I purchased these leggings for my vascular veins. The product is not made well. There’s a seam that goes right across your bum which is extremely unflattering as well as uncomfortable. The sizing doesn’t actually fit even when you follow their… Read more

Follow-up · The company never helped me. They won’t pay for shipping the product back when there is no description stating the seam goes through your bum and doesn’t fit as advertised
Worth the investment – I have two pairs of the recovery pants in leggings and shorts and I think they are amazing! I purchased them after my second c section and the difference in recovery between my 1st and 2nd c section was huge. I have a muscle separation and hernia and the leggings really help hold everything in and bring my muscles back together. I find it much… Read more
easier to get around while wearing them and notice I am much more mobile with them on. 2nd baby I wore them daily from 1 week postpartum. I have just had my third c section and started wearing them after 3 days. Looking back at photos, my stomach at 1 week postpartum looks like it did at 3 weeks postpartum previously and my belly button is slowly going back inside! I’m surprised by the poor reviews here and assume most are referring to the pregnancy shorts (I haven’t tried them) or purchasing the wrong size as my leggings definitely don’t fall down or rub on my incision. The only downside is that they aren’t very nice looking with the crotch panel so I usually don’t wear the leggings out of the house. The shorts can be worn under other clothing.
I wanted to love these compression pregnancy pants that I purchased to help my vulva varicosities. I loved them for a week and found they were so helpful with my pains. Unfortunately the over the bump fabric is very thin and they have torn in multiple places. I still find the compression and support to be really beneficial but I do have to wear… Read more
long shirts and jumpers to cover the torn fabric areas. I emailed the company to ask what options I have. They said they were happy to send a replacement provided I cut up my existing pair and send photos of them. I advised I find that quite wasteful given the compression still works for me and asked can I just continue to use them, and have a replacement sent? They unfortunately said the only option was either repurchase a new pair with a 20% discount, or cut mine up and await a replacement. I’ve decided to send them back for a full refund as I found the customer service really poor and given I spent $200 on the pants, I’d expect them to remain in near perfect condition for at least a few months but to see them torn up in multiple places after just a week of wear, is off putting. Additionally- the representative accused me of having damaged them myself with my “long fingernails”…. I don’t even have fingernails as I am a potter and have a toddler so have multiple reasons to keep my nails filed short. That kind of response just makes me feel very differently about the company as a whole.

Very Supportive Shorts Postpartum – The SRC shorts are perfect and so supportive, I notice some discomfort in my abdomen when I am not wearing them. I purchased the champagne and wear them under my clothes. The customer service I received was excellent, I had to exchange the size as it was not quite right. They were very prompt in their responses and in sending out the new pair,… Read more
thank you. I would recommend this company and product to all mamas, I wish I had them when I had my first baby.
You need to buy this (if you’ve just given birth) – Femme-Eze ice / heat pack These triangular shaped ice packs are amazing. So good for post (vaginal) birth recovery. The cotton covers are so handy too. I would highly recommend these and I will now purchase for any new Mum I know.
Yes expensive but personally worth it for me – I used these for both my babies and they were seriously a godsend. You have to make sure you purchase the right size for you - they should be tight and not slip down. My diastasis recti healed quicker with these compared to what my physio advised had I not used them. The support they offer (I had vaginal labour both times) post birth made me feel confident my insides weren't going to fall out. Yes expensive but personally worth it for me. Show details

Can’t breath – Had a baby few weeks ago and everyone told me to get the SRC shorts...I hate them. Can barely breath in them and there’s stitching on the shorts right where my csection is and it digs into it every time I wear them. Also they’re really difficult to put on. Last thing you need after a c-section is to be uncomfortable. I’m just wearing the belly band the Physio gave me from hospital, seems to do the trick!
Keeps falling down and cheap fabric – I purchased two pair with the social media deal that was around - size M, 6 months pregnant. What I found: * The crouch falls down, it's very annoying and really shouldn't happen. Walking just a few meters I was tugging them back up. I emailed and asked what I could do, they kindly sent out a replacement size S. But, same thing, just keeps… Read more
slipping down. I have many other brand leggins including Lorna Jane, Lululemon, Runny Bare and Body and this doesn't happen with any of those brands. * The sizing is off, I'm usually a size 10 and at 6 months pregnant their Size M was far to big. * The fabric is cheap! It's lycra, and it's not breathable. So don't plan on wearing them for more than an hour, on warm days, or if you plan on working up even a small sweat.
The discomfort was too much, my request for a refund was denied, so I have these tights now that I don't event think I could donate in good conscious.
I'm actually wondering if I've fallen for a facebook scam? My advice is, Running Bare maternity are really comfortable, but the most comfortable are Lululemon Align - just get a size or two bigger, like a second skin!
Two time customer – I have purchased two SRC pregnancy products. 1 x over the bump minis 1 x under the bump leggings After being diagnosed with vulval varicosities (google it...if you’re game) during my third pregnancy I was recommended to get a support garment. At 26 weeks I was excited to find these SRC products as they seemed well regarded and specifically… Read more
targeted vulva varicose veins (one of the few products to say this). The price is relatively high but worth it in my mind as this is a condition that can worsen throughout pregnancy resulting in discomfort and perhaps a compromised birth.
What I found: - The over the bump product was too tight on my bump. Website said the product does not have any compression over the belly, which is true but it does have a very tight, non adjustable band that (for me) sat just where my stomach was, which caused indigestion (as I didn’t have this condition before wearing the garment, and it decreased as soon as I took it off). The rest of the fit and support was fantastic though. Also they didn’t slip down or roll up. - Due to the indigestion I decided to invest in a second pair that was under the bump. I decided on leggings this time as they would give extra support and a preventive measure against varicose veins in my legs (as this can happen too following VV). Anyway, the fit is really bad. They keep falling down even with the adjusted waist band. Think ultra, ultra low waisted jeans style. Which unfortunately means there is no support for the VV which is why I purchase them in the first place.
Overall I’m not sure which is the worse...the indigestion or having no support. In the meantime I am out of pocket for not much benefit.
Would I recommend these products to support vulval varicosities? If I had the choice again I would just buy cheaper maternity active wear pants and wear a double maternity pad for the support (which lots of my reading into the condition recommends).
But I’m going to keep wearing the SRC minis as the pregnancy develops (now week 30) to help with support.
Edit: I’ve been wearing the over the bump with the top band folder down. Still very tight around the hips but does not cut into me as much as when pulled up high. Also with wear this so slowly stretch - which is good.
Second edit: I’ve been talking to the SRC customer service and we are looking into options, they are helpful.

Expensive way to get thrush – Paid $200 for these shorts and with postpartum hormones and after wearing them for ONE DAY I got thrush. Pretty expensive way to get a yeast infection, something which is very common postpartum. Couldnt get a refund either, so disappointmented. Show details
OK but expensive – I bought the post part I’m shorts after having a c section. They are comfortable and supportive. My only issue is the manufacturing of them. They thread on the seam on the waist band is unravelling. For the money I’d have expected better quality. Also now I am slimming down the waist band slides down throughout the day. I am now 6 weeks postpartum. Show details
A must have post pregnancy – I have used these shorts after my third baby and my recovery compared to my first two babies is incredible. I had a 6cm diastasis after my first two kids and it took months and months post partum to close. This time around with the shorts I am four weeks post partum and only have a 1cm gap! Would reckmmend to all
A must have for post pregnancy – Having delivered a 10 pound 6 baby and being quite small framed myself, I suffered quite a bit. I had a 3 finger separation in my abdominals and was quite sore in my pelvis. I had purchased the leggings at 37 weeks pregnant but wasn't able to put them on until 2 weeks post birth. Initially one as only able to wear them a couple of hours at a… Read more

Disappointed – I recently bought my SRC shorts at 32 weeks and have been disappointed. Being that they’re quite expensive I think it’s important to have all the info before purchasing. I bought them in hope they would support my pelvic instability (specifically SRJ issues). I have found no relief from my discomfort. I have worn these day and night and if… Read more

SRC Health Pregnancy Leggings – When I started to get pelvic pain my midwife recommended the compression shorts or leggings. first pair of pregnancy leggings, SRC have been extremely helpful in helping me find a solution. Not only exchanging the leggings for a different size but also put me in contact with a wonderful physiotherapist in my local area. My recommendation is, before you go and buy SRC leggings, please be measured by a physiotherapist and try on a pair. Purchasing them from a supplier without an experienced physio results in purchasing the wrong product. Thank you to SRC for assisting with my situation.
Not as great as they make out – I have tried these prenatal tights and couldn't wait to wear them. I was left very disappointed. I have the correct fit and measurements. They kept slipping down at the back. The material was synthetic feel and not at all breathable. The adjustable buttons at the side stuck out so you could not wear this underneath dresses or pants as promised. I… Read more
have now purchased 2xu maternity and at the same pricing are soooooo much better. Don't waste your money!!!
Love their swimsuits! – I have ordered three swimsuits from this company and I'm so in love with them!! The quality is so good and the fit is perfect! The best thing is that their prices are cheap. You can get a full set for under 20 dollars! Definitely will buy more in the future
Not bad but not a miracle product either – I bought these SRC pregnancy leggings for support in my pelvic area due to vulval variscosity in the third trimester. I bought them from a specialist medical clothing supply store that measure you for the correct size. I have been (trying) to wear them for about a week now. For $200 for a pair of these leggings, included in their 'technology' is… Read more
an adjustable elastic waist, much like what we mums buy for our toddler kiddies from places like a Target and Best and Less. The lady at the medical supply clothing store seemed to think this was a brilliant idea for the pants so that they can be adjusted to suit all manner of body types. However, I've just been back to the store today because, as it turns out, she gave me an incorrect measurement and size. It seems she may have put too much faith in the adjustable waist band, and she gave me a size too large. Due to this, the elastic in the hem line kept on doubling over and cutting painfully into my stomach. The next size down feels much more comfortable to me and so far has not been doubling over- perhaps because it hasn't had to have been dramatically tightened and pulled in just to fit me.
In summary, my advice and feedback is, even if you get these pants from a specialist shop where they measure you, make sure they have really given you the right size. Also, the adjustable waist is actually a negative point of these pants in my opinion - for specialist maternity support wear that you need to be measured for, they should just fit because they are well made with a wide range of suitable sizes - not because they have inferior quality adjustable waists like kids' pants from chain stores- especially for the price of these support wear!
Apart from that, they do offer support but not the almost miraculous effect that seems to be promoted in their advertising.
A bit tight at first but then wearable after a few days, then uncomfortable as seam is on top of c s – I had high hopes for these recovery shorts. I tried them on 2 days after c section delivery and they were far too tight and hard to pull up. I wore tubie grip in the meantime. Tried again 7 days after and I found them relatively easy to pull up but didn't really feel like they were compressing much. Main issue with them now is why on earth… Read more
would they put a seam sight where a c section scar is and if they are specifically developed for post pregnancy for both natural AND c section delivery it makes no sense at all! The seam literally rubs on my wound. I wouldn't recommend these to pregnant ladies who need c sections as the price is quite high given they will irritate half of women who have babies!
Oh So Tight – The measurements are based on your hip measurement, yet they go up to and over your ribs. The problem is my rib cage is wider so i find they are constantly digging into my ribs making it difficult to breathe. Ive only been wearing them a few days (5mths post c section - on physio advice), they are compressing everywhere as they are meant to,… Read more
and they force you to have good posture while sitting or they dig in a bit. The bump from muscle separation is not as obvious while i wear them - instead i just have a general roundness.
For muscle separation I find they are best put on while lying down (pull up and over bum then lie down to pull it over tummy). That way they're put on without your innards already through the muscles, so have a better chance of doing their job.
I agree with other comments that they will be crap to wear come summer, but for now with our (25oC winter) they are bearable to wear all day.
PREGNANCY leggings: great for knee pain, but butt section rides down – Sorry if anyone is annoyed this is about the Pregnancy & not Recovery version, but there was not a section for the Pregnancy ones. I specifically needed the leggings for my knee pain resulting from an SI-joint effecting the tendons around the knee. The compression from pelvis through to knees are great. The knee ache reduces, & ROM increases… Read more
with the pants on, allowing me to work through my 38th week, which is brilliant. Pants & long skirts still look fine with the shiny black leggings seen to the ankle - or you can push them up, but as i am 38wks, i have puffy ankles so looks like they cut in & i prefer to not pull them up myself. The autumn weather helps not feeling hot in them.
However, as i measured at 122cm, i got the XXL (it's the starting number for that size, which is the highest you can go), & i find the waistband incredibly tight .. so i wear it under my belly, as otherwise it really digs in & the baby goes bananas if i have it any higher, & i can't sit in them cutting into my tummy anyway. As a result of pushing the front down under my belly to sit on the bone (otherwise too painful higher), the backside falls down as i get up, walk, or move. A little annoying repeatedly hitching up my pants (when i feel i can in public), or I continue walking with them moving down my butt (if i can't pull them up in public) ... but totally worth the longevity of my knee. I just wish the front & back sat as high as it did on the lady in the picture on the SRC health website.
awful – I had purchased this shorts after a physiotehrapist 's recommendation. I have tried wearing it after 3 days post partum (natural delivery with episiotomy). It was rubbing on the wound. So I tried again few days later, again was awfully uncomfortable so took it off. Tried again last night, now I have pain in left rectal muscles n front areas as… Read more

Disappointed – I bought my SRC Recovery Shorts post c-section last year upon a high recommendation from a physio. They were very expensive! However, I had high hopes. Unfortunately, I found them hot, cumbersome and made my tummy stick out into a pot. They are difficult to pull up and there is just too much of them. They go all the way from just above the knee to… Read more
under your boobs, In any sort of warm/hot weather they are just too much. I found I preferred to keep my wound fresh and in the open air as much as possible. I've worn them for three days recently post c-section again, but gone ahead and bought a Belly Bandit instead. I'll be selling my SRC shorts online.
Mixed Feelings – At the start I loved these shorts but then I started to see a few flaws in them. The shorts are great for post recovery back and tummy support I did find them difficult to put on initially I did notice they have this seam that goes over the exact spot my scar is. (Why you have a seam there is beyond me) Unfortunately 4 months on with… Read more
continued wear it rubbed and rubbed on my scar causing it to become infected and burst open. Now I am on anti-biotics to clear it all up.
They are also not very suitable for people with folliculitis (boils and sweat rashes) as they don't really breathe much and every time I wear them a new breakout appears.
I would have loved to have worn them everyday but sadly they cause too many other problems for me.
Good for Pain, but Not for Reducing the Stomach – I bought these 6 weeks after birth as my back was quite wobbly and was always sore. They worked a treat for that; they really did provide support, especially in the adjustment to carrying around a baby everywhere. My low score is because they are advertised in so many places to reduce the size of the post-pregnancy stomach. There's heaps of… Read more
anecdotes to support this too. However, that's because all the anecdotes are for when they're worn immediately after the birth (or a few days afterwards) for 2 months. Of course over the first 2 months, the stomach starts recovering; mine did without the shorts before I bought them.
I wore them and did the Pilates as recommended, however my stomach barely improved. Why? Because it was already outside of that time period. I stopped wearing them 3 months later without much of a change at all in the stomach, but my back was better, and only gradually improved my stomach after I stopped breastfeeding with diet and exercise. My stomach only looked smaller while I wore them because it's the same as shape wear underwear; it holds it in. All the anecdotes you read are purely coincidental; those people were going to get that stomach by doing the Pilates they recommended and time, not the stomach.
So if you had a sore back like me, definitely consider these. It did work for that. However, if you're after recovery of the stomach, they won't help. Your body went through a gigantic change! Give yourself time just to recover and relax. Don't worry about the stomach; you birthed a child, you're amazing as you are.
SRC Recovery Shorts are great for post birth recovery and the customer service is excellent – After giving birth I felt like my abdominal muscles were jelly and my back ached. seam around the waist that didn't affect the compression but I followed up anyway as I felt that such faults should not occur in an expensive medical product. I called SRC and their customer service was fantastic!! They were polite and dealt with the problem perfectly by sending me a new pair immediately via express post with a pre-paid envelope for me to return the faulty pair so that they could address the problem with the manufacturer. They even sent me a thank you email once they received the returned pair..
Overall I'm very impressed with this product and the customer service support.
A good start! – I have ordered the recovery and sport shorts as I thought they triggered different steps of the recovery and I am very satisfied of the results. I haven't put on much weight during my pregnancy, but I believe that it made a difference in my quick weight/fluids loss and ability to move comfortably after a c-section. pregnancy shorts 3 days after giving birth and it helped me losing the fluids within the first 2 - 3 weeks. I then found that the pregnancy shorts were not applying enough pressure on my stomach and opted for the sport shorts. I now find that it seems to help my abdominal muscles to get back together in addition of making my stomach leaner. They are very comfortable to wear and the guidelines on the website are helpful to choose the correct size.
Lastly, I bought them thinking they were an investment for further pregnancies, but since I wore them every day for few weeks they are already pilling and I am not sure if I'll be able to re-use them. The company also charges $13 for shipping but the shorts do not arrive in boxes as demonstrated on the website so I didn't find the shipping price justified and my private health insurance would not give any rebate on them either. The overall cost was the only downside to me. Good quality. Expensive.
Excellent – I have been wearing the SRC pregnancy shorts for about 6wks now. I started wearing them because I'm on my feet all day for work and was getting terrible back pain. Helped with vulva veins – Well, I guess the heading of my review says it all. I experienced in my third pregnancy vulva veins and this brought lots of aches in the groin area. 6 weeks, but helped immensely with pressure and protecting my lower back while feeding and lifting baby in and out of cot, car and pram. I do think these shorts are slightly over-priced, but as there are not many other options out there, the choices are limited, so a bitter / sweet purchase. Good fabric and fit. Washed well and comfortable. Over-priced
Totally recommend – I attended a Physio run workshop about pelvic floor health where the SRC range was recommended. I then purchased the SRC sports leggings for after my first baby. They gave me the support I needed and made me feel comfortable and confident when wearing them. I have recommended these to all my friends, especially new mothers. good quality, and they don't fade.
A lifetime investment – As a runner, I bought the recovery shorts to ensure that I would be able to return to running not only quickly post baby but also to ensure that my pelvic and core muscles would be able to strengthen and return as close as possible to their pre baby disposition. Secondly, the recovery shorts enabled me to return to running injury free in the short and long term. Results straight away. Expensive but worth the money
Amazing for post baby recovery – I had a c-section with my first baby & read about SRC recovery shorts on a celeb blog & glad I did! These are amazing ..
