provide any real help or compensation. Their responses were repetitive and dismissive, even though I paid for shipping and followed every step to resolve the issue.

This has been a very frustrating experience. Poor customer service and lack of responsibility — I would not recommend this company.

Great resource, had my Miele parts and a video to show what to do! – Found this company when searching up how to repair the mains switch on my pretty old Miele vacuum. The YouTube video is brilliant; they had the spare parts in stock, delivery was swift, and then rechecking the video helped me to install the new switch. Fabulous service has saved me hundreds of dollars – I can't stop singing the praises of vacuum spot! My vacuum was almost dead and buried, but after seeing vacuum spot's you tube clip, i simply did as instructed, replaced two filters, pulled the body of the machine apart and cleaned it, (just as easy as it looked on the video), and bingo! difference a couple of simple replacements has made to my dyson dc08 barrel vacuum cleaner. Oh my goodness it is unbelievable!!! The cleaner is so powerful, when it runs off the carpet and onto the tiles, the suction almost immobilises the cleaner! It's suction is so intense. It's so powerful you can see it lifting the carpet off the ground! And the amount of dust and dirt it now sucks up is just astounding. I have not stopped raving about this to all my dyson-owner friends (and anyone else who'll listen!). About 3 of them have similar problems and are now doing the same as i did. Alec's easy to follow you tube instructional video has saved me about $900 in a replacement vacuum, and i am so very grateful. To anyone who doubts the improvement changing the filters might make, or has any hesitation about dealing with vacuum spot, take it from me, you will be very happy with the result. As well as the result, the filters were considerably cheaper than buying from dyson, plus they were delivered in about 2 days. I've stopped taking my vacuum for a nice walk around the house; now it's actually cleaning again. I cannot recommend this company (alec) highly enough.

Outstanding Service !!! – Required a replacement hose for my old Rainbow vacuum cleaner. Contacted my Rainbow technician who said it will cost me $89.00 plus $15.00 for packing and postage, unless I pick it up from him, (35 kilometres each way). Total cost $104.00 (GST inclusive). like the one I need for $58.90 plus shipping and handling fee of $10.15, totalling $69.05 (GST inclusive).

Not sure if hose fits my unit, I called Vacuum Spot and spoke to [name removed] for some advice. Within ten minutes, [name removed] was able to confirm that the hose will fit my unit; took my details on the phone, completed the order and organised every thing else for shipment from Melbourne to Sydney. Three working days later, the hose arrived at my place. Wow !!! Highly efficient, by my assessment. Very well done and keep it up.

Apart from a monetary saving of $34.95, [name removed]'s outstanding and exceptional service has made me change my belief that good customer service has become non existent, and is a thing of the past. [name removed] was very professional in her dealings with me; extremely helpful and patient.

In view of my above experience, I have no hesitation in recommending Vacuum Spot and the impressive customer service offered by [name removed]. Prompt, efficient and reliable.

Terrible communication, repeatedly – A bad situation could have been resolved so many times, but in all, I am dissatisfied with their service, sometimes a verbal sorry just doesn't cut it, especially when you heard that 2 weeks ago and still nothing has been done. We expected delivery may take about 7-10 working days, so after this period we began wondering where the goods were. The original order verification had a Victorian phone number which always went to message bank, and calls to there were never responded to. We then found the Sydney number and got hold of a helpful apologetic person, who said our order had been missed somehow, very sorry I'll send it today. Apparently a server crash had messed things up. Cool, no worries these things happen. No offer to send it express. Two weeks later, still no delivery, I phone again, get same person, who is utterly confused as to why we haven't received it yet, says I'll get back to you right away. 2 hours later I phone again; you are who? What order? Umm, not good enough, you were supposed to chase it up and call me straight back. Turns out he had phoned Melb warehouse, to get them to follow it up. I speak to the person there, turns out it has not been 'in stock' all this time and just came in yesterday. I explain that I have a newborn baby, 2 dogs and a rent inspection and cannot be without a vacuum cleaner any longer! Please, the least you can do for me now after all these stuff ups on your part is send it to me express, nope it's just gone, snail mail. If I knew this a month ago instead of being lied to about delivery status, I would have cancelled the order and bought it locally. The money saved is totally outweighed by frustration & disappointment. A little communication between your warehouse and your ordering people would not go astray! This is ridiculous, I am not impressed. Please note I'm not normally one to complain or go to the effort of making it public, but I'm really not impressed. Polite, price Bad communication, wrong information given on order status time after time, took a month to get any action.

was told that it would be sent immediately. 3 days later the incorrect charger arrived. Now I have to deal with the cost of return postage and either a refund or wait for the correct item to be delivered and possible and extra postage charge.

Stay away – Ridiculously long time to post. Day after using their website card was used overseas. Their website is corrupted. Don’t use them unless you have no choice.

Excellent Service – They supplied the wrong part due to a labeling error but fixing that was no problem. In less than a week the wrong part was returned and the right one delivered. AusPost was also very good. I have a 30year old machine so the part was expensive but otherwise I’d have to throw out a great machine - glad they still carry the parts. Definitely would deal with again. Quick, knowledgeable and great customer service.

sticking with. Prices are very good, as is product knowledge and service. The product was dispatched quickly and arrived in a couple of days. I couldn't ask for more. Dyson have the disconcerting habit of not marking their parts with spare parts numbers. It was anyone's guess as to which model our older machine was. Problem solved and I have a source for future, more regular filter changes. This is absolutely critical to the good running and longevity of these machines.

Unreliable website, be careful with you credit card – Bought a filter weeks ago, paid with credit card and two days later, unauthorised use appeared!someone used $1000+ in a cloth store in UK!!!!! I have never used credit card online for anything but this "VacuumSpot", so, go figure.

Vacuum hose spare part arrived very quickly – Ordered the vacuum hose online on Thursday and arrived the following day. Exactly what I needed as the vacuum was over 10 years old so hard to get replacement parts. Well packaged. Would highly recommend.

Vacuumed like new – Ordered new Dyson filter as original one fell apart so no suction. Ordered part on one Tuesday and it arrived following Monday. Vacuume. now has suction like it had originally. Would recommend them highly. Still waiting for Dyson to ring me back

Did not get correct product – Ordered from their website for DC07 model HEPA filter ...got something else to suit another model ...the diameter of the filter was too large to fit the DC07, had to return it (postage cost was mine). Ordered it via UK website and got the right thing. I was polite, yes I did know what I wanted, etc ...but they never acknowledged that they had got it wrong. Disappointing! plus a waste of my time and $7.50 postage to return.

New Motor M044 for Dyson DC08 – Burnt the motor out in my Dyson DC08. Was going to go to Dyson for help but decided to search youtube. Found VacuumSpot tutorials on dismantling and replacing the motor but most importantly putting it all back together. Ordered new motor and filters, 3 days later I had the vacuum all clean and working like a new one. Thoroughly recommend to anyone.

Prompt service – I live in regional NSW. I ordered a vacuum on the Tuesday, and the company phoned me an hour later to confirm the order, and to advise that it would mostly likely arrive on the Friday. It turned up the next day (Wednesday). Could not have been easier if they had a shop in town.

AVOID - Take money for out of stock products – Placed an order with them, only to be notified the item is out of stock and they will ship when they get stock. They immediately took my money for the filters I ordered however cannot delivery the goods as advertised. PLEASE AVOID buying from these guys. Rather order directly from the manufacturer.

BAD SERVICE but took money – Ordered on line end of November. No mention of the goods not being in stock. Took payment straight away . Rang as goods had not arrived a week later to be advised stock not in and would be a week, rang a week or two later as goods had not arrived still to then be told by new manager items would now not be in till mid /end of January and yet they still had my payment.. Shocking service.. .THEY NEVER rang once...

Excellent, the first place i'll go to in future for my bags – I couldn't find bags for my very old Volta Vacuum cleaner, not even from a very well known company, after nearly thinking i may have to throw the cleaner away i found Vacuumspot, they had what i needed, sounds stupid but it made me very happy to find bags to fit it. i'm very happy with them, and the service Vacuumspot provided me. To ensure the part would fit my model, I called the company and they were extremely helpful and knowledgeable which is refreshing nowadays. Great Customer Service, Great Products don't bother with anyone else – Seriously cannot fault this company. Their product knowledge is outstanding, product range is fantastic, shipping costs are extremely reasonable in fact I reckon on the cheap side and their customer service is just brilliant. Honestly don't even bother looking around at other places just bookmark these guys and buy from them. They even have youtube videos on how to change your filters
