I used tommee tippee bottles with my now 9 year old when she was a baby and they were great so I didn't hesitate to but again late last year for my new baby due this year, however ive had consistant issues with leaking, its so frustrating, ive bought vari flow teats and even tried size 2 and all of them have issues, ive wasted so much money on… Read more
them its rediculous so I have swapped them out with plillips avent natural response and they've been amazing, with the tommee tippee not only was the teat leaking from the 1 way valve but my baby always had milk running out of his mount down his neck onto me but I dont gwt that with the avent ones. I would not reccommend purchasing these, theyre horrible!
Absolute rubbish. Milk leaked all over my baby because the top would not screw on properly without force (screw thread does not align up properly). The bottle is supposed to be leak proof, but even after managing to secure the top the teat started leaking. The milk flow is so fast, my baby kept drooling milk or choking whilst drinking. Would not recommend, as this hasn’t happened with other brands I’ve tried. Show details
Horrible – I've had to use a reflux formula, these bottles make it impossible to feed my baby because some of the little clumps get stuck in the teat. Other bottles do not do this. It makes my baby extremely frustrated because I'm having to squish the formula, then he doesn't want to eat anymore. I wish I never brought these bottles. Tommee tippee brand,… Read more
bottles, sterilisers, bibs, anything is just horrible. If you want something good use Pigeon, philips avent natural, anything but this brand. Even the teats leak when the lid is off.

Not worth the cost – Bought a mix of the standard newborn starter pack and anti-colic bottles. Extensive issues with leaking (from the lid when mixing, not the teat), will need to try multiple combinations to prevent this (2/3 leak). Still leaks with after ensuring the teat is correctly placed. Other issue is that the newborn (size 0) teats flow rate were too slow… Read more
for out 3.2 kg 1 week old, needed to upgrade to size 1 teats from the start.
Third issue is sometimes the teat gets sucked in and needs to be manually pressed back out to continue feeding.
Positives, seems to attach ok, sometimes the bottles won't leak and (about 1/2 the time) work fine. We have switched to alternative brands, won't buy any more.
Tommee Tippee Trash – I absolutely hate these bottles but my bubbah HATES! HATES! HATES! them. I am a first time mum and these bottles are just straight up trash and horrible for both of us. All teats are too hard and flows too heavy for my newborn, bottles are poor design and hard to clean, lids are an absolute nightmare to put on AND take off, the soothers back… Read more
plastic part holds water and burnt my babies cheek (not teat), and when bubbah tries to latch and suck she is constantly getting air! I wouldn't recommend these bottles for newborns or any of Tommee Tippee products if this is my first experience with these but also looks like from other reviews they dont care about their customers so I'm definitely dodging a bullet with this one and wont be getting any other products from them. Any new mums need help with some good bottles I did some searching around a tried a few others and my bubbah loves the Pigeon brand bottles the best, they are amazing! Five stars. Not like Tommee Tippee Trash.
Baby bottle mold – I wash my babies bottles regularly with a full sterilisation evening and morning - and yet mild is still coming these bottles don’t seem too be BPA FREE at all Show details
No replacement teats avalible! – Do not buy! You can’t get replacement teats in a size 1 (the size the bottles come with) so I have these glass bottles and can’t use them. I have contacted customer support and they said they don’t sell them any more how strange. Buy a brand with replacement so you can continue to use them bottles. Baby doesn’t like Vari flow or size 2 they are to fast. Show details
Horrible – Logo comes off same as the number but customer rep wont even replace it as it comes with warranty. Bottle was used for 2days. Never buy this, totally not recommended. Not so happy with this. Customer rep will give you hundred of reasons. Not worth the try. Dont trust the brand, its money making Show details

My baby could of choked! – 2nd Jan 2017. My son was using this tommee tippee dummy given to him for the second day... we visited my grandparents and moments after i had taken photos of my son with my grandfather, my son spat the dummy out of his mouth, as i went to put it back into his mouth i noticed the dummy teat was a bit off, upon further inspection i tugged at the… Read more
teat a bit and was horrified to find it just came out with hardly any force at all. I contacted tommee tippee via fb page. After a day they finally contacted me properly asking for details but it took so long for them to respond i contacted head office via phone. They assured me it was a once off occurance. Offered me a replacement and asked me to send the dummy in for investigations and they would get back to me around 2 weeks after they have received to let me know what happened. After a misunderstanding as i had been waiting for something ro arrive in the mail for me to post, lead to me calling tommee tippee again only to find the postage label was emailed to me, i was finally able to send the dummy to them which i believed arrived 16th/18th Feb... i waited patiently for them to contact me... after approx 1 month.. i had heard nothing so called... i have since called numerous times only to be told there was no new imformation/results on the investigation but they would get back to me, they needed to chat to their superiors/management, oh it should not have taken this long... and finally after a lot more waiting and calls and excuses, today 6th May 2017 im notified that im not intitled to know the result.. and apparently either is tommee tippee head quatres. The evidence i have only is now photos, as they have tricked me into thinking i would be informed. I am fuming. I have been lied to, my time wasted, stuffed around for just over 4 long months , reliving the thoughts and possibilities of what could of happened to my baby had he infact chocked on the teat of the dummy, only to be told i will never know why the dummy did it that. I have worked in early education for over 11 years. I have cared for children who have used dummies everyday, so many children who have come and gone. I have seen them bite their dummies, and eventually over time break the teat, but never have i ever seen a dummys teat just come out. My son did not even have any teeth then at all.
This is a joke. This so called quality products and customer service is very disappointing, worrying and especially for parents who rely on these products, expect better. Im not saying this should of never happened, if anything it has made me more aware to do the pull test before ever giving my son a dummy again. But this response and how the situation was handle is ridiculous. I ask for everyone i know to please share this post. Please do the pull test on your childs dummy/pacifier before giving it to your child.

Best bottles by far – I have used Avent, Nuby and Nuk bottles and have found that none of them even compare to these. Unlike the other brands these bottles are wide and easy to put the formula into and to clean, the measurements are written very clearly and dark and easy to read, the rim also screws up very easily and those who say it doesn't clearly haven't tried any… Read more
of the other types of bottles. Also I've had my bottles for 8 months and they haven't faded yet, and to the comment above what says they stained in the dishwasher you probably washed them with spag Bol or pasta so it would have stained them. Also if your babies not latching on its probably becuase their used to bf not a fault of tye bottle. After using many brands of bottles I'd reccomend these to everyone their a great size easy to use and come in heaps of cute desighns you can also buy them in a six pack. I would also warn people about the Nuby bottles I bought these because they were really cheap and cute but they are horrible they fade really quickly run does not screw on properly and the measurements are hard to read. Size, easy to read and fill, easy to clean, great range of desighns.
Great bottles I highly recommend these bar one or two small things – I first purchased these when I was not making enough milk to feed my big hungry baby and needed to supplement formula feed. i brought these because it said on the packaging that they were recommended for breast fed babies as they mimic the breast. Well my baby took to these like she had been drinking from bottles since she was born. It was a huge… Read more
relief for that to happen and made me a happy mum with a happy well fed baby.
Great things about these bottles:
-the wide open neck which makes dispensing the formula into them very easy, no spilling over the sides of the bottles so you know that your scoop is the correct amount.
- The measurements on the sides are easy and clear to read in black writing. (apparently they used to have the measurements stamped on and it was harder to read but now they have changed that for the better).
- The cap for the teat is very secure and does not leak when travelling.
-BPA free
-Great size and shape for baby to hold the bottle and self feed which she is doing now.
-The bottle is wide and short so more stable when pouring in the water and less likely to tip over than the skinnier bottles
- Easy to buy at local supermarket and a decent price.
Not so great things:
- my first lot of two bottles discoloured in the dishwasher to an orange colour. Not sure why but they don't look that nice now, still fine to use though but I don't take them out in public.
- be careful that you screw on the teat cap properly as it can cross thread very easily and you end up with milk spraying everywhere when you shake up your formula.
So all-in-all i have been very happy with these bottles. I would recommend trying these before any other bottles first as you might save yourself some money by trying a few different bottles.
They are great and this is my third baby so I have used many different kind of bottles but these are a favourite. my baby took to these with ease my first lot discoloured.

3 happy children – Just couldn't use the variable flow teats... Too fast flowing it seems. We tried the gamut of bottles for our kids and ended up getting rid of all but the Tommy's. Kids loved them and they clean easily. Found the Pigeon and Philips ok but harder to clean and various kids wouldn't like one or the other probably due to flow or bottle shape. We had… Read more
quite large kids and they went from size 1 straight to size 3. This lasted all of them until weaned, with replacement teats only due to being destroyed by unrelated incident. No problems with the valves like some reports - faulty batch or undissolved formula blocking them perhaps? One problem only came up a couple of times - an older child discovered they were strong enough to push the teat into the bottle, which made a mess. They were promptly weaned.

no problems with these. Works for the little lady, works for me – Can’t complain. Don’t mind the shape, easy to clean and the brush’s to match are great! Tests are pretty easily manageable too they’re much cheaper then the standard bottles!! Don’t understand half the issues other people have hahaha maybe you aren’t doing it right I dunno. But anyways figure it out HAHAHAHA love it, about to buy 6 more because I’m just obsessssssed with the colours hey. Love it Show details
We super happy! – I am really happy with my bottles, never leek if they are putting together properly, my baby seems happier after We switch to the anti colic ones, as he has mild colic problem. We are doing mix feeding (formula+breast) and he never refuse neither one or the other. The sizes of the bottles is the standard I believe is what we needed anyway. Yes… Read more
it has many pieces but I love the fact that I can clean all of them really well. Only negative is that I can’t buy the pieces separately.

Been buying this brand as a new mum thought it was great but I was so wrong Such a pore design on their new baby bottles I buy from chemist warehouse , The bottle leakes milk , something is terribly wrong with the way the lid screws down onto the bottles, I'm so upset about this !!! Show details
Leakage – I wish I had read the reviews earlier. As everyone else, they leak badly getting my baby's clothes wet every time. No matter how well you close it. Avoid!!
They leak – I’ve now purchased these bottles 4 times in hopes that they will be as advertised “leak proof” to no avail, so I’d choose another brand, if you don’t want leakage Show details

Terrible product, avoid!! – Worked fine in the begin for small feed but when they got to 40ml it became terrible. When usingbthe tommee tippee bottle water and 40+ml the fancy anti coloc stem acts like a siphon and drain 20+ml into the warmer. Weve wasted sooo much milk before we worked it out. The milk is so precious and hard to make and then a bad design just drains all your effort away. Show details
Avoid at all costs – Bought these closer to nature bottles in advance of our first child. Appeared to be a good brand as was heavily promoted at a baby event so bought then without seeing any reviews. They are horrible bottles. The bottle foams the milk up when shaking and you can't see inside the bottle. One size teat fits all which on occasion my baby sucks at… Read more
different speeds and the whole bottle dribbles down his front, struggles to catch his breath. The bottle makes him take in too much air and often vomits after drinking.
We've switched to a different brand which has an anti-colic function and different teat sizes and have no problems what so ever.
Wish I had seen these reviews sooner. Do not recommend buying this brand waste of money.
This is terrible and over engineered – Bought Tommee Tippee closer to nature bottles and steraliser. The bottles are terrible. The smaller size (150 ml) bottles are too big that cover the new born nose! After two months I tried them again for my infant. The tits are badly designed so not much of the milk ended up in his mouth! The baby's chin and neck wad covered in milk Show details
Horrible – Do not buy these bottles had my newborn on them and flow is way to fast which cause my little one to be in pain every night with gas and colic switched bottles today and have had no problems with her crying in pain the poor darling we are now using avent

Terrible bottle that overflows even at the one month teat – Tommee Tippee bottles are poorly design that they overflow. The bottles I bought that only been used a few times all had to be binned. The Pigeon bottles were great. Show details
Very disappointed – We have been using this product with our baby since birth and the biggest issue is the numbering that wipes away in two weeks max. Initially I thought maybe we're rough when washing the bottles but this is the 3rd time we are changing the bottles and the labels/numbering wipes away constantly and consistently in just under two weeks. It wipes away… Read more
so bad that the black peels would stick on the teats. I am very disappointed because the brand is very expensive for such to be happening.
Horrible product – I got the tommee Tippee because it claimed to be similar to breastfeeding. 1 feed of this bottle cost me a day and night of horrible nipple confusion that were still working through. It's nothing like a breast !!!! Try pigeon instead. I'm honestly so disgusted in this product Show details
AVOID THESE BOTTLES, NOT GOOD FOR BABIES TRYING TO GAIN WEIGHT! – These bottles are horrendous! The teats do not allow enough flow for newborns and they work too hard to get the milk out, have been using for 3 weeks and wondering why my bub only had small weight gains and taking an hour to drink 50ml, changed to Pigeon today and he has taken 50ml in 15 minutes. Would not recommend these bottles to anyone, I… Read more
bought multiples thinking they were reliable but will be throwing them out now!! Avoid at all cost, not good for bubbas or mummas!
Love these bottles – My 3 month old would get lots of wind from the closer to nature bottles but since changed to these ones he drinks a lot slower, from a baby who wriggle in pain from the wind to now a bub who happily drinks his bottle with no issues and the "normal" wind you'd expect from a bub. You do have to ensure baby is latched correctly otherwise there will… Read more
be issues, if bub is a fast drinker you should remove the bottle to let it settle a bit and then give it back to baby. I just bought a munchkin basket for the dishwasher so all parts go into that and makes washing a lot easier. The heat strip is excellent but I use the perfect prep machine so that makes it the perfect temp but it's really handy for when you go out or are at a friend's house. I think maybe other posters aren't using the bottles correctly because I've not had an issue with them and I've been using them for over a month. I've never had mine leak either.
Terrible – I agree with the other posters my son was constantly awake at night squirming in pain from reflux and colic due to this bottle . The flow is too fast for newborns . Terrible experience
Worse purchase ever – If you don't like to sleep and see your baby crying all the time cause pain, then this is your bottle. But in part is my fault for not to some research and realised that this product is very very very bad. 4 days using the bottle and every single time my girl crying in colic pain. Today I change bottle to Dr brown and for my surprise this one made the job in the first feed. Hopefully no one purchase tommee tippee bottle Show details
DO NOT BUY - ANTI- ANTI COLIC – Bought 9 of these bottles so I didn't have to be up washing them all the time, and what a waste of money. Let's start with the nipple. The flow is too much for a new born, so they are coughing and gulping which doesn't help with colic. The nipples collapse so you need to stop atleast twice to take the lid off and press the nipples back out. The… Read more
bottle design is rubbish. They are too chunky and hard to hold. There is a massive lip on the inside which stops 10-15ml of milk coming out, so you are wasting milk with each use. When used in the tommy tippee sterilize the bottles get a gross chalky feeling on them.
These bottles are terrible – I hate these bottles, I really wish u had read the review before I purchased them. They leak on the sides, the flow is too much for a new born and the Tommee tippee writing started disappearing in 2 weeks of use.
Faulty - products died within 8 days – Bottle warmer died on the first day of use - 8/3/22. Steriliser died today 16/3/22. Very disappointed in the quality of the products. Very disappointing to be dealing with these issues after giving birth. Show details
Poor quick – This is horrible product. I had 3 babies and non of them were happy for that crap. They couldn’t drink properly with that bottle and I thought they were not hungry. Some bottles were still ok, but some of others were really didn’t get the air into the milk bottles so milk didn’t come out from the bottles. Please check each bottles and keep the same quality before shipping. Show details
