Non-Stick Quality

Second thoughts – Purchased my Stoneline 32cm wok at a Sydney home show in 2011. I rate it the best item of cookware I've ever bought. Initially, I occasionally used non stick spray oil but was advised this would deteriorate the non stick surface so discontinued the practice. Reading the reviews on this site I am now having second thoughts about purchasing… Read more

Guarantee is a farce – The pans were purchased in 2012 as s package deal over $600. They were used weekly and quickly showed signs of deterioration with pitting on the surfaces within the year of purchase. Recently finding the purchase receipt and after throwing away on Pan, I decided to claim on the one I’d kept- the company has the stock standard scripted watertight… Read more

response, stating “Please be advised the warranty for our cookware is valid for 1 year, however it has a 12 year guarantee. This guarantee covers workmanship defects and ensure the pans will be fit for the purpose of cooking for 12 years. General wear and tear, scratching and non-stick are not covered under this guarantee. Unfortunately this means we are unable to offer a refund or replacement in this case. Please find attached a copy of our warranty and guarantee outline. Our apologies for any inconvenience caused. Any further questions, queries or concerns please don’t hesitate to contact us.” Cop that unethical response for worthless cookware ! Don’t bother, you’re wasting your money. I love it!!! – Hi every one, I bought my pan about 10 years ago - use it constantly on a gas top stove or in an electric oven. It performs today as the first time I used it. I follow all the care and maintainence adivice. It has never been overheated or put in a dish washer. I would recommend it to any one. But from reading the comments I am very glad that I treat my pan according to the instructions.  Show details

Fantastic – I've had these pans before and found them to be fantastic. I see a lot of negative comments on here and I feel that these people are probably not using them as they should be used. Ie not having them on a high heat or putting them in the dishwasher etc if you look after these pans, they will last.  Show details

Dont overheat! – I wrote a review some time ago on this product and am still totally happy. Heres a heads-up though, if you use a high temperature like I did when we got a new stove top, they will burn and lose their nonstick. Luckily I only lost one pan..  Show details

Don’t waste your money on Stoneline – Purchased a lidded frypan 4 years ago from a country field day exhibit that claimed to be selling a quality European product. You’d think the price of $250 (a show special) would be reasonable for a frypan if it was to last for a long time. I used it for cooking meats mostly and noticed about 6 months ago it was losing heat. Admittedly I did raise… Read more

the temperature to stop steak from stewing, as you would! The non stick surface showed signs of deterioration with bumps and then a few small peeled spots occurred recently. Have stopped using this frypan as the coating transferred onto food while cooking. In my opinion the longevity of non stick pans is short (otherwise they wouldn’t keep making them.)

Rubbish – Was ok to start with. Now everything sticks. Bloody waste of money. It was sold to me as being the best thing since sliced bread was invented. Ok for a couple of months since then the surface slowly deteriated. Who takes responsibility for the warranty claims? I suppose it is like most warranties on worth the paper they are written on.  Show details

Non-stick worn off - terrible product – I bought 8-piece set, griddle pan and 32cm frying pan at shows and as many people have quoted the non-stick has come off the frying pans and griddle pans hence decided to complain and make a claim though the web site does not exist as stated by another user. This company needs to be held accountable for a poor product.  Show details

Not worth buying – I have to fully agree with anybody who found the pan handles totally inadequate for the size of the pan itself. Their designers should have realised that ONE SIZE never works. Each handle should have been designed to suit the size of the product. I eventually tried araldite and sadly even that failed to do the trick. This was sad because the… Read more

actual product was not bad at all.

However in total frustration I just Dumped mine.

By the way I tried to contact the manufacture via the email address in the product details.

This email address not longer exists - Need I say more?

Terrible product do not buy – Poor quality. I purchased the saute pan at Floriade show. From the day it was sent to me the handle was wobbly and I contacted the company and they said this can happen and suggested I buy a binding cement and stick it together! The plastic attaching the handle disintegrated and fell off. I would not recommend this product.  Show details

Email address given by Stoneline in NZ for Stoneline Australia does not respond – I bought this set inn 2013 and thought at first they were great. Then they started to self destruct by losing their non stick finish and two of the pans are no good to cook with. I've contacted many people to try to get the warranty they claim but despite email address given by Stoneline in NZ they do not answer..  Show details

Don't choose coloured collection – Bought my set of red Stoneline pans and lids from EBay 4 years ago. In general I am happy with the pans as they are still non-stick, although the surface does seem to be easily scratched. The big disappointment is the coloured ones. I love red, so decided to buy a red set, but the outside of the pan is easily scratched, with the paint wearing of… Read more

Stoneline the Con Artists – I used to rave on about this Pan when I aight it back in October 2014. Then after a year it started peeling, I couldn't cook eggs in it anymore it was terrible.. I purchased my pan for $169 at a show and was conned into the sales pitch that it has a 12 year warranty.. - That if you can reach them, there is a Australian website address on there leaflet they give you with the receipt. But no website? Con artists  Show details

Fantastic! – I tried StoneDine and a whole host of similar products. But StoneLine actually lives up to what the others say. I've used it every day for almost a year and it's still non-stick and going strong (and I'm not precious with it). Really can't recommend this cookware enough!  Show details

Stoneline NO Olive oil – If you are cooking the European way - with Olive Oil - DO NOT BUY Stoneline. I bought the full set & more. I have seasoned my pans as directed & only used soft Silicone utensils & the coating after 3 year is absolutely none existent . Best investment ever made – I bought my set of 8 pieces plus a square griddle and a roaster over 2 years ago and have had no trouble at all with the products. They are a pleasure to cook with. I continually oil mine approximately every 3 months just to keep them moist. Have been thinking of buying some more pieces to add to my set

Stoneline great! – Are you sure you got StoneLine and not StoneDine (the cheap knock off)? Stoneline is great but the knock off is absolute rubbish. The names are so similar and the colour scheme the same it is easy to get the wrong one.

TERRIBLE LINE OF PRODUCTS & SERVICE – I bought pots, frying pans and an oval roasting pot. I have to say that the pans DO NOT come anywhere close to the time they are guaranteed for! I just discovered my 9 1/2 inch pot is peeling the non-stick product from the sides, that's an area that barely gets touched! And as for customer service...I don't know WHO to contact any more!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!! these StoneLine Products are a RIP OFF in all facets of their claims.

Very poor value for the money – I bought a 28cm wok a few years ago at a show. Followed instructions, use only non scratch utensils and hand wash every time but the coating started peeling after a few use. I approached the same seller at another show, complained but they were not interested. I was told that they never had any problems and as it was still under warranty, I should go online with my complaint.

No Good!!! – I paid $600.00 for a set of pots and pans, which in a couple of months I had to return the 3 pans we would use the most because of peeling. Then they replaced them, and again I emailed and said they are peeling again, but this time they said we are using them improperly???? What???? I do not put them in the dish washer, I do not use metal on… Read more

But the demo shows them cooking with them all day long, burning stuff etc...and no peeling??? Great cookware – This is the best saucepans and frypans I have ever owned. When I bought them the kids were sceptical but they now think they are the best. Recently one did house sitting and she came home and raved about how good our cookware is.

False advertising – Like the lady above I have been very careful with the use and care of my Stoneline Frypan and everything sticks to it. I purchased it so I wouldn't have to use oil well now I have to and things still stick. Total waste of money and very false advertising. I see a number of people have the same problem. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Don't Buy! Customer Service appalling and pan itself dangerous – I bought this stone line pan online in April 2015, less than a year ago. On Christmas day I was cooking with it. The handle broke into three places causing the pan and it's hot liquid to fall to the floor, burning myself on the hand on the way down as well as damaging our wooden floor and my silk dress. It has taken Stoneline 4 weeks to respond… Read more

Rip Off – Brought a Stoneline 32cm Serving Pan with glass lid at local agricultural show on 18/09/2014 for $190 as my husband had to have it. With the 12 year Warranty I thought it was a safe bet. surface is no longer non-stick. With oil our eggs stick fast. This product does not live up to advertising. It is a very poor product. I would never recommend. I did send for warranty and they said would not give warranty as they said user error as high heat used. I have never been more disgusted. I have made a complaint to consumer protection, so will see what will happen.

MB guarantee - believe this at your own risk!! – Appalling customer service: I purchased this pan at a home show in Hamilton the afternoon the show closed. By the time I got home the show had closed and I opened the box to discover in it was a USED pan complete with scratches all over the inside base and the rim of the lid was bent in several places - unbloodybelievable. photos, and based on those they then REFUSED to replace it saying the damage was misuse and user error, immediately assuming I was lying!!! I paid $199 for a 2nd hand scratched pan and a lid that I had to adjust and bend with pliers in order to get it to sit correctly on the pan. To anyone dealing with them, check your product immediately and don't accept being called a liar. They have never replaced my pan, and while it is a good pan I guess, it does obviously scratch, it does stick unless you continually season it, and if you wipe it out with a paper towel remember all the cooking residue still remains so don't go away on holiday without washing it properly with dish wash liquid or you will return to several inches of hairy mould growing out of your pan like I did!!!

False Advertising – Bought Stoneline's 28cm Gourmet Pan at Homebush HGS 2013 paid $150 bucks, thought it was a good buy with what I had heard about it. Stoneline claims 12 year warranty that covers any faults of defects or breakdown in materials. After about 1 year and being very careful how I used it as well as following Stoneline's care instructions of do's… Read more

and don'ts it began to loose non stick properties.

Contacted the company, they made the claim that I had not used it properly and that it would not be covered under warranty.

I objected to this statement so they requested I write down my problem send a photo and they would look into it.

I made the observation that the attitude they were taking that it was a waste of time dealing with them.

So to others do not buy their products, the warranty claim is false, any for a pan that cost $150 and lasted just over a year is an absolute joke.

Awesome Quality and Customer Service – I have had a set of these pans for several years now, awesome pans, food doesn't stick, coatings great, but best of all is the warranty and the customer service that this company provides. that handle broke again, not sure how it happened but I called Stoneline and they told me that they did not have the replacement handles so they sent me a whole new 11' skillet, with a lid, which arrived yesterday. I do not know how anyone could ask for more, best product and service imaginable. Perhaps other companies can, or should, learn about customer service from Stoneline.
