frustrating. I waited three months trying to get the issue resolved, and every two weeks I was told the same thing that they were still waiting for parts to be sent out. Customer support was just as poor, with hold times exceeding 2.5 hours. Even after finally getting through, any progress made would fall apart the moment another promised deadline was missed.
For something marketed as suitable for outdoor use, the overall build quality and after-sales support are both unacceptable. It clearly isn’t designed to withstand regular sun exposure or light wind, and the lack of reliable support makes the situation even worse.
I would not recommend this umbrella to anyone looking for a long-term solution. It may look fine initially, but it doesn’t hold up over time and if something goes wrong, don’t expect a smooth resolution.

Delivery men were very efficient and had the two pieces put together and in place very quickly. Very good quality and workmanship. Both items were as displayed in the shop. Well made and looked magnificent. Have bought from Amart before and on each occasion have been very satisfied with our purchase and the efficiency of the staff. Have no hesitation in recommending them.

They offered me a store credit of just over $200 yes $200 . They also wanted me to waive the 10year warranty on the structure. Yep the 10 year warranty will be canceled if I except their amazing offer of store credit. I never once asked for change of mind but they emailed me another response saying that change of mind was only for 30 days so a return is no longer valid . I wanted it replaced with one that has been painted probably, not a change of mind . I also said they could pick the one I have when the other is delivered . Nope not going to do . So they offered me $650 STORE credit and 10 year warranty is cancelled. Omg … i suppose I could just go around with paint pen and hide the white .so to stop the stress I put to them 50% direct to my bank refund and I will keep it .And waive warranty. since noticed that my Latitude Visa has been charged twice for this item — once in December and again in January — both for $1,499.00. I contacted Latitude, and they advised me to follow this up directly with Amart.
I am extremely disappointed with this situation, which has caused significant stress and inconvenience. In addition to the double charge, I would like to highlight the following concerns:
The product should have been checked for quality before leaving the warehouse.
When the urgent pickup was organised, I showed the mould to the delivery driver. He touched it with his bare hands and suggested I clean and use it, which raises concerns about a lack of health and safety awareness.
When I spoke with an Amart staff member on 6 January 2026, I was clearly told that there would be no additional charge, as this was a replacement for a faulty product. The extra charge suggests an internal miscommunication.
As a FIFO worker, I had to arrange assembly twice, take time off to be home for deliveries, and manage multiple steps including delivery, assembly, warranty complaint, pickup, re-delivery, re-assembly, and now a billing issue.
This entire process has been very frustrating and time-consuming. I request that this matter be resolved urgently, including confirmation that the duplicate charge will be refunded.
Please advise the outcome as soon as possible. I also hope this feedback helps improve quality control and customer service for future customers.

nightmare. Emails are ignored, no one follows up, and there is no sense of urgency or accountability. Now I’m being told some items won’t even arrive until April, which is completely unacceptable. Once Amart has your money, communication and service seem to disappear. Extremely frustrating experience and definitely not a company I would trust or recommend.

offers, accepted 1, no reply or acknowledgement. Then advise need to reselect another product as table discontinued. Whilst live with Amart I found and placed in my cart the same table. No nil stock or not available alerts, so misleading advertising? Amart online ready to accept my payment. Sent screen shot to Amart live which advised speak to nearest store and ended conversation. From mid November 2025 to today 10 Feb 2026, Amart have been pathetic to deal with. Misinformation about arrival of our table and chairs, no contacts, always us seeking information, long delays waiting to speak to someone.

budget. I knew that i wanted a velvet headboard and this was just perfect. The gold accents exude that luxe feel and immediately fell in love. The delivery took abit of time and the day i thought it would arrive the message kept saying delivery ongoing for 2 days before it came so that was abit of an inconvenience as someone had to be home to receive it. However when it arrived it was super easy to assemble, literally it was a one man job and to top it all off it was soo gorgeous and felt sooo good added an extra ooommph to my master bedroom. If you are considering buying it, go ahead, you wont regret it!! Now to find matching bed-side tables!
Follow-up · Update after using the bed for a few months. It is still perfect, no creaking noises, the legs are pretty sturdy and the velvet is still in pristine condition.

Chloe then came to serve us and she was extremely helpful and nothing we asked was too much trouble for her to answer.
After going home and measuring the space in our room, we called back and placed the order. Again, Chloe and Loren were amazing to deal with over the phone and everything was sorted quickly despite my own misunderstanding around the online payment system.
This is the 4th major furniture purchase from their store in the past 24 months and we are very happy with the service and the quality of their products purchased.
I recently purchased QS bed and mattress from Amart Joondalup. A huge shout out to Daphne and all the staff who helped with many queries. Beware - do not buy online - have been trying for 2 weeks to get someone to answer their number. I’m beginning to think the 07 3380 5500 number is fake - just get music no message. Two weeks ago someone overseas picked up, spoke very poor English and said a receipt would be sent to me the following day - didn’t happen and coffee table would be delivered in 5 days - didn’t happen. This online store is as close to a scam as you can get.
Purchased an outdoor umbrella and the required seperate purchases of weights for the base. All of it is completely useless, constantly falling down, and will never stay upright. Amart continues to drag their feet on returning the items, always issues and delays, not responding to emails, on hold when calling ect.

Amart sent a so-called warranty technician who claimed in his report that this was “not a manufacturing problem.” This report appears biased and designed only to protect the company rather than assess the product honestly. Many customers already know that Amart’s artificial leather sofas commonly peel, and I have personally spoken to others who confirmed they’ve had the same issue.
After my warranty claim was rejected, Amart completely stopped responding to my emails. No follow-up, no explanation, and no effort to resolve the problem. This level of customer service is unacceptable and unprofessional.
I have clear photos and evidence showing the peeling and deterioration of the sofa, and I am happy to share them with anyone who wants to see proof that this is a manufacturing defect.
I strongly warn anyone thinking of buying from Amart Furniture: Low-quality materials, misleading warranty processes, fake technical assessments, and terrible after-sales service. Save your money and shop elsewhere.

vacuumed box I realised it said: Manufacturing date 2024.12.30; Box must be open by 2025.06.30 which was more than 6 months overdue. I called up the store, but they completely refused to send me a replacement products and pick up their faulty ones. They made me bring the mattresses back to them to get a refund/exchange. Regardless I explained to them that what if I’d opened the mattresses to their full form and found them having issues, they said their policy does not change, which means I would have to hire a truck/van to bring them back to the store. This is their crap policy, as in the past I bought a mattress with Harvey Norman, and when I made a warranty claim, they brought me the new mattress and took the faulty one away with no extra charge. Ensure you are aware of Amart policy in this regard before making any purchase from them.
