Fantastic coffee machine – Today I replaced this unit to a new PC7900. I'm going to miss my PC5800 I purchased it in 1999. After it serving me for almost 22 years. It has made its last coffee for me this afternoon. Its time it retired. I have been very happy with this unit.

Purchased in at Harvey Norman Retail Stores - Appliances.

Love this – Got it 2nd hand and it's a dream. I've been raised to love brewed coffee and this machine really satisfied my need for decent quickly made coffee. Love the timer feature too. Waking up to the smell of coffee is always a pleasurable experience.

Purchased in at Lifeline for $10.

Great long lasting coffee perculator – I've had one of these for over 8 years now and it's fantastic. Consistent working over time, programmable etc One issue over time is that the program buttons wore off so it was up to me to remember how it worked and sadly when the glass jug broke it wasn't replaceable - which meant that the machine doesn't work at all because the lid on the jug triggered the coffee release from the filter. A quality product long lasting The trigger on the jug means no other jugs can be used

Quit working after one month – I was so happy to have an automatic drip coffee maker again and this one held real promise. Features such as automatic brewing, the ablility to choose the strength of my coffee, a permanant filter were great-especially since it made a great cup...make that twelve cups of coffee. Alas, my joy was shortlived as my coffeemaker one day stopped working after only a month. The power light would still come on, but the burner would not get warm and coffee did not brew. Customer service at Sunbeam was not helpful at all, telling me I had to deal with the retailer. No trouble-shooting, repair recommendations, just "take it back." Since I bought it a month ago somewhere on-line, I have no clue where the receipt is. Unless you are able to spring out of bed unaided by caffeine and don't mind wasting your money, I can not recommend this product.

Excellent – I have had one for 5 years , replaced a jug I broke. Finally died the other day, am buying another one. If you just want ordinary perkolated coffee it is the best value for money. Programmable, makes great coffee. Hard to see display - but then I have old eyes!
