Toshiba RAS-13/16NKV-A / RAS-13/16NAV-E

Could Be Better! – We have two brands of Airconditioning in our home, Mitsubishi, and Toshiba. So, I've been able to compare them both. The area that lacks on the Toshiba is the Auto setting on the fan, I've found it to be unable to function as it should. (Using Three units Installed). To maintain the required temp, I need to set the fan at max, and then all works fine. Experimenting with the various settings, it seems that the unit forgets to keep the temperature stable, and the temp during the night creeps up, until there is about a five degree rise, and we end up uncomfortable. I've reset the units, made sure the filters are clean, all to no avail. I'll talk about the Mitsubishi in the correct category.
Takes longer than our other brand to cool the air.
Excellent – Had never heard of Toshiba air-conditioners but had it installed on the recommendation of our local A/C specialist. So glad we listened to him as the price seemed too good to be true for a high spec unit. We have been really happy with this unit. Quiet, efficient and effective. Hardly noticed a bump in our electricity bill after using it all winter and have had no faults or issues with the system at all. Reliable, quiet, good price to buy and cheap to run. Really good quality system Nothing in 4 years!
