Smart veg – These Fridgesmarts have been a money saver for me. I'm one of these people who buys tons of fruit and veg, puts it in the fridge and forgets about it and by the time I find it again it's gone mouldy! Since using these my veg isn't off or soggy in a few days anymore. They really do work! Easy to use, comes with magnet on each vegetable/fruit and they work! Hard to clean in the grooves

Longer Lasting Fruit and Vegetables! – I did not believe this product would work as well as it does. It extends the life of our fresh food x3. I can have capsicum last over a month and be perfect and ready to cook with. As it is just my husband and I we find our eyes are bigger than our eating habits. We over buy produce when it looks fresh and great. These Tupperware Fridge smarts… Read more

Really effective – I have always loved Tupperware and have hosted my share of Tupperware parties in the past in a bid to add to my collection. As someone who keeps a lot of fresh produce, I really believe the Fridge Smart range is effective at increasing the shelf life of fruits and veggies. They are expensive but worth it in the long run as they prevent food wastage and help you get the most out of your produce. Expensive

Ok- Not Great like they say – i purchased 4 of the fridge smart containers, and i really dont think they make the food last longer, i put cucumbers in them a week ago,( with the correct vents) did everything i was meant to, and opened today, covered in mould and wasted my money, everything else that was in there was also reuined, so i had to chuck the lot. waste of my money really. and take up room good quality expensive for what they Dont do

Apparently cucumbers are best stored out of the fridge, not in the fridge and they don't go slimy

Will save your Veggies & Save you Money – The containers do exactly what its marketed to do, prolongs the freshness of your fruit and vegetables. But I have found over the months I am not using them as often as I should, especially for the money I have paid for them. I have found them to take up a lot of room in our fridge, especially the larger containers. I mainly use the smaller… Read more

containers,if you have a large fridge this would not be a problem. Save on wastage there fore saves you money. Takes up a lot of room in fridge and the lids can sometimes be tricky to put on. Also hard to clean out the bottom of container, because of grooves.

Terrible – I bought a whole set of these at a relatives kitchen tea party. I took my vegetable crisper out of my fridge and popped these in instead. After 6 months I got rid of all but one, the smallest one which is good for strawberries. Would not buy again. Did extend the life of my fruit and veg which would have been good if I only shopped once every 2… Read more

weeks. Takes up too much room. Expensive. Not neccesary if like me you shop once a week, it extends fruit and veg life but it's a pain having to open them (as they close so tightly) every time you want an apple or a carrot.

Limited useage – Bought fridgesmart set. Found all containers just too short or shallow for full size vegetables and had to be cut down to size. Very disappointing considering the hefty price tag. That being said, the fruit and vegetables in the containers DO LAST at least 2x the time just in the fridge without the usual wrinkliness you get on skins. For a person… Read more

on their own, you will save the cost of the set within 2 years by using the containers all the time. So, 5****** for effectiveness and 2** for proportions of containers.

keeps veg crunchy for weeks!! – I buy my veggies in season in bulk and before these containers, would have gone mouldy before we could eat it all. this, however, keeps my fridge neat and tidy, allows me o put multiple veggies into one container if the 'breathe' together and can go on the same hole and stay fresher for longer. I really notice the difference when I have to put… Read more

something back into the crisper drawers because it doesn't fit in a container and the quality down grades quite quickly. very thankful for them and so is my grandma who lives by herself, who gets to keep her veggies a lo longer because when its just one person you don't go through food so quickly, but these containers allow her to get more mileage out of her money and food!

Tupperware rules – Have always loved tupperware, and even though its expensive, is well worth the investment in the end. Really does prevent your vegies from going soft so quickly. I used to throw away so much, it really was wasteful. Used to stick to just the food containers for the microwave and the storage containers for the pantry, but now these will be… Read more

These are awesome!! – I was told by several people how great these are, but was still skeptical. These make things like feijoas and celery last for weeks, literally, in the fridge. Good value! – Very easy to order with these guys. Delivery is also very quick, items arrived within a few days. Now i have plenty of storage containers to keep my food in and take to work with me. Havn't needed to use the customers support but i don't see why it would be bad. easy to order, good range, excellent prices

Great but expensive! – These are really great and can save money by keeping fruit and vegetables fresh for longer. One major problem is that I can never find the lid when it's in the cupboard! The tupperware lid fairies always steal them. On the whole they are well worth the outlay but are they better than the Decor ones? I need to do a controlled experiment! Keeps food fresh Expensive

Keeps my vegies fresh!! So I save $ and don't waste food! – When my fortnightly fruit and vegetable delivery arrives I get out my Tupperware FridgeSmarts and get it all sorted at once. containers what I've got - without rummaging through plastic bags of mouldy unrecognisables!

When I'm ready to cook so are my vegies - cos they're already rinses trimmed etc!

So easy! Saves money, Saves food, Saves time! It really works - it keeps my broccoli from yellowing, stops my greens from going limp! Need to make sure you have the right size to fit large vegies!

Keeps food fresh longer in the fridge – Quite expensive but totally worth it. Keeos fruit and vegetables fresher longer. Apples are sooo crispy when stored in these containers. Only thing annoys me is I lose the little clips that control the humidity but at least you can buy replacements from Tupperware directly. Totally does exactly what they claim it does. Really keeps fruit and vegetables fresher longer

Good – I think that this is a great product. The food stays so fresh in this container and you can change the airflow depending on the type of food in it. I love using the long containers for celery. Good – These are one of the better tupperware items. They work, they are see through. They are bulky to store and quite large, can take up quite a bit of room in the fridge too. Good – I do not use my containers for all fruit and vegies, but have found them to be fantastic for baby spinach, rocket and celery. They are an investment - the money you save by using all of your vegetables before they go off tends to pay for the containers. Keeps most vegies fresh for much longer than if left in the main fridge section - celery and… Read more

baby spinach last for 2-3 times as long when kept in the fridge smart containers. Can stack on top of each other so it saves room in the fridge. Can get a build up of condensation if you do not put the food in the container in the fridge with the lid off for a while until everything is the same temperature as the fridge. Cost a lot.

Good – I wouldn't rush out to buy these for my fridge at home as veggies mostly get eaten before they go bad at my place. However the containers have been brilliant for 4WD travelling and camping where some type of organisation within the Esky or Engel fridge was needed. I would wash and prepare the veggies in advance, store them in these containers and… Read more

then whilst on the road or at a campsite, it made food prep so much easier. I used them every day for a whole year whilst travelling around Australia by 4WD and they stood up to the test. The Tupperware Fridgesmart containers have a venting system to control the moisture and 'ripening gases'. The bottom surface is rippled so that the veggies don't sit in water. I have found them to be really useful for taking away your veggies whilst camping and 4WD travelling. They are expensive to buy.

Excellent – I hesitated to buy these until a friend enthusiastically recommended them at a tupperware party. In the fridgemate, it took 3 weeks! So I was keen to… Read more

get rid of my crisper drawer and replace with these as I tend to take a while to get through my fruit and vege and then need to toss a lot of it out. It took some time, but I have since bought 4 FridgeSmart Large boxes as well and combine different fruit/veges with the same breathing requirement in the same box. It is fiddly after a big fruit/vege shop, but the savings and continued freshness are worth it for us.

If you want to start small to give it a try, do go the medium longs rather than the medium, as the medium longs can take longer veges like carrots or asparagus (or a celery bunch chopped in half). Keeps my fruit and vege much fresher expensive; if you leave a vege for too long [ i.e. >3 weeks ;) ] condensation starts to fill the ripples in the base.
