I only discovered where it had been left the following day when I went up to the shed. Upon opening the package, I found moisture droplets on the sealed internal packaging of printer components. I now have to hope that a professional-grade photo printer has not suffered any moisture-related damage because of a completely avoidable delivery decision.
What makes this even more frustrating is that I was home. There was no need to leave a high-value electronic item exposed to the weather. A simple knock on the door would have solved the problem.
Customers pay for parcels to be delivered safely, not dumped in the nearest convenient location during a rainstorm. The complete lack of care, judgement and professionalism shown here is astonishing.
I have photographs of where the printer was left and the moisture found inside the packaging. The photos speak for themselves.
StarTrack has turned what should have been an exciting delivery into a situation where I am now concerned about the condition and long-term reliability of a brand-new $1,000 printer.

"TerryWhite in writing confirms the package was not tampered with at their end, making StarTrack's custody the only point where the theft could have occurred. StarTrack closing the investigation with just GPS data and a "Proof of Delivery" is not adequate given those facts."

Absolutely appalling and deeply disturbing experience with StarTrack. A parcel containing my prescribed medication (medical marijuana) seems to have been tampered with while in StarTrack’s care. the item was removed, then the box was poorly resealed with multiple layers of sticky tape to make it appear untouched.
I have since obtained CCTV footage from the pharmacy confirming that both prescribed items were packed into the parcel before dispatch, and that the box was originally sealed with a single strip of sticky tape around the edges. When I received it, the box had clearly been interfered with - multiple layers of tape had been added, the tape was bubbled, folded, and carelessly reapplied, and it was obvious the parcel had been opened and tampered with after leaving the pharmacy.
What is even more concerning is StarTrack’s complete refusal to take any accountability for the situation. Rather than investigate this properly, they immediately attempted to shift blame to my local post office, despite the fact the parcel was simply sitting there awaiting collection after already passing through StarTrack’s handling network.
A police report has been filed.
Unfortunately, StarTrack once again failed to deliver as scheduled. The delivery did not occur on the 17th. Online tracking was then updated to show delivery on 19 February, which again did not happen.
Tracking information became inconsistent and contradictory. The website showed the consignment returning to a distribution centre, while phone support advised it was “awaiting instructions from the sender”. This made it unclear where the item actually was or when delivery might occur.
Despite being the recipient, I was ultimately required to contact StarTrack myself and arrange a pickup from their facility, and was then advised this would take an additional business day to organise. At that point, the courier had failed twice to deliver as scheduled and then shifted the administrative burden onto the customer.
This experience is not isolated. We regularly experience failed or missed deliveries from StarTrack at this address, while other delivery companies consistently manage to deliver without issue. The recurring nature of these failures suggests a broader reliability and process problem rather than a one‑off incident.
For a paid delivery service, this level of execution and communication is unacceptable, particularly for large or high‑value consignments. Based on repeated experience, I would avoid retailers that use StarTrack for delivery.

I live near Townsville and can’t even tell you how many times the sorting centre in Sydney have sent my packages to Cairns, only for Cairns to have to send it down to Brisbane so it can make its way back to Townsville. I paid an extra $20 for same day delivery, I am extremely disappointed as it is my third day waiting and still no order , I rang the star track customer service team 3 times who said they will get it sent today and I will get updates and yet still no update on my order. Repeated delivery failures involving essential medication. The delivery scheduled for last Friday was falsely recorded as “unattended” despite no delivery attempt being made. accurately type in the tracking number listed on the SMS, so they incorrectly told me it was delivered to an interstate address. A complete debacle from Star Track & Aust Post, as per usual.

these id*ots and never showed. Just as I was about to leave, no warning prior, they “attempted” and refused to let another person at the house sign for the package. On top, wasn’t delivered until 1:40pm on the Monday.

delivery with tracking (medication) as they told me the tracking we see is different then what they see. If you are a business I recommend using a company with a rating higher than 1 star. After 29 hours got an update but now they’ve changed the expected date!
I purchased goods was informed that due to insufficient delivery address the goods could not be delivered I went back to supplier provided the appropriate details for the purchase. Pack and Send Sydney used Startrack to deliver nine cardboard boxes to Springfield QLD 4300, two of which contained expensive guitars. all boxes, but the driver didn't contact me. A neighbour spotted the boxes and was concerned for theft or rain damage. She secured the boxes. This is unprofessional and reckless behaviour by the driver. Please do not use this company to move valuable items. Third world service.

business day and I have contacted StarTrack directly and they cannot (at this stage at least) confirm the status of the delivery, basically meaning they do not know where it is. I requested I travel to a depot to collect it as I am in need of the product but I was told wait until they can confirm its status. This courier company cannot be trusted to deliver important priority packages.
ETA I have just received a phone call from StarTrack Customer Service who have advised me the package is on board for delivery this afternoon. Will provide further update if it arrives.
ETA they didn't deliver yesterday either, the second consecutive day of "It's Arriving Today". Worse they picked up the package at my local PO for delivery just a 3 to 5 minute drive away. This meant I could not just drive up and collect it and they couldn't be bothered delivering it. Another day no delivery though two days in a row "It's Arriving Today". Apparently it is coming today.
Follow-up · Update: Yes they finally delivered the package after me raising the absurd circumstances (see second ETA above) with the customer service officer.
They ate useless. Don't wait more then 30 seconds for ubto answers the door when they actually bother to knock. The website needs to be clear when creating the accounts, 3 options given is confusing should limit to one. When doing trace, the expected delivery should be removed if Startrack has not received the item this causes another confusion. The customer centre rep was just detached. Their NPS survey is only another problem after giving the negative feedback the call was terminated so how does Startrack improve? Show details
DONT USE STARTRACK!!! worst experience ever got no notifications when being delivered ,they never followed delivery instructions so they took delivery back to depot when instructions said leave it if no one one home .Then they couldn't find it in there depot I was told its to early to call them for information it was 9 15 am .They are the worst I really would highly recommend you use every other company and never go near this place EVER !! Our local delivery driver is cool but the service he's working for is absolutely pathetic. We pay extra for express delivery yet have to wait three days. Once our parcel was sent from Qld to WA when we only live a 7 hour drive north from the sender! On multiple occasions our deliveries have been late. Why should pay extra if we only getting the standard service? Since it's medication being sent, Star Track need to get their trash together!!! Show details
