Streets Cornetto

Talk about shrinkflation!!! I brought my first one in about 20 years. Cost me $6.00 at the milk bar and was so small. They used to be bigger and nicer. Not only that, they say that human consumers use so much plastic. This cornetto came with a plastic cap whereas decades ago it was a cardboard covering. Shame on Streets Show details

It is the worst wafer ice cream I have ever bought. I bought the Strawberry Wafer type. It tasted very watery and the wafer is not crisp as advertised, it was very tough to chew. It actually made me feel a bit sick. Show details

Cornetto is superior in quality to Drumstick – I do not understand why Cornetto is not much preferred. The quality of the ice cream is vastly superior to drumstick which uses an inferior and lower quality ice cream recipe.

family members, comes in packet size of 4 or larger boxes of 20, often on special for $19.99 (larger box) when taking the wrapping off at times the tip of the cone(base) snaps off), a little big for younger kids to hold and a little costly if brought in 4 pkt ($7)

another company (the competitor is Nestle's Drumstick), and since these are my favourite type of ice cream, I really enjoy having one of these. The cone can become soggy if left too long in the freezer (does that mean you have to finish a box as soon as you bring it home?). A lighter less sugar type would be great. These are expensive, (as are most speciality ice creams), so I only buy when on sale if I really want it.

There isn’t a minus so I had to give it 1!! But honestly it was a taste of chemical ,the bright white icecream made me feel sick I thought it was a stitch up brand to be honest but no yuck never again !!!!!!! Show details

Nasty tasting ice confection in a soggy cone. Bears no resemblance to the original Cornettos, vastly inferior to Peters' Drumsticks. This was pure rubbish - I thought I must've got a short-dated pack, but no, they are well within date. Then I read the other reviews, now I understand. Show details

Fake ice cream and fake taste – What a shock. No more real ice cream. More like shaving cream. Sickly sweet manufactured taste. What a disgrace. Once a great product now gone down hill on the cheap and nasty quality side. Bring back the original version. This one is crap. I would rather pay extra than have to buy this ever again as it is. Gone down the same path as Drumsticks.

Poor experience – Awful! Never again! I just had a cornetto whilst sitting next to my husband who was eating a supermarket version. The cornetto was small by comparison, easily an inch shorter and an inch narrower at the top of the cone whilst being at least half as much again in cost. It was poor in taste too. Poor imitation of the past – The ice cream is now totally flavourless, like frozen milk. A very bad imitation of a once great product. I will never buy one again unless they dramatically change and heavily publicise improvement.

Scam! – This bore no resemblance to any Cornetto I ever met. It’s been a while and let me tell you things have changed! The Cornetto has been replaced by its evil Italian cousin (yes- made in Italy)!!! Completely ice cream free- also free of flavour and any kind of creamy texture. I’m cured. Never again. I used to love these – I thought cornettos in petrol stations were $2 each. The guy asked for $5.20 in Nowra. I have looked everywhere for a year to buy a box but no one sells them. I think they must be discontinued.the one I bought hss as d a wet cone. So disappointed. Show details

Never again – Bought two chocolate Cornetto today. Chemical tasting chocolate sauce and the ice cream tasted like spray can cream with sugar added then frozen surrounded by soggy wafer. Both my husband and I hated it and agreed we would never purchase another. Paid $4 each, wouldn’t buy another if they were 40 cents. Streets need to read their reviews. Terrible – Just like Cadbury , Streets have totally ruined their products & reputation just so they can maximize their already huge profits!! Terrible – Sh*thouse! Cornetto’s used to be better than Drumsticks. What happened??!!! The ice cream is icy, not creamy and the chocolate tastes cheap, with a soggy cone. Won’t ever buy again.

Gross crap made with cheap ingredients – Purchased a box of Cornettos from my local Woolies (on sale thank goodness!) the other day and was highly disappointed. The "ice cream" was a weird bright white, sickly sweet frozen gloop and the "chocolate" tasted like old cooking chocolate that was left exposed in a pantry for weeks. while eating it, I had to spit it out! So gross. I honestly thought we just ended up with a dud box, but after reading all of the reviews, I now realise that is not the case.

Sickly after taste – My tastebuds were ambushed when I was presented with one of these in the dark and already out of its wrapper. Not aware that it was the always avoided Cornetto , I placed it in my mouth and reacted to the unfamiliar sickly, awful chemical taste with a question, “ WTH is this ? “.

So very disappointing! – We usually buy Aldi Crowns (which are pretty darn good) which are a cheap yummy treat but last week we thought we’d “treat” ourselves to the original vanilla Cornetto as it had been years since we last had them, so bought a 4 pack. What Happened To Quality??? – I bought a 4 Pack of Vanilla along with "Another Brand", Found the Conettos to be cheap tasting, and didn't even melt at the time, I'm guessing because of to much added water, Unlike the other Brand Box at the Same time, I could bearly unwrap without it melting, goes to show Quality Full Cream Milk ingredients.
