Toshiba Camileo X100

Cheap but inferior – This HD video camera is poor. It over exposes images in natural light - facial features in some light settings flare with white light. There is an inherent problem with its audio. There is a very annoying clicking noise on the audio track - it is very intrusive and annoying. Colour saturation is poor. Battery life is unacceptably low. Overall the product is just unacceptable. Poor quality product overall - there is nothing that can save this camera Over exposure, noise on audio tack, poor colour and poor battery life
Cheap rubbish – Cheap camera not worth the money. Battery life was a dismal 15 minutes after being fully charged then stored for two days. Stabiliser mode was virtually useless and did not reflect anything like Toshiba's advertising on Youtube, the stabilisation was hardly noticeable. Very slow to focus and despite apparently having 60fps (frames per second) the camera could not capture moderate movement.
To try and find something positive about it, it had a fairly good on screen touch control and captured good colour. Thankfully I got my money back from the retailer (because it did not meet the purpose purchased)so I can buy a better brand On screen control. Very poor battery life, very poor stabilsation (in all modes)

I purchased two of these for $89 from Amazon. And I think it's great, although I don't use the mic on the camera. Your hiss can be fixed in video editing programs such as Sony Vegas. Also this thing takes 16MP still photos at a resolution of 4,608x3,456 it seems to be a better camera than a video cam. Most of the raw video footage had to be converted before I could even edit it. But I do use it for photography and it's amazing. (Most of my photos are shot in front of a green/blue screen with the right lighting though)
