Worked well for 7 years until the door stopped opening – The dishwasher has been good until after 7 years when one day the door wouldn’t open. Tried every trick including child lock but it’s not opening at all. Can’t find any solution anywhere. Show details · 1
Cannot Fault – I have had my dishwasher for almost 2 years now and its been great. It has not had any issues. Fully loaded washes and dries brilliantly. I love that the bottom basket rails a collapsible to fit my pots and pans as my previous dishwasher I had to hand wash them. Show reply
Absolutely hate it! – I have had nothing but issues with this some came out from company said it was the rinse aid part why is wasn't working and still to this day that is not the problem all they did when they came out was reset the thing and it just fixs it for a short time, they said That they would take to it the warehouse to get analysed but if they find something… Read more
I'm at expense when it was under warranty. Unhelpful staff in call centre and the people that come out. Would not recommend it to anyone as my builder put it in coz it's cheap for them to bulk buy these.
Best dishwasher – I got this with my new house last year. Has been going well without a hitch. Would recommend to all.
Shelving could be a bit better - does fit quite enough settings for me – Works fine. I have had no problems so far, once I realised I could raise the top shelf. My is 5 years old. Having a bit of a problem with a couple of the runners now falling off but any decent handy man could pop them on and have them stay on. Unfortunately I am not a decent handman. Still works good, cleans great. I have heard noisier machines and if it was near your television perhaps would be a tad loud.
Not the best not the worst – I've used this dishwasher a dozen or so times, it washes the dishes fine. You people complaining your dishes are dirty after a wash, do you even rinse them before they go in the machine? And clearly you can fit dinner plates in there. Read the manual, change the shelf height, simple. Negative things for this dishwasher are poor drying and fairly noisy.
Wouldn't recommend! – I've had other branded dishwashers but this is the one I'm the least happy with! It came as part of a new house kitchen package. Less than 12months old and the top rubber seal keeps falling off the unit and has perished. I use a good quality powder/rinse aid but the plates etc are always only just clean and never properly dry. Also, often when I… Read more
press the start button it doesn't start. Have to power off, power on and then start again. I think there are better quality dishwashers out there for the same money! I will be replacing it very soon :-(
Does the job – it's my first dishwasher at home, never use one or never know how to use one until recently. Almost the same time our new work office kitchen got a new fancy brand dishwasher. Initially i found my home dishwasher has got a lot of water still hanging on dishes after wash but the one at work had dishes clean and dried beautifully, so I thought it's… Read more · 1
the brand(the money) makes the difference. Later i realised i have not put any rinse aid into my home dishwasher. Now my dishes are as clean and dried and does the same job as the other one with the rinse aid.
Also, there is a bit of noise when washing but same as the fancy brand one, it's tolerable, still can watch tv without noticing it. who does dishes without noise? Mama? Haha.
I persinally make sure put dishes in well before washing. But i have't tried just stick them in randomly to see if it still works, and i haven't done that to the fancy brand one at work either, can try~but don't see the point. I do find the good brand one can have more dishes in.
Sum it up, it does the job, in fact does it well.
Does the job – No idea why everyone is complaining about this dishwasher. It cleans the dishes first go, and I rarely rinse. Plates too big and the top blade hits them? Move the top rack up! That's all I did, and I have no problems. Currently using 'fairy' tablets, and it works fine. Have used cheap powder before too, and no issues. Show reply
Don't like it – I find it a big inconvenience that the top basket is so far down, can't even fit my plates in there without the blade hitting it, so they can never go in there. I also have to pretty much almost clean the dishes so it can wash them properly. Sometimes half the tablet is still sitting in there. Also, the seal has completely come off...when I rang… Read more
them the tech said to just put ordinary silicone on it. I explained that the guy from bunnings said you can't just use any silicone, it has to be 'food safe' since you eat off the dishes, but the tech just turned around and said "nah, it'll be fine..." He had a very inappropriate attitude about it...food safe glues make perfect sense, why would you use something toxic to wash plates you eat off???
Door seal came off, doesn't fit plates
Not a fan – If you want your dishes clean in these dishwashers you have to hand clean them first, or give everything a really good rinse. I was using tablets and the tablets wouldn't dissolve. I thought there was an issue with the dishwasher and got a Technika repair man in. He told me you can't use tablets in these dishwashers, they don't like them, even… Read more
though there are two compartments to put the tablets. I also find this dishwasher very small and hard to stack too much into it (it won't clean well if it's too full either). It came with the place when we built it so will definitely look at replacing it now, after giving it 2 years.
Too small, Doesn't clean dishes well. Can't use tablets in it, noisey
Not worth it – The machine deals well with plates if you give them lots of space. Does poorly with cups. I am not sure I can move the upper tray higher because the blades always hit my plates and its always a test of wit because I have to find spots where its fine. After around 10 uses I have found that the machine is already starting rust around the door hinge. deals ok with light dishes noisy, takes too long, doesn't fit well, doesn't clean well
I totally agree with you!
Technika Dishwasher – I have had my Technika Dishwasher for about 7 years now. It has been nothing but trouble. Pump has now gone for the second time. It has never washed the dishes properly which leads to having to have to put it through a second cycle (wasting water of course). I will not be replacing the pump on this machine I would rather buy a dishwasher that will actually wash the dishes! The worst dishwasher I have ever had

Absolute junk – terrible. just terrible. noisy, doesn't clean dishes and broke down straight away. the tray rack doesn't sit correctly and dishes always come out dirty. When i say noisy i mean noisy! looking for replacement as i write this! Dont even waste your money, spend the extra $$ and get a decent brand! Absolutely everything. worst dishwasher ever!

Its a very basic and easy to use dishwasher with all the features fitting well for a small family. We have been using it everyday and it has been performing well all this time. Dishes always come out sparkling clean.I have never noticed any powder residue on the dishes.
The Dishwasher has delay settings for 2,4,6 and 8 hours.
We mostly use the Fast wash mode, Being a small family of 3 it works for us.Fast wash mode runs only for half an hour so we save electricity that way.As the fast wash mode does not dry the dishes so we leave the dishes in dishwasher and in the morning they are mostly dry but sometimes the dishes are a bit wet when taken out the next morning.
It also has a Rinse Aid low level reminder which comes in handy and you need not check it manually by opening the Rinse aid pocket.
The internals of the dishwasher look fragile in the first look but are good and adjustable. The cutlery basket is not suitable for small dessert forks as they get dropped down into the basket.
Being a basic model it is a good value for money dishwasher. Easy to use,all basic features, washes well, 5 programs Noisy, 2.5 star energy rating
Never Buy – Bought a brand new Technika Dishwasher and there our error lies. The dishes do not come out clean even after a full wash cycle. The dishwashing tablets do not dissolve properly resulting in unwashed dishes. Went out and bought dishwashing powder rather than tablets but still the dishes are not totally clean. The bottom rack almost always comes… Read more
off the rails resulting in me having to stack the dishes again. What a crap dishwasher. My previous dishwasher left my dishes sparkling clean. This Technika brand is crap and I would never recommend it to anyone... Absolutely nothing Doesn't wash dishes properly. Bottom rack always coming off rails
To small to put our plates in – This dishwasher isn't too bad in terms of the actual cleaning of the dishes and I would say it is fairly quiet. The worst thing is that we cannot fit our dinner plates in the bottom rack so they have to be laid on the top rack. This means we can only fit, at a push, 4 plates at a time in the dishwasher and then not much else. I wouldn't say our… Read more
plates are any larger than standard size but they do not fit under the spinning water sprayer. Maybe ok for a couple but not for a family. Also, the handles of our cutlery are too large to fit in the holders that go in the cutlery section so we've had to remove them. Again are cutlery is nothing out of the ordinary. The dishwasher was brand new in our rental property so we had no choice. Fairly quiet Not big enough inside
Tad harsh giving it a rating of 2 stars because the dishwasher won't fit your clearly ridiculously large plates in it.
Terrible – Would not reccomend it to anyone cant comment over longterm reliability as i have asked for it to be removed and replaced. looks ok poor quality, very noisey, does not wash very well, does not dry very well, lower basket comes off rails. Came as part of a appliance package from Plantation homes. We had a few dishwashers over the years this has to be the worst.
Terrible – too bad since the following technical service, I had 1 / 2 hour waiting at the end not a result. Is the worst market machine, noisy, wasteful, a very bad design
Terrible – I have used a number of different brands since late 1970's, including early Indesit models, then Dishlex and most recently Bosch. This is the worst ever - it is so noisy, has no cleaning power at all even with everything being rinsed beforehand, nothing is dry on completion of the cycle and the rack layout is very ordinary and inflexible. It is… Read more
brand new in a rented property I am currently in so have no option to replace. Do not buy this model / brand Not much really Very noisy, poor cleaning ability, does not dry very well
Good – I've had this dishwasher for about 2 years now and haven't had any problems with it. We got it for 'free' with our kitchen when we put it in. I find it to be fairly quiet really but the cycles tend to take over an hour to finish which I'm not sure if is normal or not as this is the first dishwasher I've had. I find it cleans my dishes quite well.… Read more
It's rare to find dirty dishes but I do use the 'heavy' cycle a lot as I fill it quite well and even wash my pots in it. It's fairly quiet and I'm happy with how it cleanes my dishes. Takes a long time to finish (but this could be normal)
