Poor design indeed! – You cannot completely remove the cloth component to allow easy washing! It was clearly designed with profit in mind and not the end user! The strange part is that the design allows you to completely remove the cloth components from the frame, but the metal rod through the canopy cover prevents you being able to machine wash or soak the fabric in a bucket.

Its like someone forgot to tell these guys that babies spew and crap everywhere and a spot clean just won't cut it sometimes.

washing – Hi does this come apart for machine washing? I have purchased a second hand one I want to wash before giving to someone else. Also I'm not sure what the spring loaded lever in the front is for. Do you have web or you tube page which demonstrates it's use? This looks like it will be a very useful rocker with different angles to have baby and be able to keep sun off outside.

Great deal! – I bought this rocker on sale so it was definitely value for money, although even when it's not in sale it's a good buy. I liked the colour as it was neutral and didn't stand out too much. I also liked the material as it is easy to wipe down as opposed to fabric options. I didn't think too much about the hood at the time of buying, but it has really come in useful. My baby comes outside to hang out washing etc and is well protected from the sun. We also take this to the lake as baby can sit comfortably and is restrained :-) I used the stationary motion when baby was starting solids. He ate in this until we had a high chair. Of corse the rocking motion was good when he was small to keep him content. The only small negative is the buckle is sometimes annoying as it slips out of the crotch strap. But I must say that was in the early days and I now have it completely sorted.

I would definitely recommend this as a very versatile rocker! The hood, material, toy bar, not too expensive Strap (but really not major at all)

Excellent – This bouncer is truly worth the money. It's very gender neutral so it's great for either sex. It has adjustable layback positions, and can be either set in rocking or stable mode. The toy bar can be pulled off so when you're baby is younger you don't have to negotiate putting them in with it in the way. However it can't be pulled apart so cleaning can be hard! Gorgeous and Soft Hard to clean

Excellent – the steelcraft enigma baby bouncer is very stable and safe for baby. the colour would suit either sex child. steelcraft is a great brand by britax and they give fantastic customer service and support. In saying all that i highly recommend this bouncer and all steelcraft items alike stylish looking and very comfortable for baby, great value for money. The bouncer adjusts positions which is really convenient. It suits as a bed when travelling (mainly when baby is under 3 months) gets quite hot in summer and if baby has any spills its a good idea to clean as soon as it happens because it gets hard to clean if its left.
