Bought it new, did not last long ☹️ – Sounds great when it worked. One day it suddenly would not power on. Disappointed the use I got out of it for the price I paid for it new. Would not recommend. Show details

Cheap nasty build – I was given on to repair and once I started to pull off the plastic covers, it was clear, this is cheap, Chinese rubbish was designed never to be opened. Glued in components and the cheapest amp. Running under rated speakers. Cable input shattered. and Bluetooth not working. Sony have let themselves down.

Loud, good quality sound! – We purchased this speaker from Bing Lee approximately three years ago. Since then it's performed every single time I have switched it on. Firstly the good points: The sound is really very good; loud and clear, no vibrations. The size is large, I feel like I have a quality product. It looks good (I have the red one). The negative: The only way… Read more

to turn the flashing strobe lights off is to use the remote control (other than taking it apart and disconnecting of course).

Cheap – I had this speaker for less than two months, using it a total of 6 times and on the sixth time i was listening to my playlist and it suddenly cut off... I walked into the living room and the power was off, i tried all the troubleshooting things but it honestly bleew a fuse or something. It would cost more money to get it looked at or repaired than… Read more

i actually paid for it. Therefore, i wasted 200$ on this awful speaker. The year warranty didn't cover it either which was part of the reason i bought it. The fine print basically voids EVERYTHING that is said in the warranty. THAT'S SONY. Best of luck.

Poor build – The speaker lives in my kitchen, i pulled the power cable out and where u put the power cable in the speaker it fell through into the speaker. Only had the speaker 7 months. Sent back to sony to be fixed but they won't fix it and tell me I've damaged it. For a £200 speaker I don't think that's acceptable and this shouldn't have happened.  Show details

Very Good speaker – I bought this one in a good deal [ 255 Australian dollars] on eBay [ 15% off] , Australia in June 2017 with an online retailer. Overall a very good speaker at this price point and very hard to beat it. Good clear sound even during deep bass. Its really loud [ at full volume - 470 Watts ] and might get you in trouble with your neighbors if you are… Read more ·  1

living in apartment unit. Sound doesn't distort even during high volume like the other speakers in competition. Easy to connect/control [ song or volume or adjustments] via any sound source either via bluetooth, attached usb or with sony phone/ipad app. Good party lights. If you really wanted more crazy volume in a big party room you need to attach this with other similar speakers. Few professional audiophiles or stereo devotees [ Sonos, Bose, ELAC B6 lovers ie you have to at least spend > 500 Aussi dollars to get these ] might not love this as its meant for party, normal household, kids, students and most of general/common people out there. Lack of display is a negative point especially if you are playing songs from a usb source. But folder/individual song jump features can enable you to find the particular song soon. Also it woudnt be good for home theater etc. Strongly recommend this product.

Great product, easy to use, lighting effect is fun – For about double the price of those small portable battery speakers, this full powered (wall plug) blue-tooth speaker is great. Sound is good enough to fill a large room and for parties. Sure its not sound perfection for an audiophile, but the sound quality and bass is very good indeed. Entire family uses it to listen to songs on Spotify, they love it. Very happy with this purchase.  Show details

Very Impressed – I been chasing a speaker for a while now, and i got this one for my 30th birthday, the NCF feature is fantastic makes connecting phones so easily, its so loud and its very stylish with its matte black finish, it doesn't collect dust and i love the lights and how they go with the music, but there is also a switch where you can turn them off... i… Read more
