Toshiba fridge 2 door with top freezer and simple but fantastic ice maker – We purchased our Toshiba Fridge 12 years ago.i can’t find the model number but it has chrome handles and great ice maker. We just fill the container in the fridge and it dose the rest. My god we have never had an ounce of trouble in any way. Best fridge we have had in our 46 years of marriage. Congratulations Toshiba .

Terrible, would not recommend – While still under warranty we had to have the computer board replaced. We've had to have it done twice at our own cost since then. Each time the fridge has died, we've lost everything in the fridge and freezer. Last year it started turning off automatically, we'd find defrosted goods in our freezer! We are currently experiencing the fridge freezing everything! The crisper draw gets frozen to the bottom of the fridge from ice that's forming from water running from the back of the fridge, near where the blue light is on the back wall of fridge. I'm losing all my food again now to being frozen, having loads of rescue rabbits we keep a heap of greens in there and are spending a fortune only to lose the food. It's been a hideous experience from the word go.

Good value for money! – Upgraded to this from a smaller fridge and so far after having this unit for about 5years with no issues whatsoever, 530L you can fit alot in this fridge and we only run it at about 1/3 power and it works great, its quiet it doesnt use alot of power, it doesnt have any bad fridge smells. the UV lamp works well and all compartments are easy to get to. The grey/charcoal model looks good, cheap compared to others in same size Automatic ice maker would be good but for the price i cant complain.

Excellent – We bought the fridge about a year ago, and we are apsolutely happy about it. Plasma technology realy works,food stays fresher for longer and does not stink. Qeensland is so hot that we keep even bread in the fridge, and large capacity comes handy. I found most of the information about this fridge on international web pages,because people in Australia don't talk about good things that we have available here. I recomend it to anybody that is buying a new fridge. very quite,no fridge smels,lots of ice,lots of space,value for money

Good – However I was not happy with the attitude of the customer service person who answered the phone. A young girl who probably hates her job and seems very disinterested in helping us find a technician...all because I asked the wrong question apparently. Shame Toshiba your customer service let you down. I phoned the helpful White Goods manager at Harvey Norman (with a nice heart who works in Customer support and surprise he does his job well and was helpful) who gave us the answer we thought Toshiba should have. Quiet, no smells lots of ice, good space, looks good. Love the ice maker facility. Easy to clean, sturdy plastic and glass shelves which are easy to remove. We have owned just over 2.5 yrs now and it has just failed. But thats okay as our son left the door to the freezer open that night and we think it tried to hard to keep cool and burn the board out.
