze me as they just keep performing year after year. This model is extremely easy to use and the power consumption is good for a dryer which has been around a while. The final drying result is good as you can vary the time allotted for different fabrics.I will malways purchase Simpson. Show details
Love it – I love my dryer it never lets me down and is good value for money. Can recommend this drive for anybody who was on a budget. Love the hanging bracket that comes with it keeps it up and out of the way. Have had Simpson products for many years now and I have always been reliable good value for money. Don't reckon you can go past the Simpson. Show details
Really causing me problems – Put dryer on 120 time stops every section it comes down to. Then have to manually reset. And at the end of cycle clothes are not dry. Very disappointed. I only brought it to dry my newborn child's clothes as thought it would be easier for me. But I was mistaken.
Excellent – I've had mine for 14 years now and it's still like brand new. Does a great job. Sadly it's now sold with my apartment and I move next week. Hope the new owner likes it as much as we have. :-)
Good – Does what you expect, dries clothes well, good value drier.Ihave always had simpson washers and dryers, have never had a problem with them at all. Quiet, looks great, well priced drier
Excellent – I really love this little gem, has never let me down even the last couple of winters when I have had a baby and a toddler at the same time it has kept pace with the high demand put upon it.I like the variable heat settings and long timer, means I can dry things cooler and longer without having to reset them.Only thing I can think of to compain… Read more
about is perhaps the size, but thats my fautlt, didnt have the two small ones when i purchased it. No complaints at all, reputable brand which has lived up to expectations in our house. Quiet and simple operation.Does the job with minimum fuss. No cons for this little beauty.
OK – It is a good clothes dryer and ran well for two years but since then has had the couple of above mentioned problems. This dryer was cheaper than many other brands when we bought it so I gues you get what you pay for though I had hoped it would be a little more robust. It fits a lot in and is easily capable of drying a load of towels within an… Read more
hour, much better than my previous dryer which was not a Simpson. Runs well and is quiet. Automatic cut off when you open the door broke after 2 years and the fan belt broke after 3 years almost causing the mtor to burn out from overheating.
i had this dryer since 2003 and still runnig till this day
Great dryer – I've had this dryer for about a year now, and I've never had a problem with it. I've used it a bit more than I had anticipated and I haven't noticed a difference in my electricity bill. It's only a 3.5kg, so it's really suited to singles, couples, or even families who only dry things when necessary. Simpson is a reputable whitegoods… Read more
manufacturer which was important to me when purchasing. It has very basic controls which is really all you need in a dryer. There is a timer that goes up to 2 and a half hours, and three variable heat settings - low warm and hot. I've only ever used the warm setting, never required the hot. For a full load of clothes I put it in for 1 - 1 1/2 hours and they're done, towels take about 1 1/2 hours, maybe a little more if it's a full load. I find the lint filter easy to take out and clean. Safety features include auto cool down at the end of a cycle, safety door switch and a safety thermostat reset switch which is handy because you can just leave it to dry your clothes without having to worry about it. I have it sitting on a flat surface, but it can be wall mounted and comes supplied with the brackets. The air vent position can be changed to allow it to be hung or sit flat. All in all a good basic dryer. Easy to use Nothing really
Good – We bought this to be a backup to the clothes line as we moved to a much wetter climate. With two young children, both in cloth nappies, we've had to call on it more than planned but it has never let us down. I'd recommend it for sure. relatively cheap, lightweight and easy to install up on the wall, does the job fine. Easy to use, simple dials, no… Read more · 1
fuss machine! honestly I cant think of any cons! I expected the colourbond drum might be an issue, or that it might chew a hole through our power bill but it's all been fine.
Excellent – Fantastic for anyone, but especially mums and dads with little ones who need lots of nappies, or clothes being dried. Great for getting those socks, undies or your favorite piece of clothing dried in hurry. Excellent for winter usuage mainly getting the kids school clothes dry in a hurry or overnight. EXCELLENT-The best gift I could ever recieve Energy rating not the best, uses alot of electricity
Good – Reversable action assists with quicker drying and stops tangling. The exhaust hose feature us great for directing air outside. Works efficiently and is reliable. Easy to use and does a great job! It doesn't load and turn itself on!
Excellent – Good value for money. Pity it won't do the ironing. Works well hanging upside down. The hot is super efficient. Optional drying rack that hangs on the front is very useful
