Sony Service – If you live on the central coast and your thinking of purchasing a Sony Handy Cam, be aware that Sony Australia do not have any Authorised Service Centre's on the Central Coast of NSW. So your cost for servicing will be higher than other models. Sony only offer 12mths warranty and no service centres on central coast. Great little Camera! – I purchased from JB HiFi for $390. For that price, it's a brilliant little camera. It can fit into your pocket, it's compact and easy to use. Also haven't read instructions but so easy to work out how to use projector (which is brilliant!!!). Considering it's light weight, so easy to keep still. The zoom is VERY GOOD!! Overall, one happy buyer. Easy to use, good zoom, light weight

Very simple to use. The Projector is a big hit with the kids – Easy to use, ( I haven't actually read the instructions yet, but managed to film my daughters 3rd birthday and load the SD card). The projector function is a big hit with the kids. Can playback images onto wall or ceiling immediately after recording. Records onto SD card. Only down side is unlike recording onto tapes ( like my old Sony) there's no continuity of shots, so will have to use software to do this on computer. For the price it's a great camera. Inexpensive, long record time looks a bit plastic, worried the open/close button on the lens is a bit flimsy
