Build quality is just not there – I have gone through 5 of These units. Thankfully under warranty. The idea is fantastic but the quality is just appalling. For the last year calls are frequently unable to be made or received as handset 6 is not working properly. Handset 6 is the base unit. If I had the funds I would go buy a Panasonic.  Show details

The T Hub and phone is the biggest load of rubbish I have ever bought – The T hub is the worst device i have ever bought and the hand set drops out all the time. just spoke to telstra about it and they said to bad so sad. Not interested. I have had it 2 years and it has been unplug for a year and a half. The phone drops out all the time. It was waste of money. I should have taken it back the week after I bought it.

The worst product locks up. of zero functional use – The device needed reseting each week following each lockup. Telstra agreed to take it back but did nothing for me to return it. Despite multiple calls it now just gathers dust behind my bar. Which is what Telstra wants. They ignore things until they go away. Do not buy this or the new model from telstra

We love our T-Hub – Not sure why there are complaints about the T Hub. We've had no trouble with ours - it's great as a phone, especially the speaker-phone capacity, and the extra handsets; it's great having the large clock face/time on the screen; and it's handy to have another computer screen for the kids to use. We love our T Hub!

Telstra T Hub - Very good features but $299. is too much – Works well just keep router within 10 meters from t hub, it works well when full wi fi bars are displayed. I enjoy Bigpond news sports and weather and listen to internet radio, has quality sound. Phone handset works great no matter where I in the home, loud speaker is excellent. Great apps handset only lasts about 1 to to 2 hours talk time before needing to recharge Show 3 replies

Amazing – We recently got the Telstra T-Hub in white and it's absolutely amazing for $111. The touchscreen responds very well and the design is set out very good. As for calling and texting, I love it! I'm always calling and texting from the T-Hub. We also got not one but two handsets! Touchscreen Design, Touchpannel Internet.

never works properly. not happy – Phone rings then stops then rings again and that's when I am able to answer the call. Won't record in coming messages. Time and date stamp years out of whack. Can't reset it. Basically useless. It just never gets used. only time it is good for is when telemarketing rings it stuffs up for them.

T Hub 1 - after warranty may as well throw it away, no support no parts – I bought THub 1 - power pack faulty & need replacement. Rang THub support, got finally connected after hours of waiting in Queue to be told out of warranty -basically useless piece of equipment. The THub screen pristine still has plastic on it - now it's rubbish if I can't charge it & cordless phone - same. What a waste of my money !!

T(errible)-HUB is a great desk clock and that is all – The T-Hub has very little to recommend it. This is supposed to be a centralised hub for communications, hands free, contacts, and whatever else a higher end Android tablet should be able to do. Well...pause for effect: Try getting your T-Hub to work with a blue tooth headset with any clarity - fail. Contacts and last caller search - you can go… Read more

out and grease and oil-change the car before it will be done - fail. The handsfree microphone - expect your callers to complain about the sound quality - fail. The speaker, well it is audible and that's it - fail.

The T-THub does however make an excellent, if somewhat expensive, desk clock - pass.

What a load of crud – I was conned in to buying a t-hub and it has succeeded in stuffing up my entire phone network. I have an old phone that worked perfectly until the t-hub joined network and I can now take about one call in ten. The rest result in noise, crackling and whistling.

great concept, pathetic equipment – In short," Don't Buy," I have had so many of these I feel like a professional tester..All become faulty within a very short period of time for both models.Unable to pair handsets with base station after they have disconnected themselves for example, base station turns self of intermittently, sound quality is poor for both base and handset, contacts quadruple themselves to name just a few problems.

Promising idea - poor implementation – When it works - I like it - Having a list of previous calls, voice messages on a screen is nice, integration with home messages 101 is nice It has the following problems The Tablet voice playback of messages is very low quality (ringing 101 or playback on computer is clear so I assume its lack of processing power or a bad codec) Support is… Read more

"crowd support" so no support for all its filings

Also it has many intermittent problems. For examples at various times it has done the following

Rather than answering phones hang divert the caller to voice-mail when picked up. This is very common and is so poor that it is the reason I am throwing it away.

Only some phones ring

Sometimes a phone just locks up with "handset 6 (the tablet)" busy

On an incoming call the phone you pick up rings continuously - until you pull the battery

Sometimes the call number display sometimes just displays the first two digits (then later displays the whole number)

Absolute Junk – Have been with Telstra through the T-hub 1 & 2, the handsets are the cheapest bits of junk you could ever have, phones can't keep the time and date stamp, so missed calls aren't recorded correctly. Phones hang or won't reset when trying to clear calls. Basically there is no consistency into how the handset works (or doesn't). Considering that… Read more

these phones are part of a plan that I have paid for, they really are woeful products.

The tablets are also crappy, I only use the tablet as a clock, that's about all it's good for.

DO NOT BE CONNED INTO GETTING ONE!! – The T Hub is rubbish and the phone that came with it failed after two months. The hub was really slow and didn't perform well as a tablet so I was unable to use it as I had hoped to. It lasted (in a fashion) till I had made the final payment and died the week after. I contacted Telstra Help to try to get it working but that was a waste of time… Read more

and the honest bloke that I spoke to agreed that they had had lots of problems with them. He told me that the new version was better but I had no intention of risking more disappointment. It did make a good (but expensive) clock.

However, the T Box that came in the original 'bundle' is a great little unit, still going strong and we have had a lot of use out of it.

What a Waste of Time & Money – Had the T-Hub for 3 months and found every so called feature never performed as specified. Finally the Base Station crashed; Telstra initially said they would replace the complete system, then it was send it back for assessment and possible replacement, today the final word is they have no stock with no change expected in the foreseeable future!… Read more

Sounds like code for "withdrawing the product from the market". Telstra has terminated the contract without penalty. I am pleased to be rid of the T-Hub.

Rubbish product, dont buy it – Had Thub for a couple of years. It never worked properly. It had trouble detecting the wifi even though a laptop next to it could! The last straw was constant ringing whilst we were on another phone call. I put it in the bin where it should have gone straight away. A total waste of money.

Useless piece of junk – I've had two T-phones and neither worked. After the first T-phone didn't work, I contacted Telstra for months and after this ongoing saga the technician said we had done something to it and would not honour the warranty. Telstra just sent us back the broken phone. After personally complaining very loudly at the city store they gave me e new one.… Read more

This one T-phone doesn't answer calls and we are unable to make calls. What a piece of junk. And ... can I be bothered going through the same saga and sending this one back to Telstra for "testing"?

Why is Telstra able to legally sell this product when it doesn't work and the company refuses to honour its warranty obligations? This phone will just cost you money. Absolutely nothing - it just costs you money It doesn't work, and Telstra will not fix or replace it

Useless! Don't waste your time and money – Useless piece of rubbish! Started off okay then the batteries leaked in the handset, this was replaced then the tablet wouldn't register the handsets. I had caused the damage maliciously! Annoyed and extremely mad to be accused of such a thing and told them so. Now don't want the rubbish and told them to send me a recovery bag to have the thing taken out of my sight. Told them I refuse to pay for it and am now waiting for someone to call me back. Ps I have lodged a complaint with the telecommunications ombudsman. Over it telstra bad customer service! Nothing Everything

Have missed more calls than I have been able to receive Have gone back to old phone system, thub is not practical and totally unreliable Will be more careful when telstra offers products again, certainly not worth the money I have to pay for the next two years

expensive and useless – for months and months we called Telstra complaining about this load of expensive rubbish. Spent hours on the phone testing it, it still didn't work and the technician tried to say he hadn't called when the call didn't come through from him. plug it in for 6 months as we couldn't trust it. Just plugged it in last week and already have not been able to answer incoming calls. It amazes me with all the phone technology around these days and this telephone company cannot make a unit which allows you to answer the phone. Totally pointless. I also would give it 0 stars if possible.

T-Hub let down - please omitt the one star. I couldn't continue wityhout it – Not only is it a heap of junk, be it a small heap, Telstra have been cutting back on the already limited array of apps. back. I am going to demand my money back and send the THUB back at their expense and I suggest you all do the same. It is clearly not what you were led to believe it was and it is now even less than that. You have every right to demand a refund. Do it now. This comment will be stricken from the record as while it is in the public interest it is not inline with the interests of Telstra, and beleive me Telstra are not particularly interested in the interests of the public. You would know this if you ever had to deal with them. I like that it had so much potential. Technically it is a very good concept Everything is wrong with it especially that the THub had so much potential that is never going to be realised.

Absolute Rubbish - we have the exact same complaints as everyone else – Useless product, customer service appalling - we decided to give it a try but have ALL the same problems as everyone is listing here. and cannot use it. This has been since day one.

We rang the 'dedicated t-hub line'. A satchel was sent to return the items for checking and now we have received exactly the same thing back claiming we broke it and we can basically just forget about any customer service.

Interesting that everyone no doubt received the same letter and reasons from them if they persisted enough to actually send the trash back.

So, what is everyone to do? Where do we go fro here? We are not unpacking the returned item to waste more time, yet they still want to be paid for something that should never have left the drawing board at their end. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Well, ok, the clock was sort of useful. Freezing, static, would not connect most times, errors constantly. could not use the phone because of the noise...appalling customer service, as always it seems.

Truly awful – Had the first t-hub which was pretty awful. Telstra persuaded us that the new version had all the bugs ironed out. FOOLISHLY we believed this. It, too has stopped working and we still have months of $11 payments to go.… Read more

Frankly, cannot be bothered spending a lifetime on hold trying to fix with Telstra because I doubt that such a lemon is fixable anyway. Never again. Would have given the t-Hub no stars but wouldn't have been able to post the review.

Useless – The tablet didn't work. Often 'freezes' and internet is inaccessible. The handset answers itself while on the charger. The handset won't charge, so can't be used. I bought this because I was convinced by the Telstra salesman that it was fantastic with the things it could do! I've had to unplug the T-hub and plug in the old phone so that we can make and receive phone calls. Nothing Doesn't work!

sturdy. crashes daily, does not find installed apps- sends to google store everytime, keyboard makes a horrendous embarassing clicking sound by default, tiny program space allowance the promptly disappears after a few prog upgrades, often freezes in the middle of a task, inconsistent video replay, absurd storage system, videos taken can only be transferred by uploading to yt, imports entire gmail contact list with no bulk edit function ffs, using handset creates more complications, sometimes simply does nothin after dialing, sometimes freezes when call recieved, crashes during calls, not compatible with many popular local apps, random placement of some keyboard buttons depending on? , opens windows til jammed, extra sd card is totally useless, & more!

Buy an iPad you will have less trouble and all it wont give you is phone calls in and out – Got talked into this piece of equipment by the telstra salesman. Should have looked on the net first. You cant transfer calls simply to another handset, or from a telstra wall phone. It caused too many problems. … Read more

Don't purchase this product – What a load of absolute garbage. I am so sick off big companies. Nothing on this thing works and if it does its only spasmodically. It's ugly it's old software (much like Telstra). The handset is abysmal. There is nothing that is enjoyable About this thing. Even the Internet radio is terrible. Works one morning and the next it doesn't? Then you ring tell them they've sold you a dud and they'll tell you that things are fine.
