Positive Machine – Bought this citrus press last week from the Good Guys and has worked effortlessly. Done a dozen big oranges in next to know time. Made no mess , plenty of juice , very easy to assemble and clean . Very good product for its price and what it can do . Show details · 1
Terrible product – This was a terrible product. It only lasted 9 months before it broke! Then Sunbeam said that although it was covered by warranty, they didn't have any in stock and would "upgrade" this to the much more expensive model of the JE7800 (rrp $130)! pantry. I waited for a few months, but still there wasn't any new stock of the JE2700. Additionally, the JE2700 was time consuming to clean and too bulky in size. We use this daily for fresh squeezed orange juice, so it was na important kitchen appliance for us. Previously we had a Braun Citromatic Compact MPZ6, type 4161 which was compact in size and worked very well for all of 14 years of daily use! This was the type that I wanted to buy to replace it, but the Sunbeam JE2700 was the smallest (!!) on the market. Eventually I conceded defeat and Sunbeam gave me a JE7800 which I promptly donated to a charity shop. I just found that Kambrook have started making a citrus juicer just like the Braun one! I will be getting one of these...
Very easy to use and good value for money – I have been using Orange Juice Press Manual Hand Juicer for a long time, but due to my arthritis problem not able to put more stress on my wrist, found the good review about this and bought it, very much satisfied, could have the cheaper one, but this one has 40w power which provide enough power to have a plenty of fresh orange juice in no time. cleaning is also very easy. This is rubbish – This machine takes at least five times as long to juice my morning oranges as did a thirty year old one which had motor burn out. The ribs on the conical part need a MAJOR redesign because they are too small and shallow. Wish I had bought one for two thirds of the price. Show details
This is the best citrus juicer I have used – This is the lates in a long line of citrus juicers our family has had and replaced a generic brand from KMart. Compared to the models that we have had previously this one is well designed and efficient. We have had it almost a year and it has been problem free. I can’t remember exactly what we paid but although it was dearer than the regular models it was well with the extra. I would buy this model again.
Great & Excellent! – I would never be without the citrus press, how so easy to use when it's automatic. Just a half of lemon does wonders when you juice it. Easy to use, not that loud. Easy to maintain and clean. I use it all the time now as its convenient for juicing a variety of fruit. I am happy now that this product does a lot of juicing instead of using a manual one. Terrible! – My advise to other is keep looking and give this model a miss. Takes forever juice oranges, quicker to do it by hand. Pour spout always clogs up, iI you push too hard the rotation goes one way then the other, over all the whole juicing process is slow and frustrating!
