Good – a good unit with ease of use and good picture quality, neat remote control easy to use. the unit is compact and is easy on the eye unlike some of the bigger units. so far i've had no picture break ups and i'm very satisfied with i'ts performance. good picture quality, easy to use a compact unit won't take up much space. no picture aspect button on the remote control but this is easily overcome as the 0 button changes the picture aspect.some reviews say the unit gets hot but mine just gets warm as is normal.

Good – An excellent product with great sensitivity and flexibility i paid $215.00 and consider it good value against its rivals. My TF4000T performs well and has a very useful remote. The teletext works a treat and it's sensitivity is excellent. There was a comment that the picture format cannot be changed from the remote, well the book doesn't tell you but by pressing 0 it steps through the modes which I find very handy. When the unit initially scans the channels it allocates what the book calls a SERVICE number to each channel it finds in order of frequency, this number is what the remote uses to select the channel. I contacted topfield to ask if I could reassign these numbers to match the channels but the reply was that I could not. sad! I found the box ran quite hot even in standby.

Good – I received this box free with the purchase of a new LCD screen, so I wasn't expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised. This STB was easy to set up, and replaces some quite awful analogue reception with stable digital images. It's been carted around a bit, and hasn't so much as hiccupped. It has the advantage of being reasonably small, so will fit into most a/v cabinets, but does run a bit warm. I would have liked a channel indicator, the manual is hopeless, (why don't these companies find a "Joe Average" to proofread their manuals?) and one of the remote buttons is dodgy. But its performance can't be faulted. Easy to set up.

Extracts good stable images from poor signals. Poor manual.

No channel indication.

Good – Good product at a good price. Mine is actuallt the TF4000T, but they are basically the same. Mine has been trouble free and has good picture and sound quality. Small size also. Cant get the remote code to plug into my universal remote.

Good – Good performer, remote is well laid out and the Scart output from the STB allows for good quality viewing even into older TVs. Good value at $220 from Megamart, Brisbane I have the TF4000T model, very similar to the TF3000T. It performs well, very good picture quality and excellent cable connections are provided for component; S-Video or composite ouput from STB to the TV. Unit seem to run very warm to hot even on standby. Manual could be better written. Remote doesn't toggle between 4x3/letterbox/centre cut as I understand some other STBs do.
