Garbage. They all fail after ~12 months – As other reviewers have said, the controllers break very quickly. Cost me $150 and the left side controller stopped working after just 1 year! I'll never buy another Sunbeam again.

Useless – you need to spend $50-$75 on EACH controller every 12-18 months as they fail and are useless. they are just rubbish. company does not offer any assistance. if you cant get it together just do a simple on/off switch geez how much do you want to cut the costs. get it right or get it off the market. this same problems keeps getting reported for the last 6 years!! breaks consistanly and have to spend $50-$75 on a new one (thats each side)

Controllers are crap – Unreliable controllers, sunbeam and retialers will not cover warranty, look the idea is sound by the build quality is less than poor, first controller died and had issues getting it sorted, now number two has failed and sorry now two years old buy a new one, well let the fun begin Unreliable controllers

Good – One of the best things I have purchased as I put it on 10 minutes before I go to sleep while I wash my teeth and face and then jump into a warm bed. If I wake up cold in the middle of the night I turn it on and it warms up quickly. I leave it on a low heat number 3 when I sleep. Heats up really quickly... Stays warm... brands and a good price compared to other electric blankets from department stores (Myer and DJs) also made in China. Doesn't have a timer on it.

Terrible – The Cons say it all. What seemed like a good idea at the time turned sour. Sunbeam's name is becomming mud. Quick heat (10 mins then turn it off) Unreliable controllers then the blanket died just out of warranty.

will end up returning this one at the end of the season and getting my mony back, and next year look at a kambrook, but i would not buy any other brand besides kambrook becuase all the other brands(linda, delongi ect) have no quality controle good heat on setting number one for all night use, i use it every night from start of auturm to 1/2 way throught spring the controlers are very poor quality.

Terrible – Will NEVER buy Sunbeam electric blankets again. Waste of money having to buy a new one every year because they don't last any longer than that. I am extremely disappointed as I had previously had a high opinion of Sunbeam. different levels of heat are good and the timer which switches off. have had to buy 2 over past 24 months. Exactly the same thing happened with both controls on both electric blankets. They don't work after 12 months.

of this brand,would definately not reccomend either after reading so many other negative reviews.Shame as sunbeam usually have a good rating.So many more people should be aware of this site. Fact that it kept me warm... kept me warm for short time!

Terrible – Avoid this product. Like most appliance manufacturers, Sunbeam's products come from China to minimise cost. However, this does not excuse the very poor design and quality of this (and other) Sunbeam junk. After a short time one side stopped working.
