I love mine – I’ve owned mine for around 10 years. Use it every year to juice excess citrus fruit including grapefruit. It’s efficient and easy to use. It could be improved with a jug that poured better. OK with care. I can make a litre of juice including cleaning up in less than 10 minutes. Usually make 3 to 4 litres at a time Mine’s a little workhorse and much loved and appreciated. Thank you Sunbeam.  Show details ·  1

Happy with this product. Surprised by the negative reviews – I have been using this juicer for oranges over the past month and have been very happy with the results. I did not buy it but just inherited it. Using this juicer I can extract much more juice per orange compared to using a manual hand juicer. I think the only explanation as to the poor reviews is people not using the product correctly. It is… Read more ·  1

possible to press too tightly on the oranges etc when using the machine which would damage the gears and motor. If you are careful and use the right amount of pressure the motor works just fine in terms of removing the orange etc. flesh and juice.

I can understand how this machine may break if you aren't careful using it. However, I think given the compact size of the unit and the price that this is good value. I notice that this unit has been replaced by a much larger unit called the Citrus Press which looks more solidly built but to me it is less ergonomic. It looks much larger and heavier.

Would not waste a cent on this product – I bought this Sunbeam Citrus Plus Juicer JE2600 was so excited, used once, packed away, took out again a while later and it started making a screeching sound, useless would be my comment as I used it technically twice! Before it broke. I have arthritis and hoped this would help, instead its made my life more hectic, running back with it. Now I must go to hunt for receipt, not sure if out of warranty, NOT HAPPY JAN!

Terrible – Not very impressed, sunbeam is normally pretty good and the design is excellent, but someone thought a 5 cent plastic cog is better than a 10 cent metal one and the thing just breaks and makes a very awful sound. Good thing it has a 12 month warranty as you will need it ! looks good Only it died after 6 oranges ! made a very loud screeching sound… Read more

and stopped working. Went and got our money back as we expect it to last longer than 1 day or 6 oranges.

Bad – Cheaply made, motor components not good enough to fulfill the job it was designed for- juicing 1 litre of citrus. Motor crunches & got hot enough to melt the base. Labours after 2 oranges, barely turning, if you wait 15 mins you can get another 2 oranges out of it, but who wants to waste time doing that? Quicker to juice by hand. Pick up your… Read more

game Sunbeam & make the product to a decent standard. As a consumer, I prefer products that work for more than 5 mins, I cannot be bothered with throwaway standard electrical goods! Good family breakfast juice size juicer.

Easy to clean.

-Dust cover- a good idea.

Warranty works (I replaced mine 2x before I swapped for a Breville, it was barely better-read my review on it) Motor crunches & got hot enough to melt the base within 6 weeks.

Quicker to juice by hand.

Sunbeam consumer 1800 staff suggest it is not designed for 1 litre of juice at a time (Why the 1 litre jug then?????)

Terrible – I'm taking mine back. What do citrus juicer manufacturers think we want, a juicer that does 5 fruit and then packs it in for the day? If I'm going to juice 5 fruits I'll do it by hand. BTW, the Kambrook equivalent juicer is NO better. It doesn't do what I bought it to do. We juice say 10 fruits in one hit, once a week. We have had this juicer for… Read more

about 6 weeks, so that's how many fruits it has done! Not many, hey. I agree with the review above. It is too slow, too weak, and too noisy. It clunks really loudly if you push firmly on the orange/mandarin and yes, it goes one way then the other (fine, that is a feature) but stops if you keep going, even if you press so softly that you cant get all the juice out. I get to juice 5 oranges and that does it. We need a juicer that will juice a mere 10 oranges one after the other, and this isnt it..
