Twinings Russian Caravan

I have recently traveled from Russia to Australia for personal reasons. I was missing home and felt incredibly home sick. So you could imagine my shock when I go to Coles, trying to buy some tea. Then seeing the name "Twining Russian Caravan" on the shelf. For one, I was absolutely appealed. How dare such country try to sell a Russian inspired product! Despite my emotions, I calmed down and bought said tea. I went home immediately to try it and to my shock, it was absolutely delicious. I was extremely surprised to find out that such a country can produce an item so smooth. Will definitely recommend to my friends and family in Russia. спасибо большое!

horrible! no flavor at all! even with the bag left in. it use to have a lovely flavor. don’t know what’s happened. thought i’d save some money and buy this brand but im going back to T2. it never disappoints!

Poor taste and disappointing response from company – Ive been a Twinings tea drinker for more than 20yrs. I have regularly purchased Russian Caravan tea. I recently bought some and it had little flavour. It had lost most of the Smokey taste and smell. I contacted Twinings and their response was ‘ nothing had changed with their blend’. This was incorrect. Something has changed and I will not buy it again

Could be stronger – I'm reviewing the Russian Caravan tea from the blue Twinnings packet and not sure if it is the same blend. The tea in the blue packet could be stronger. More teaspoons of this tea than usual are required to give this tea adequate flavour.

Distinctive Favour – Quite a distinctive "musty" flavour. Makes an ideal change from stronger everyday teas. This flavour is quite refreshing especially with a little milk. Unfortunately the taste buds seem to get used to it so I like Russian Caravan as a respite from the Nerada's and Irish Breakfast teas Flavour Taste buds do get usd to it
