Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T77

Good – Great camera, although I thought photo quality would be a bit better but then again this camera is very different to the one I originally used. I find it's great for close up photos but if you want to use zoom and take a photo of something in the distance, it's not very good. Although I don't really take long distance photos so it's the perfect camera for what I want to use it for. Then again, if you're thinking of buying this model (or the newer, replacement one the DSCT90 with more mega pixels of 12.1) try it out before you buy it to ensure it achieves the photo quality you want. Large touch screen, compact design, love the features especially: adding starburst effects on photos, intelligent scene recognition and face detection so unlike my old 3 mega pixel Konika Minolta I was using I spend less time editing, cropping, brightening, sharpening my photos on my computer. I bought the pink model the dsct77p and love the colour as it matches my phone and wallet! The zoom is hard to get used to, battery life doesn't seem to last very long and when taking photos without flash it's very sensitive as photos end up blurry - I recommend a tripod if flash is off
Excellent – I used this camera extensively on a recent trip with great results on scenery portraits closeups of flowers (6 inches). The twilight feature allows inside shots without flash to have much more detail and no reflection from shiny objects. Its size allows you to carry it on your belt where it is readily available for quick shots but is not burdensome to have on hand. Easy to carry the double click shutter focus is brilliant making distance shots or very closeup photos of great quality. The twilight feature enables photos in semi dark to be taken without flash with great results.A truly great camera for all uses. Movies are a little jumpy and wind affects sound.
Terrible – I have spoken to sony after taking my camera back twice. They have said that they have no record of my camera ever being sent to them. Anyway they told me that i now have to send my camera to a technician place in Seven Hills which is about 30 minutes from where i live. Why should i have to do the run around when a faulty camera is not my fault. The fault is sony. Sony do have a good reputation but i think there reputation is wearing thin. I am quite disappointed in my camera, and the company itself. As previously mentioned As previously mentioned
