Good – This is an attractive looking product, which looks nice on your bedside table. It also has a dual alarm setting, so you won’t ever miss your first wake up call. Good clock radio with iPod or iPhone docking station. The beauty of that is you can listen to all your favourites songs on demand, and you can also charge your iPhone / iPod while you are… Read more · 1
at it. Good size and quality of speakers as well. As others have described, the LCD display is quite bright. The unit comes with a small remote control, which I use to place over the LCD display to block the light out. It just means if you wake up in the middle of the night and want to know waht time it is, you need to pick up the remote again to check the time.
OK – I think this was on sale because it's being replaced with a newer model. The controls at the top are very inconvenient but luckily the remote does a good job. It is quite simple to set up, but it seems like the buttons could be simplified as there are so many buttons! Overall it is a good dock for the price. Good sound, easy to use. Very bright at it's dimmest setting, so it's almost useless as an alarm clock. We have to cover it at night so that it doesn't light up the whole room.
Good – Other reviews have complained about the brightness of this dock's display - since I didn't buy it as an alarm clock this hasn't been a problem for me. I bought this one duringa promo where you got a free Sony ICFCD3IP iPod Dock CD Clock Radio as well which I love - both for $189 or so. Bargain! I used this unit to replace my old hi-fi system. the digitally tuned radio as I always find analog tunings to be pretty poor at picking up the station; Compact and looks pretty good; Sound is not bad (as long as you're not an audiophile but if you are you're probably not into MP3 players anyway); Can plug other brands of MP3 player into the back with the cord supplied although it won't look as swish as an IPOD I can't work out how to stop it from the displaying the alarm setting when the alarm isn't actually switched on - this looks a bit strange.
Brilliant sounding device, Fantastic Digital Radio – Love the digitally tuned radio has great sound and so many stations to choose from. Setting it up was fairly simple. However instructions could be a bit more explanatory as I don't know how to turn on and off the device without the remote. Great looks, great design. Very Happy with this purchase, would buy it again! Awesome Digitial Radio, Love… Read more
listening to the 80's channel. A bit Expensive but paying for quality and the sony name Dont know how to turn on and off the device without the remote.
Terrible – Absolutely pointless as an alarm clock. We bought it to replace an el-cheapo we bought years ago. Setup was quick an easy so out to the bin with the old one...only to discover the only way to sleep was to cover up the new Sony "alarm clock" with a thick woolen sock. Contacted Sony to see if they could offer any suggestions and was told that there… Read more
is no alternative for this "feature". Looks and sounds ok. Like the fact it has 2 alarms with option to use the radio or ipod/iphone. The clock is very bright even at the dimmest setting which needs to be covered, therefore defeating the purpose of having a clock next to the bed.
Good – I thought that it was a pretty good alarm clock. Loved how the Ipod docks onto it. Setup was easy and quick. However I think they needed to have the light dimmed a bit more....quite bright when it is on your bedside table. I would recommend this product to anyone needing an alarm clock. It does what it's meant to do - wake me up! looks pretty… Read more
good. Love the fact that you can put your ipod on it. Great sound from it and is very easy to use. From a well known and trusted brand. Pretty bright light comes from it so not sure why they did that.
