Simpson EZIset 36P500M

Disappointing waste of money – We purchased this machine 3 years ago brand new it has been a headache. Doing a load of washing was very stressful as the clothes would come out dirtier then when they went in even though we used front loader washing powder like the company recommended the clothes came out with lint and powder still on them. I have tried many off good quality washing powders and nothing worked I even made the load smaller still same result.

When load was finished it would continually beep every 5 minutes until you switched it off.

I will NOT recommend this washing machine to anyone in fact I told my sister in-law not to buy this brand and model when she was looking for a new washing machine thank goodness she listened.

We are now happy with our new addition to our laundry Fisher & Paykel Wash Smart Series 8kg and it is fantastic it does the job and gives me no headaches we highly recommend this washing machine.

OK – Got this machine as a cheapie when we moved interstate. It was one of the cheapest we could find and that's about all that was good about it. I will say that it is tough and has not broken down in the 4 years we have had it. Would be a good little machine if it actually cleaned the clothes. Will opt for a front loader next time for something different. Tough and cheap. Seems to last forever Does not wash too well. Sometimes the clothes come out with dry patches on them where the water hasn't even touched them.

Good – The Simpson 36P500M is a decent washing machine featuring a simple user interface and a quality wash especially when cheaper than $500. I haven't had any problems with a Simpson before and I plan to stay with a Simpson despite the noise. Washes quite well. Low price as well $419 is what I paid for a scratched one (barely notice it on the side). The bowl is actually made of plastic so it can wear out and crack after a few years. The wash cycle is noisy as well. It becomes disturbing when you have people over an you hear it in the background.
