happy. it does what it says – Really happy with this. It provides exactly what it states in the brochure. Whilst the instruction manual was a little hard to understand, the product itself is excellent all promises kept instruction manual could be better
Terrible – This is not something I recommend at all. It may not be for sale anymore, possibly outdated, but if it is or you find a second hand one don't buy it! It was about $400 new, and we just had problem after problem with it. It took ages to start up. Some of the buttons stopped working. We thought there was a problem with our TV antenna but it was just this product. Definitely stay away from this. The TV was better than it was before. This only worked occasionally, we have had problems with resetting it and trying to figure out the code after it was disconnected (my husband had to go on the forums to figure it out). Terrible reception compared to the one we replaced it with.
Terrible – I'm a big sony fan, but these units are the worst electrical product I have purchased - EVER.I would stongly recommend against buying this product. Hold signals well I've had two units that have both completely failed. Forever!Otherthan that, crazy gremlins used to appear all the time. Channels popped up which were programmed out etc. Always had to re program both units. Both just locked up and stopped working completely - afer 14 months.
Bad – This unit should be an embarassment to Sony. Clearly others have had similar problems and now we can buy much cheaper reliable units I cannot justify spending the money on repairing yet again this expensive ($900) unreliable piece of junk. Share remote for STB and Sony TV Failed twice in 4 years. Very expensive to buy and also to repair. Unreliable, dropped channels including favourites
