Disappointed customer – Very disappointed after years of eating this product. The shape and texture is completely different. Pack was open and not sealed. Picture on the pack is different to product inside. Show details
Do Not Buy!! – My family has eaten Vita Brits for years but now 2021 the biscuits look exactly like WeetBix. Small, Hard, Tasteless. P. I sent an email to Uncle Tobys explaining how this is a disgrace to the Uncle Tobys Vita Brits brand and they told me to rest assured the product is still 99% whole grain wheat with a pinch of salt to help keep our biscuits… Read more
together.. They told me they have had some changes to there manufacturing. The change, we now use standard salt (sodium chloride) instead of a salt and sea salt blended. The weight remains the same but you may notice the individual Vita Brits are slightly more compact as is our outer packaging. We have also reverted to a fold over bag inside following feedback from our consumers who found this technique helped keep our Vita Brits fresher for longer after opening. All that is great but if it doesn't taste the same, scrap the idea. I highly recommend do not buy vita brits until they go back to the original way. Email your complaints to uncle tobys.
Vita Brits, Don't Buy Them – Recently got a new box of VitaBtits. What a major disappointment. From the smaller box, smaller biscuits, unsealed packaging, and even the Made in Australia logo has gone. And they taste terrible, nothing like the old one's. Box used to say, Made in Australia from at least 99% Australia ingredients. NOW SAYS Our cereals are made combining the… Read more

New Vita Brits Rip Off! – I couldn't believe my eyes when I added the last Vita Brit from my previous packet to my bowl, then opened the new box to get another. At first I was glad that they had finally realised that the previous plastic lining was completely useless to keep the brits fresh once you had opened it. But my satisfaction turned to horror when I realised that… Read more
it wasn't sealed! But that was nothing, compared to the glaring size difference when I put the second brit in the bowl next to the old one. See for yourself. What a rip off!

Don’t know what they tasted like before, but I like them – Reviews everywhere seem to be hating on them and that they no longer have a malty flavour or whatever, but to me they taste amazing and that’s all that matters. A nice extra addition to my cereal mornings that add a pleasant toasted wheat flavour.
Staple breakfast for 70 years – Vita Brits has been my staple breakfast cereal for over 70 years. As a growing teenager I would eat a row, generally 12 biscuits, for breakfast and that is down to 3 now. I prefer Vita Brits to all similar biscuits as they flake when crushed, other biscuits crumble when crushed and stick to my teeth. Show details
Excellent Cereal with No Added Sugar – I love VitaBrits. I use to eat Weetbix but couldn't handle the sugar content. I don't have any problems digesting/consuming VitaBits and I'm a lot healthy because of it.. Thank you for making a great product when there is so many terrible options available. Show details
Negative reviews
Vita Brits have been ruined – I cannot believe how much Vita Brits have shrunk in size and reduced in taste. I have been a life-long Vita Brits eater, but no more. The terrible new tiny wheat biscuits are just awful; not just because they are now miniscule, but because they have absolutely no taste. Why has such a staple of the Australian diet been so ruined...? I - and everyone I know - refuses to buy them anymore. Such a shame, this loss of another Australian staple. Show details
Tried & true goes out the door – Have a vitamins consumer since early sixties, last two weeks have not been able to buy- supply issues!!!!! Next we will see the company cease production due to "lack of sales". Why change proven product that has stood generations over a long period of time,SHAME ON THE INTERNATIONAL COMPANY WHO OWN IT
Time for change – Unfortunately you have not listened to anyone over the last few years. As a child I started eating Vita-Brits now at the age of 75 I will be changing to something more tasty.

not the best but okay – When I mix it with warm or hot water, it dissolves so fast and it tastes awful. However, when I tried adding condensed milk and cold water, it actually doesn't taste bad at all.

Better than Weetbix – I used to eat Vita Brits years ago before I stopped eating cereal. A few months ago I started buying Weetbix but found it bland. Switched back to Vits Brits and they taste just as i remembered, deep wheat flavour (they are just compressed Weeties), and don't dissolve too soon in milk. Love 'em. Show details
Sadly changed – I’ve been a lifetime vita Brit’s consumer of 65 years sadly the change that was recently made has made the yummy malt flavour from the 60s into a tasteless inedible dried biscuit I’ve tried to ignore this lack of malt but the recent changes have made it basically lifeless and tasteless Sorry but I’ll have to find a substitute Extremely disappointed Graeme Drechsler south Australian
My dog won’t eat them! – The new smaller, harder , drier Vita Brits are an insult to all who have grown up on them over the decades. I’m sure Aldi will bring out a better product soon like the original at half the price . Shame Uncle Toby’s Show details
Rest in Peace – Uncle Toby’s shut down the production line. What comes in a Vita Brits packet comes from overseas and is not the same as the cereal many of us grew up with. Show details
Stick them!!! – Been buying these all my life, and you just STOPPED that with your smaller Vita Brits and quality now Sucks! Never buying any Uncle tobys Product EVER AGAIN. You are BANNED in my House!
not as good as Weet Bix – Uncle Toby's definitely not the best even with hot milk they were hard. I returned to store. I will stay with Weet Bix, much better. But both state 99% Australian product? Show details
Goodbye Uncle Tobys – As of today I will never be buying an Uncle Tobys product again. I was completely shattered when I opened a new pack and saw the tiny size of the Vita Brits and the new taste, which is awful. I cannot believe the audacity of changing what was a staple product for so many Australians. Shame on you, Uncle Tobys. You have now lost me as a customer after thirty years. Show details
The end of Vita Brits – For decades I loved waking up to my delicious Vita Brits each morning. But sadly, they have changed. That beautiful nutty flavor has gone. They are now just the same as tasteless soggy old Wheat Bix. So I have had to find another low sugar alternative - and have re-discovered Rolled Oats - from an Australian company this time. Lower cost, and… Read more
much nicer than the sloppy flavorless new Vita Brits. What a bad corporate decision by Uncle Tobys. Goodby Vita Brits.
Why have you made so many people unhappy! – I have just eaten my last bowl of the most delightful, delicious breakfast cereal on the planet after almost 60 yrs of eating the same thing. I had stockpiled as many of the old boxes as I could finding when I discovered the unimaginable and ridiculously unnecessary changes to what was perhaps the best breakfast cereal ever. Disgusted – My husband has eaten Vita Brits for at least 66 years and wouldn’t even consider eating any other cereal for his breakfast but that has all changed now! He kept telling me that they were different and he insisted on me calling to ask what and why the changes. When I told him the explanation I was given he said “I might as well eat bloody Weet Bix… Read more
now”. This change has been a disaster and I’m sure my husband isn’t the only one who thinks the company has made a huge mistake in changing this product.
Greeeed! – Typical case of greed...can't get more customer to buy product so, you change recipe to cut cost and make the books look good. Remind me of airlines awhile ago; just by removing 1 item from a meal, they could save millions a year. These are the trademarks of a company performing poorly! Time to sale your shares lol! Why change a perfect product? – The new Vita Brits are lacking the previous nutty flavour and are too hard. I've gone back to Weet Bix. Why in the world would you change them? Change then back!!! Show details
It was a good decision to change to VitaBrits – I've always been a WeetBix fan but following my grocery store being out of stock I chose VitaBrits. I was pleasantly surprised with the taste, texture and the fact there is no added sugar. I will now remain with VitaBrits. Thank you Uncle Tobys. Show details
Terrible – I had been eating Vita Brits for 34 years after swapping from Weet Bix due to the sugar content. I loved the old Vita Brits texture, size and taste but more importantly that they had ZERO sugar. Well between my son and I we would go through two boxes a week easily. After eating some of the new ones a while back I have gone off them. Yesterday we… Read more
threw out eight boxes of them as we can no longer touch them. Thank you Uncle Toby for changing the recipe, there was nothing wrong with it, you were on a winner, but please sack the idiot who came up with the idea to change it as we will not be buying them again.
Changed to taste like weetbix. Everyone who likes vitabrits doesnt like weetbix. Thats the point – Changed the recipe to taste like Weetbix. Everyone who likes vitabrits doesnt like weetbix. Thats the point. Brand homogeneity. No one remembers how to make good things anymore - super boring and regressive
We don't like the changes – I have eaten Vita Brits for years, but the taste is now almost the same as weetbix, so I won't be buying them again. I am having to search for recipes to try to use them up as they are just sitting in the cupboard untouched for some weeks. Gradually us diabetics are having less and less choice of sugar free cereal.
Ruined – The texture is completely different and they don’t taste the same. Might have to finally change to weetbix after eating vita brits for over 50 years. Such a shame shame Show details
