16 years old and still going strong – My mother brought this model whirlpool fridge new in 2007. It’s now 2023. And it’s still going strong. Never had any problems or repair men to fix it. It just keeps on going Show details

Over 10 years old, never missed a beat! – My husband and I bought this fridge to move into our first home 10 years ago. It has had a few moves and never missed a beat. Nice deep door for lots of jars, divider in crisper is very practical, shelving has good height options, quiet. Can not fault it.  Show details

Fridge not cooling – New 6 years ago as main unit for kitchen, fridge never kept real cold. Freezer worked fine. Bought another fridge (Samsung) 3 months later which is awesome, whirlpool as a bar fridge, not real good in summer. Now fridge part not working at all, freezer is still working fine. Service centre not interested in helping.

Not Happy – Bought one new about 6 years ago to replace 30 year old fridge that worked fine. From day dot it made more noise than the old one. Nowhere near as cold, frezor takes to long to get things frozen. Plastic were you grab it to open broke not long after purchase and interior lights started flashing for years then not at all. Now 6 years on temp inside is getting warmer. WHY DON'T THINGS LAST LIKE THE OLD ONES? Nothing See above

VERY dissatisfied – I have been ripped off buying this fridge in near new condition second hand on Gumtree only to find the fridge does not cool. Seller will not return my money and after investigating online feedback and via refrigerator repairers find out its a dodgy model built in India and no point fixing as the expense is too high and will only break again in a… Read more

few months time. Can someone tell me why this product was not recalled with so many consistent customer complaints on the same issue!!! Once again we are without a working fridge.

Faulty product

Excellent – I advised my mum to buy this fridge after reading other reviews on this site. She is very happy with the fridge and glad that she didn`t purchase a smaller fridge that she had seen previous.Would recommend this fridge on price, quality and features. The fridge is a good size for a small family, lighting in fridge is good, the twist ice trays are a… Read more

bonus and work well. The quick chill areas in the fridge/freezer are also a good idea. The fridge looks and feels to be of good quality. Nothing really to speak of.The only thing was a slight rattling from a loose water catchment tray at the rear of the fridge.Fixed by just moving the tray around.

Excellent – I would recommend this fridge - It is a good size and you can fit quite a lot of food inside. The freezer is also a nice size. The ice cube maker is a really good idea and is easy to use without spilling water all over the floor. The shelves are very easy to clean. It is very quiet. It beeps if you accidently leave the door open slightly… Read more

Excellent – Overall so far this has been a really good fridge. I love the twist ice dispenser and the storage container for ice cubes, the door alarm is excellent and I'm sure will come in handy once our children are old enough to open it!! The glass shelves look good, are easy to clean, stop things from spilling throughout the whole fridge and can slide out… Read more

which is great for getting to things down the back. It has a fast freezing box which hubby find handy for cooling beer down quicker. Handles are great as this avoids markings on the fridge. Overall a good fridge and great price. Everything, fits alot in there, twist ice dispenser, odour control, glass shelves We bought the stainless steel version which is a little bit more maintenance with fingerprints etc however it does not mark as bad as some of the other stainless steel fridges I have seen - also whirlpool do have the satina range which is fingerprint free. Freezer space is a little bit smaller than we would have liked.
