FANTASTIC – This is the best stroller and I am very disappointed it is no longer in stock. It is smooth, easy to steer, easy to fold, comes with everything, absolutely love the reverse handle and adjustable foot rest. Unlike a lot of other strollers the peek-a-boo window is clear so you can actually see your baby. The only down side is from what I have read… Read more

and feedback from the manufacturer it is not compatible with any capsules (which is pretty strange considering the eclipse and acclaim and much the same and both compatible with capsules). I also wish steelcraft had made a twin version as it is that great. almost everything only downside is it isn't compatible with a capsule

Great for newborns – This pram is excellant if on a budget, and when the baby is a newborn as the reverse handle option allows your baby to face you. Steelcraft also make a number of great accessories such as rain cover, mesh option for better breathability in warmer weather, feet cover. It is also a reasonably light pram for its size, and folds well. However, this… Read more

is where the positives end for me. I find this pram is extremely clunky and heavy, and if going 'off road' it is alot of hard work to steer. The storage space when in full recline is almost nil, and very difficult to get anything in or out of the basket if the baby is in and reclining. I also find it very hard to push the pram backwards and forwards if trying to settle baby, as they only work in one direction depending on the position of the handle. An excellant pram for a newborn, but I will now be buying a stroller for increased ease of transporting! inexpensive, reverse option very heavy and clunky. very little storage available

Okay Pram if on a Budget – I loved this pram whilst my daughter was a newborn. I loved that you could reverse the handles so I could see her but once she got older and I reversed the handle to be the other way, the pram was a bit of a struggle to push. When I used it for my 2 year old niece, it was almost impossible to steer. I think maybe the wheels just need some… Read more

loosening up but we have since bought a new pram and we will keep this one as a backup. Reverse Handle Difficult to Steer & needs more recline levels.

Love the top half, not a fan of the bottom! – Mixed feelings on this pram. I love the top half but find that it drives like a tank. Not a fan of the double wheels particularly if you are rocking bub to sleep. The wheels don't like going back and forth even when locked. I do a lot of road walking on gravel and bitumen, so don't feel this was designed for long distance. On "good" footpaths and… Read more

inside it isn't too bad. Storage basket and bag on rear, easy to adjust, padding, full recline, reversible handle. Double wheels are clumsy and very heavy to push long distances.

Love it! – Love this pram, the reverse handle is a feature I wanted in a pram & I love walking & seeing bub's smiling face :-) The pram looks heaps comfy with heaps of padding for bub, only a few downfalls & they are more me being picky with the underneath storage basket not easily accessible for larger items - especially when bub is asleep in lying down… Read more

position, only other thing which would have come in handy is a drink tray / spot, but over all it's a great pram, would highly recommend. Cheap, reliable, looks great, reverse handle bar, several options of access to the underneath storage basket (for small items only) It doesn't have the biggest of underneath storage baskets & it's not easy to get to when bub is lying down in the pram & the wheels are a little close together so I tend to kick them a lot when I walk

Perfect pram, looks expensive! Great to maneuver – I loved seeing my newborn baby. Love how expensive it looks and how good quality everything is to do with it.I love this pram!!!! Love everything about it. Looks great ,steers easy, alot of space for $349 is cheap for great pram. I love how wheels swivel and I can lock them in place for different terrains. Brilliant pram. Don't know of any,and I've gotten heaps mums to copy me at mothers group. Brilliant pram

Alright for the money – overall I am not too happy, But for the money its it alright, the pram has to be put down in certain stages, there are only set stages for the seat to recline, wheels wobbles like mad its not funny, got caught in the rain once done a quick jog a few yards and I thought wheels were going to break the wobbled like crazy, but for $300 you get what… Read more

you pay for, but if you look around and got time to wait for sales you can probably get a better pram on sale, wish I done that. Baby appears to be comfy, good foot muff cover, can fit a baby capsule in there, although not recommended it is secure. is p wheels wobble, too close together you kick them, has to be put down in certain sequence, wheel lock when putting in & out of boot, doesn't go over grass and uneven surface well, seat only rest at cerain points, needs to be more flexible, flu net thing has huge gaps so not even worth whilst putting in on.

Easy to use. Love the reversible handle – We wanted a pram that had a reversible handle as we weren't too keen on the modern prams where you have to take out the whole seat to change the way the baby is facing. We managed to get this one second hand for a really good price and still in fantastic condition and working order. It has been a great pram. Very easy to fold and assemble… Read more

without too many parts to take off like the more modern pram designs. I was even able to take the fabric off (which was held on with press-studs and some screws) and was able to wash all the lining in the washing machine.

The wheels are a little wobbly and do not do so well at high speeds and on rough terrain, but I have been able to take it on grass etc. with little difficulty.

It does annoy me that there is a gap between the back-rest and the hood where wind blows in and the fly net does not cover the whole , leaving a big space for bugs to fly in.

It also doesn't cope well with being wheeled backwards when you have the back wheels locked and the front wheels unlocked to swivel. The wheels buckle and you don't get very far. This makes backing up difficult. Cheap, easy to use, folded easily, can change the baby from facing forwards to backwards without taking them out of the pram, fully reclines, good sized sun shade wheels don't cope well on rough terrain and high speed, gap that allows wind to get in when in reclined position, fly screen doesn't cover whole pram, wheels don't work well when in locked position

Very tall handel – i love this pram as you can turn the handle around for when they are new born and and it has a really high handle witch with a really tall husband i had to hunt to find one were he was not leaning over so he does not even mind pushing it it has 3 seat positions and all wheels can lock and swivel which is excellent i am now using it for our second… Read more

Love it – I bought this pram as I wanted one where I could see bub. Bonus is that it collapses easily in one piece (unlike my previous pram which had to be pulled apart). It reclines far enough for bub to sleep and is easy to steer. At first I thought it was like a dodgy shopping trolley to steer as all four wheels spin around - then I accidentally… Read more

discovered the wheel lock function where each wheel can be individually locked into position. So depending on which way you have the handle facing you can lock the two back wheels to make steering MUCH easier. Having all four wheels unlocked can make navigating shopping centres etc much easier as it can spin 360 degrees in the one spot. Or you can lock all four wheels if you want to go on a walk over often uneven concrete. Only negatives are that as a very tall person when we go for a long walk I kick the wheels - steelcraft should just make the handle a little longer or have an option to lengthen the handle!Oh and the basket underneath can be difficult to access if bub is lying flat. But overall - you get what you pay for. It's cheap, reliable and I couldn't do without it! Reliable, inexpensive, lightweight Kick wheels if you're tall

Good – Overall this pram has been great for me. I predominately use the pram for going to the shops, going to restaurants and cafes, going to friend’s houses and for walks along the street or bike paths. It is certainly suited to these uses. On this basis I absolutely recommend it. However, if you intend to use the pram for long and vigorous walks or… Read more

jogging perhaps a three wheeler jogging stroller would be a more appropriate purchase.

I have used this pram from week one of my son's life. My son is now eight months old and I use it almost daily. I forsee that it will be used for another year or two! Excellent and versatile buy at just under $300. The reversible handle on this pram is fantastic. It was wonderful to be able to see my son when he was a newborn; and now he is able to face the world.

For me the other big positive is that the seat can lay flat. When my son was a newborn this was great, and now that he is bigger (8 months) it is excellent when he needs to have a sleep while we are out and about. The flat layback is also extremely handy for nappy changes where no other surfaces are available.

Finally, the other real positive it that the pram is quite narrow compared to many others on the market. I am able to fit through all doorways and supermarket checkouts. It is also relatively easy for me to weave through tables and chairs at most cafes and restaurants. Many of my friends who have ‘fancier’ (and more expensive) prams have a lot of trouble given the wheel base on their prams is so much wider than mine. The pram was somewhat difficult to fold at first, but once you do it a few times it becomes very easy. It also seems bulky when folded, notwithstanding this I do not find it hard to lift into the boot (but I have a big boot). My wheels have not wobbled, as some have described, and I jog a few hundred metres from time to time. However, when compared to my friend’s Mountain Buggy my Steelcraft Eden feels a little heavy to push and steer. Perhaps the aesthetics of the pram aren’t great … but it is all relative to price and features!

Good for a short time – I loved this when I first bought it purely because I could see my baby as I walked. After a little while it began to annoy me because it feels like you're driving a bus when going around corners. Also, I was continually kicking the wheels as I walked. If I needed to back the pram up for any reason the wheels splayed making it impossible. … Read more

However, it seemed to be quite comfortable for bub who fell happily to sleep many times on a walk. Good size shopping basket.

Will be investing in another sort of stroller now that bub is older. Inexpensive compared to other reverse-handle strollers, big basket, comfortable. Hard to steer around corners, kicking wheels when walking.

Good inexpensive pram – Love the reverse handle, there is plenty of basket space for basic grocery shopping. I never leave all 4 wheels unlocked as it does not steer in a straight line without the two front wheels locked in place. If you don't care about bells and whistles Steelcraft is a good, inexpensive brand that gets you from A to B and bub is comfortable. Inexpensive, sturdy

Good at start soon find flaws – It was good at the start however soon finding flaws. Mosquito net has big gaps. Very hard to maneuver one handed, hard to turn going around corners. I often find them standing in front of my pram expecting me to… Read more

move!! Don't like the back rest, only two positions. Hard to steer on all wheel drive goes sideways like a shopping trolley. Bad first purchase I got it for the reverse handel system. Purchased a big clip to put nappy bag on ok if baby is facing you. Not ok if baby is facing away, pram will tip backwards. Eek when I discovered this. Not good. And I'm currently looking at purchasing another pram. So glad this one was purchased on sale $179 not too much money wasted. Cheap ok first pram Cheap pram wheels splay when going backwards, hard to maneuver, gaps in mosquito netting, tips backwards when carrying something in outward child facing mode.

Great pram but needs a longer handle – We have been using this pram for nearly 6 months now. Its a sturdy, good looking pram but quite light. The infant insert is good and helped support my lil man while he was a newborn. We bought this pram over others because all 4 wheels are lockable or can go be left unlocked if you are going over rough or bumpy ground. We love how the handle… Read more

is reversible and you just lock the 2 wheels closest to the handle for good steering.

To give his pram 5 stars they would need to make the handle height adjustable or extendable. I am 5'8" and my hubbie is 5'9" and we kick the wheels all the time so have to take small steps. Great price, Tough fabric, 4WD, Reversible handle The handle is not long enough so we kick the wheels all the time.

Annoying to push – There are definately more Pros than Cons when it comes to this pram. However, the one con is perhaps more important than all the pros put together. Looks nice, comes with many accessories, reversible handle is great with newborns. A pain to push as you continually kick your feet on it when walking.

Would be perfect if not for 2 slight flaws – I have a bad back, so a lightweight pram was a must for me. I also wanted something that had a reverse handle, and was not a budget breaker. Enter the Steelcraft Eden. Don't let the $350 price tag fool you, it really is worth the cost, aside from two slight flaws; wheel base width and mosquito cover. If you are using this pram for extended periods… Read more ·  1

of time walking (not casual strolls at a mall), I wouldn't recommend it, unless you like walking one foot forward, the other to the side. The most annoying flaw is by far the wheel base width. Something I didn't pick up on when I was shopping around for a new pram, as the couple of steps you take with it in the shop don't give you a good idea as to how it will perform in the real world. The second sleight is the mosquito cover. Whoever designed it, didn't think it through very well. The cover itself is great, but could attach better to the pram. Once attached, there are several holes between the bottom of the netting and the base of the pram arm (where it attaches to), which means if you actually wanted to protect bubs from biting insects then you would not succeed. But, as with all things, we have the pros and cons and the pros certainly outweigh the cons! This pram is versatile. You can take it pretty much everywhere except off the beaten track, ie mountaineering, jogging, sand. It has heaps of storage space, is very easy to manoeuvre, and is easy to fold down. Regardless of what people say about 'having to lock the wheels' to fold, this is not the case. As long as the backrest is down and the handle is in the forward facing position, the wheels can be facing all sides and the pram will still collapse. At first the lock will not clip in place, especially if you have something in the pram ie shopping at the bottom or a lambskin or blankey on the backrest, but with frequent use the pram conforms to the user and will lock with ease. So if you want a great all rounder pram, this is the one for you! :) Reverse handle and lightweight at just over 7kgs, nice and roomy for bubs when fully reclined Space between wheels is too narrow, could do with 10cm more in wheel base width, as is kicked at alot when walking. Mosquito netting has several gaps so not the best thing if you actually want to protect bubs from biting insects.

Well priced, Good quality – I've been using my eden pram for the last 16 months since my baby was born. really well. Most of my friends have had to buy more than one pram by now and I'm still happy with mine. Not too expensive. Reverse handle system. Bub always looks pretty comfy in it. Fits into my pathetically small car boot! Tendency to kick the wheels when walking (though you get used to where to put your feet eventually!). Would have liked the handle to be extendable as I'm fairly tall. Doesn't push very easily over grass but now I'm just nit-picking!

OK – I don't think its fair to complain about the outdoor ability of this pram as it never pretends to compete with the three wheeler models. It is a good pram for indoor use and certainly has lots of added extras with the pockets, baskets and covers. tie to hold up the back on a 45 degree angle. For a reflux baby this is an absolute blessing. It only became redundant when I wanted to start going for longer walks outside. Nice looking pram. Allows you to reverse direction the bub faces which is great for newborns. Allows for multi level recline which is really important for babies that have reflux and can't lie flat. The bassinet options of other prams is not possible for reflux bubs. When all four wheels are unlocked and on flat ground it is really easy to steer and maneuver. The complicated process you need to follow just to fold the pram down to put in the boot. All wheels have to be locked in forward facing position, the handle has to be facing the right direction and the seat has to be fully reclined. The pram is bulky and heavy the lift and it took up all of my boot and I drive a four wheel drive.

Terrible – Good pram for people with strong backs, not tall parents, for walking in the parks, decline position is not perfect. Big bassinet, good for big babies not easy pram, hard to walk in the shopping center, very heavy pram, not good if you had a bad back, if you are talk you will not be able even walk

Bad – The sales rep told us that the Eden was identical to the Steelcraft Elite, just different colour and 1 or 2 other minor features, but overall, the same pram. wheels are close together so you will kick them to start with but you'll get used to that. The wheels do lock in place, depending in which way you are going, but this does not help the wobble or shakes if you are on even slightly rough terrain or if you are going fast, or even quickly. We took ours back and got a refund. Big pity really as othewise this pram is great. I hope they fix the wheel problem. Reverse handle was the big seller for me, I wanted baby to face me. The actual bassinet area in pram is quite big too and lays nice and flat. Great shade cover built in. What's with the wheels??!! If you walk faster than you would in a severely crowed shopping centre than this pram is NOT for you. If you walk on rough paths or patchy concrete paths, then this pram is NOT for you. If you need to walk on an incline, up or down, then this pram is NOT for you. If you are tall or have a long stride, then this pram is NOT for you!
