Toshiba Portege M400 (2006)

Terrible – Tshiba mobilecare unfortunately do not understand the word urgent.1st repair 7 days,second repair approximately 14 days,and this is a business computer,a very expensive tablet.Nearing the end of its warranty period,so toshiba will not replace it,the will continue to repair it till warranty runs out.I would never buy another Toshiba laptop after my experience. Portablity and speed ,when it actually works. Freezes constantly.Sometimes won't start at all,been repaired twice and comes back not working properly,in for a 3rd time now.Have already been without it for a month.

Terrible – I knew I was dealing with a weaker machine because I wanted small and light but it kept crashing on me. Once of the mouse buttons stopped working and a Toshiba service agent came out to fix it. It couldn't even wake up from sleep properly. All in all this machine was such a pain. It wouldn't function for me and all I used was Internet Explorer, Outlook and the Office Suite. Small, light, good looking laptop. The tablet function is great and I use it alot. Performance is limited. It kept crashing and when put into sleep mode, had trouble waking up. No disc drive was annoying too.
