Not a long time work or life dish washer cheap o and waste of money – Had it brand new for 6 months then it crap it-self. It doesn't wash dishes properly even though I pre rinsed the dishes by hand. It doesn't wash the cutlery on top shelf. It doesn't drain the water from the dishwasher itself. Leaves water in the bottom. I still gotta put it on pre rinse for a second time after its done its cycle. I wouldn't recommend buying one of these. Show details

Bellissimo Technika dishwasher – I’ve had a Bellissimo Technika dishwasher from brand new 3 years ago. It’s recently started flashing the glass setting light and won’t wash. I’ve cleaned out the tray from excess water, checked the pipes, but it still doesn’t work - surely they make dishwashers to last more than 3 years??? Show details

Simply bad quality and poor performance – Like others - we got the dishwasher with the newly built house but from day one it never performed well. It simply doesn't dry anything and even if you resort to leaving the door open after the wash cycle is finished, the plastic items remain wet. On many occasions we had to rewash the dishes because items would come out dirty. Tried our best… Read more

to make the best of this dishwasher by paying careful attention to placement of items - performance is hit and miss. We always kept the filters clean and checked that the drain pipe was not being kinked or restricted in any way. Recently it progressively just got worse and the wife was threatening to throw it out and buy a Bosch model like we had previously owned which worked flawlessly for years. Being Tech savy I decided to drag it outside and open the bottom cover to inspect all parts. The first issue I found was that the pump motor run-capacitor was only measuring 2uF when it should have been 5uF. This would result in the pump motor running at reduced speed and hence reduced flow and pressure. Changed the capacitor for a new one. Hopeful - I returned the unit to service and whilst the pump audibly appeared to be producing more flow - the dishes were still coming out dirty! Then I discovered something I had not noticed before because it was obscured by the top basket unless you remove it altogether... To remove it you have to be careful not to break the small plastic clips that retain the basket to the sliding arms. The hole in the back wall (essentially a round plastic nut) that the upper basket spray arm inlet connects into to get washing and rinse water, looked much bigger than the diameter of the male connector that goes into the hole when the basket is pushed in against the back wall. I then realised that there was a rubber seal missing and in fact it looked like it might simply have been eroded. This would be the main reason why the upper arm would not be getting any feed and it would cause the lower arm also to be ineffective since the water would just be pouring out of the rear wall hole and running down the wall leaving insufficient water pressure left to drive both the upper and lower arms. Attached photo shows the plastic nut with no seal and the new replacement item. After replacing the plastic nut/seal with a new one (purchased on line from Big Warehouse Spares - Australia), it was back to working as it did from day one but still not at expected performance levels in comparison to other models we have owned. It still doesn't dry the dishes and is very particular about item placements in the baskets returning some dirty dishes. Also in the attached photo, with the upper basket removed, the plastic male connector shows very rough and sharp edges and it would not surprise me if this is the reason the rubber seal was eroded or slowly cut to pieces. I sanded the connector edges smooth with fine wet and dry emery paper.

Fabulous Dishwasher – The Technika TDX6SS stainless steel dishwasher is a gem!!! It performs superbly on short cycles which saves us money on electricity and water. There is a half load function which is a really handy feature for those smaller loads. In the past we have had a Dishlex dishwasher and the was so noisy it was ridiculous. The Technika TDX6SS is fairly… Read more ·  1

quiet in comparison.

It would be handy to open the door after a cycle to let the steam out but other than the dishwasher is simply awesome.

Works Brilliantly – Purchased from eBay to match my other Technika products, i was skeptical at first as i had never owned a dishwasher but how well it cleans and dries my dishes i have been converted and can not go back to hand washing. Its such a time saver when i have a friends over for a meal as i have more time to be with my friends than standing over the sink.  Show reply

No issues – You people are complaining your dishes are dirty after a wash, do you leave them in the dishwasher so the food stains dry up for 2-3 days before you turn the machine on or at least scrap food off first? Also this model can most defiantly fit dinner plates, read the user manual change the top shelf height and they fit. Three years now and i haven’t had any issues.  Show reply

Upper spray arm won't spin, it hits the back of the dishwasher – The dishwasher is just over two years old and we noticed it hasn't been washing the upper tray well at all for over a year. Lots of residue left on the crockery and glasses. We made sure it was clean and the spray arm was clean. On close inspection we have just discovered that the upper spray arm hits the back plastic ducting when rotating and… Read more

stops turning when the tray is on the upper setting. Just poor manufacturing in our view and this should not be happening. I notice a number of complaints about this model with similar upper tray washing issues. Very unhappy indeed.

The worst dishwasher, ever. DO NOT BUY! – We hate this dishwasher! Totally hate it. It came with the Carlisle Home we built two years ago. So now we know Carlisle uses cheap products. - It doesn't wash dishes properly. Everytime we run a cycle there is residue left behind. - We have to prewash/scrub dishes before putting them in a cycle. Defeats the purpose of a dishwasher. - Dishes come… Read more

Absolutely hate this product. Technika have the worst after care service – This dishwasher does not clean my dishes very well at all. The design and layout is the worst issue of all. The Plates that go into the bottom tray do not fit without the upper arm hitting them, therefore stopping the arm from spinning and cleaning correctly. Now my bottom arm has stopped working altogether so no dishes are getting cleaned. We had… Read more

a technician come to repair and i was advised he couldn't do it, he would try and see if someone else could fix it, we have now been waiting weeks for any type of contact. I have emailed almost daily and called but can only manage to speak to the reception who says she will pass my message on.

Its a waste of space and does nothing a dishwasher is supposed to do.

The worst dishwaher – I absolutely hate this dishwasher. It came with our new plantation house. the dishes come out soaking wet. we broke so many dishes as they would be wet and slippery from rinse aid. night or to work in the morning after switching on the dishwasher as we need to wait for the dishes to finish washing to open the door in order to get dry dishes. This is absolutely ridiculous. We had Bosh and westinghouse dishwashers before this with absolutely no fuss.

I would have never gone for this dishwasher if it didn't come with the house.

Disappointed – The dishwasher does not clean properly unless we clean all the food off the plate before putting the dishes into the dishwasher machine. Usually it needs a second wash. This means we are doubling our time to wash dishes. We now use the dish washer to dry plates instead. The washing machine itself is quiet, but is not value for the money we pay for for.  Show details

Heater Element Fault Code, Seal Failure – Hi there, When I built my house in 2009 we were sold a package and the original Technika burnt out in the first 18 months after much debate and to and fro-ing it was the General Manager of Technika who saved the day, not the builder Dennis Family Homes; this is another story. The GM of Technika replaced the old dishwasher without question, now my… Read more

concern is that the second one, TDX6SS-3, has also failed, it appears the fault is a failed "water heater" - The concerning part about this is my next door neighbour opted for a no-name cheap brand from Bunnings and this has not skipped a beat for the last 7 years. I know that this machine replaced the previous faulty one, but why should I buy another Technika when the no-name brand has outlived ours twice. I cannot provide invoice because is was part of my house, I would have to send the whole contract.

Cant live with out the half cycle wash – Purchased on eBay about two years ago for my dream kitchen. It still cleans and dries my dishes like its brand new and have never had an issue with it. I have really bad eczema on my hands and i really cant do 'hand washing' so if i only have a few dishes the half cycle wash is by far my favorite feature.  Show reply

Saves Time – Purchased in 2013 to match my other Technika products in my new Kitchen. Three years on and it has not let me down. when its half full it can be noisy otherwise its quiet silent. I love packing the dishwasher up at night and unpacking the dry dishes the next morning. I believe saves me time and water will recommend to others.  Show reply

Cleans Perfectly – This dishwasher is a really fantastic asset in our home. We purchased this unit back in 2014 and we haven't had one issue since day one. The unit cleans and dries our dishes to perfection every single time. Its super quiet, easy to use and very water efficient. I would most certainly purchase one again.  Show reply

Great Investment! – We purchased in 2013 and it does a great job with no fuss - we just pack the dishes in and they come out clean and dry (mostly). The "normal wash" mode gives a good result. We had a Westinghouse dishwasher for a while and it was absolutely hopeless - didn't actually wash or dry very well and seemed to hold far less dishes.  Show reply

Handy Asset – We purchased this dishwasher when we upgraded our kitchen appliances in 2010. I love our dishwasher, it cuts down my cleaning time in half and allows me to do other things around the house. It cleans and dries our dishes twice a day with no hiccups thus far. We find that it works best with finish dishwashing tablets or the like. It fairly quiet to run, and saves us loads on water.  Show reply

Cleans like a commercial dishwasher – Purchased from the good guys as apart of my dream kitchen renovation. Comparing this model to other brands it was reasonably priced and seemed mid range for what it can do. I’m extremely pleased with its washing ability as it cleans like a commercial dishwasher does. I hope this lasts a good 20 years plus. As its a brilliant machine.  Show reply

Delightful Dishwasher – I find that dishwasher cleans and dries our dishes very well. The unit itself isn't noisy at all (probably the same as previous dishwashers I have owned in the past). Dishwasher Delight – Replaced my previous Dishlex dishwasher with this beauty. Really happy with my purchase. Super quiet, cleans well, dries well. The regular cycle is a little long so now I use the quick wash option which shortens the cycle with good results. Time Saver. Water Saver – I have had this dishwasher in my family home for over 3 years. We couldn't be happier with its performance and reliability. It saves me time on scrubbing dishes all night long and saves us heaps of water. It's overall quite a good dishwasher, with some great features like adjustable upper basket. We have found it to be fairly quiet but we do have a noisy lot in our house, so I wouldn't be the best judge for that.  Show reply

Clean As A Whistle – I built a home with Carlisle homes in 2010, all the appliances were included which I found to be really great as it saved us the time of looking around and purchasing ourselves. This dishwasher is a great time saver in my household as I literally set and forget and this cleaning takes care of itself. The Wells water rating is one of the best on the market so I'm saving water too :-)  Show reply

Clearly labeled anyone can use it – Dishwasher was installed in 2011 apart of my Simonds home. The control panel is clearly labeled and one button push to change the functions makes it not only simple to use but easy for anyone. I use the heavy cycle when it's fully loaded, once on I can hear it begin but then goes almost silent I forgot its on. When the wash is done dishes are clean and dry. Very reliable and hasn't missed a beat  Show reply

Love this dishwasher – Bought my dishwasher in 2014 and never had a problem with it. I’ve never had to pre rinse any of my dishes and i always use either Coles or Aldi brand dishwasher tablets and rinse aid and regularly clean my filters so dishes come out clean and dry every time. When I don’t have enough dishes to do a full load it’s great that i can do a half wash and only lasts 40 minutes. I will recommend to my friend and family.  Show reply

5 Star Appliance – I purchased this dishwasher through the good guys back in 2011. I loved the design and look of the unit and my friend has one and raves about hers. With a 4 star water rating and easy to clean exterior I simply love it. With little ones running around my home this dishwasher saves me lots of time and hassle. Worst dishwasher in history – If you don't mind fixing the thing after every wash or stacking something in it buy it. I'm constantly havnig to put the wheels that hold the top shelf back on every time you move the top shelf, it doesn't even clean things properly. cheap peace of crap. it's the only bad point about our build with Carlisle, no wonder they give it away free.
